  1. Paul, It may really be worth your time to dive in and get it advertised on Facebook Oliver TT for sale forum or just the FB market place. It’s not very difficult to list an item and you will be actually targeting/advertising to folks actually looking for an Oliver. In the last few years I have seen quite a few Olivers sold rather fast in the marketplace or the Oliver TT for sale FB page. If I were selling that’s where I would advertise. Best of luck, priced right it should move fast.
  2. My Olight Valkyrie Mini 2 -600 lumens. A blindingly bright torch for things that go bump in the night. 😎
  3. Very nice Geoff. Streamlight crafts a fine torch. I am big fan of BenchMade knives. My EDC is the Adamas “auto” folder. This has been an excellent EDC knife.
  4. Having always been a fan of all things Olight, my bride, navigator, and copilot gifted me this Olight Arkfeld Ultra for Christmas and it is now an integral part of my EDC kit. I like the cool white light, green laser and UV light functions and how slim it is. Caution flag as the brightest CW light @1400 lumens is blinding as is the strobe. The UV light is impressive as well. It has a very strong clip for mounting on the bill of a hat or securing it in your pocket. Looking forward to field use using this during our travels in XPLOR and will update how it performs. So far out of the box this little light is a keeper. What’s your favorite go to EDC flashlight? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D8SQYJW3?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 A fairly in-depth review.
  5. Not sure, do you have a photo to share to compare? Our Ollie is a 2020 YM. I can say that in almost 5 years in I no Temp/Pressure relief valve issues. 👍🏻
  6. The “new Jason” at Oliver Service told me, it is a quick in and out straight forward repair for the Truma. We look forward to getting it buttoned up. 👍🏻 Onward! 🇺🇸
  7. We have been using these quick dry micro fiber beach and shower towels for a few years. Simply laying the towels over our camp chairs in the sun or a light breeze, they dry out fast. https://www.amazon.com/4Monster-Camping-Absorbent-Microfiber-Backpack/dp/B07WJKZDTZ/ref=sr_1_7?crid=36GBWCVUZJGKX&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.dFe_c20sdlYzd-zyAsq_funKLO06H91apK9OV9Uo-B7K1TMNfYxCxmi5cCdNK4IrLIQRvTpSDp6OaqhWtkb0ZBZT4wgdUppjio_L8576pU4U1gPhIuAOCgZF91aJ_QJM42KtEGegGWH53DHZ99w6oFy4Fj178JhJCTjhnvv-1u8fB8ItzaZjKrY1Q2MTLmj7_jDgOlgEZQ_YgZstv1PeJieqA8lAJ4mhL3xZ9IP8HITAiBlvV0ZrD69UPC6Rf9JZOA9vz21rNOpNOUhy6bVSP5JIwRiuA8jsc0R1wVaTLyVr4OuPxSIo-POjdFFAni-Pboun0cjE227CyA-EXBVHI8oGdfRViE0peDPoSTYM3kAH5cmGNqro2eEAf-0O1FukZUKXVAgjhq50SuasdLtwxhRflhfIr983VMsXroufMJJ9VBRKFdKdyGwBGbS5-bxi.gaUk0TUySiVC8Pc-2DEnvwQcjauvHndLZHUItmP3P-8&dib_tag=se&keywords=camping%2Btowels%2Bfast%2Bdrying%2Blightweight&qid=1735633114&sprefix=Camping%2Btowels%2Caps%2C112&sr=8-7&th=

  9. Merry CHRISTmas and wishing All a Happy and Blessed New Year!! Soooooo looking forward to the New Year! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
  10. Yep, I did that with the one that broke off. When I accidentally skinned it while torquing my lugs. At $3 a piece its a quick fix. 😊
  11. I carry a few spares, one is none and two is one. I think the are a whopping $3 a piece plus shipping from Oliver Service. Broken tabs a no go. Spares
  12. What a valuable link, I like being able to see reviews. A very intuitive site. Thanks!
  13. Thanks Bill, done! The RV890 has served us well!

  16. I have been using rings similar to these for a few years now on my 30# tanks and they have held up really well. I cut a patterned piece of thin rubber for the LP tank floor and between the rings and the rubber I have no metal to metal contact or rust issues on the bottom edge of the tank ring or the tank platform. So far all good!

