  1. We are planning on touring Utah and Arizona during the summer months; have not made any reservations yet. It has been several years since we have been in this area but we are looking forward to a return trip.
  2. Leave me out of Facebook; there is too many security issues involved with it. I have spend many decades in the IT and Telecommunications world and have cleaned up many issues with friends computers that have logged onto Facebook. I have owned travel trailers for almost 50 years and have enjoyed the Forums associated with the trailer we owned at the time. The Oliver Forum has it technical issues but for the most part it is a location to share information related to the Oliver Travel Trailer.
  3. Bill: Looks like a great trip including the pictures, I guess it has been about 30 years since we have been to New Orleans.
  4. Sage: Is there any issues with the Anderson WDH if grease is used on the trailer ball?
  5. Ed: What air conditioner manufacture and model is installed in your Oliver?
  6. Welcome and congratulations on your Oliver purchase, we have really enjoyed our trailer. We picked ours up from the factory September 2, 2015 hull number 93; so our trailers were in construction approximately the same time. July of 2015 we were in your area of highway 101 and enjoyed our travels. Good luck with your travels and health.
  7. We have plans to be somewhere else during these dates.
  8. [attachment file=37680] Bill: The 2016 Toyota Tundra truck is an excellent tow vehicle for the Oliver Elite II Travel Trailer. Our Tundra is a 2016 Crew Cab Limited 4x4 and it does an excellent job. Good luck with you new Tundra.
  9. There is only one HDMI connection on the rear of the Furrion DV1200 radio.
  10. I removed the Furrion DV1200 radio and discovered that the red audio lead coming from the TV was connected to a wrong terminal in the radio. Moving the red lead to the correct terminal corrected the audio issue I was having with only two speakers. Now the audio is delivered to all four speakers if the “A” and “B” switches are activated. After reinstalling the Furrion DV1200 radio, I decided to check all operations out completely. We had only been using the AM/FM radio and the DVD option to watch movies or using the USB option to lessen to music. We had never inserted a CD before and when I did insert a CD it indicates “LOAD” and you see the Disc symbol running, then after approximately one minute a message appears on the Furrion screen say “No Disc”, and of course no music is heard. The Furrion allows me to eject the CD with no problems. Am I missing something when trying to play a CD? DVD’s play with no issues.
  11. After correcting the wiring issue, did you have audio coming from all four speakers or just the two speakers on the left side of the trailer? Our trailer was wired correctly, but after changing the settings on the TV as Matt recommended in the above video the TV audio worked but only on the left side of the trailer. So far I have not had any feedback from Matt from my May 14, 2016 post on this issue. It appears that OTT needs to do a better job of quality control of checking out these trailers before delivery.
  12. CHECK CABLES ARE CORRECTLY PLACED: OUTPUT FROM TV AND INPUT INTO RECEIVER. The cables on the output from the tv were placed incorrectly AND the input from the tv to the receiver were incorrect. As owners of Oliver Travel Trailers waiting for a fix from Oliver until July is not acceptable; they should provide detailed instructions as how to correct this problem, quickly.
  13. Matt: The Home Page is a great improvement, thanks. Is there something you can do about the time that is displayed when a post is created? It appears to be four hours in the future when the post is submitted.
  14. Matt: Using your above method to get audio from the TV via the radio works, but the audio is only delivered to the left side of the trailer front and rear speakers; is there are way it can be delivered to all four speakers?
  15. Matt: When a post is created the time stamp is several hours in the future, is this something you are working on to get corrected?
  16. When I posted this topic it said the time was 5:21 PM on May 5, 2016. I live in the Eastern Time Zone and it was 1:21 PM at the time I posted the original.
  17. Reading through the various post on the Oliver Forum, it appears there are a number of post with times stamps anywhere from 1 to 2 hours in the future of the current time. Is this a problem that is being corrected?
  18. According to Oliver Travel Trailers our Elite II weight at pick up was 4,990 lb, with full 20 lb propane tanks. We did not purchase the solar package but we do have the Trojan T105 battery pack. It appears that these trailers have a fairly wide range of weight at the time of delivery.
  19. Trumpetguy: Our 2015 Oliver Elite II which we picked up on September 2, 2015 was the first hitch every installed. And yes the receiver is only 3 1/2" long and has a weight rating of 150 LBS. I under stand that Oliver has had this bike rack hitch redesigned and hopefully with a longer receiver. According to a email I received from Jason at Oliver TT the redesigned rack is still rated for 150 LBS. I have put is a request to Oliver to replace the unit that was installed on our trailer with the redesigned bike rack hitch; so far no response from Jason or anyone else at Oliver. Our two bikes and the Yakima bike rack weights 121 LBS. I have only traveled with the bikes attached to the trailer just a few miles to see how they rode on the trailer.
  20. Trumpetguy: When you tightened all the lugs on the bus bar, did you find any loose connections? Surge protection should all ways be used when the trailer is plugged into 115 VAC, very cheap insurance. Glad everything is back to normal operation.
  21. Bob and Camille: Enjoy your new Oliver, it is a great trailer. Safe travels.
  22. Bill: I am glad it worked out for you with just listing the songs without other details. It has worked in our Oliver without any issues.
  23. Randy and April: Thank you for the reply, the picture was taken on September 2, 2015 by Anita at Falls Hollow Campground of our trailer. The reason I know is look at the left side of the bike rack mounting, there is a lock on the rear mounting pin; and there is a piece of card board around part of the lock that I put there to keep the lock from marking the aluminum. The card board was changed the next day with something other than card board.
  24. Hello: Randy and April, Welcome to the Oliver Forum, we know you will really enjoy your Oliver. We