  18. We have a five sided clam and have used it some, but we have not used it in the last 2 years. It really depends on where we camp as to how much we will use it. As of late it’s been left at home on our long trips out west.
  19. Part of the challenge is many fire departments are not equipped or lack specialized training to deal with the hazmat of lithium super hot battery fires. 🔥 It also poses a great question, will EV owners eventually pay a higher insurance premium to park and charge their cars and trucks or in this case an RV in their home garage or on their property? Insurance companies are always looking for a reason or excuse to raise rates. If I were a betting man I say the carriers will raise their rates. Oh those unintended and consequences. 😏 Interesting times. Open Source info… Yes, lithium battery fires are very difficult to extinguish and require specialized tools: Thermal runaway: Lithium batteries can overheat and cause other cells to overheat, which can lead to repeated flare-ups. Reactive materials: Lithium batteries contain reactive materials that make traditional extinguishers ineffective. High temperatures: Lithium batteries burn hotter and faster than other fires. Exploding: Lithium batteries can explode, sending sharp metal shards flying. Toxic fumes: Lithium batteries emit toxic fumes.
  20. @Just Joe There are many available options out there for front storage boxes. In 2023, we did an epic 42 day loop out west and had our Honda 3200i mounted in the front basket. We never used the generator. During the trip, we quickly learned that storing a gen in the basket was not best use of this valuable storage space for our travel needs. The first thing we always found ourselves needing were chocks, blocks, 30 amp cord, LP grill hose, extension cord, and just all things go to gear. This meant opening the tailgate and unloading this gear out of a storage box in the bed of our TV. After returning home and doing a little research, I opted to order and install a front storage box from SeaBiscuit in Johnson City, Tenn. We actually went to their shop and picked it up as we do not live that far away from JC, Tenn. David and Kristine Hess, owners of SeaBiscuit, are some of the nicest people we have ever met. The quality and craftsmanship of their USA 🇺🇸 made products are excellent in our experience. On this year’s 47 day trip out west, the SB cavernous water tight storage box was a great decision for us and has served us well. It sure was nice to have quick access to set up gear instead of opening our tailgate and pulling out our gear at each base camp. We now store/carry our rarely used 3200i gen locked down in our TV bed. Everyone’s budget, storage and travel needs are different. This storage box works for us and is how we roll. If you decide to attend the 2025 Oliver Rally at Lake Guntersville State Park in Ala, David & Kristine Hess and their staff will likely be attending with products to display. Hope to see you there! Welcome to the forum! Patriot🇺🇸
  21. Good news! When I asked Jason about the Truma retrofit, I was asking about this being done on an OLE2. A lot more duct work to be done for sure. No duct work on the LE1 will might make it a pretty straight forward install. Edit- you may want to double check with Oliver on the Truma retrofit.
  22. Yes, agreed it’s really good stuff and all our Truma appliances have really served us well. Great move by Oliver to transition over to all Truma products. Zero complaints here. A little Truma trivia. The Truma Coporation is actually named after US President Harry S. Truman! 😊🇺🇸 Truman was instrumental in the his role in the Marshall plan which really helped Germany become industrialized after WW2. 😎 Wishing you well with your retro fit @DavidK let us know how it works out. 23. Hi David, Welcome to the fourm. In May of 2023, Oliver Service retrofit our OLEll with the newer quieter 13.5 BTU Truma Aventa AC. While at the service center I asked Jason Essary who is now the Director of Sales and Service if the techs had ever retrofit the Varioheat furnace to which he replied no. At the time, he said that it would be a very expensive and really involved (labor intensive) retrofit and not something that Oliver would ever consider doing. As for the control panel, I do think you can purchase it separately as we opted to purchase and have this control panel installed when we had Oliver install our new Truma AC. The control panel in our case serves as a back up should the Truma AC remote fail. I suggest you give Oliver Service a call (888) 526-3978 and ask if they have ever retrofit the Varioheat furnace. To my knowledge they have not. Please post up what you learn from Oliver. Patriot 🇺🇸
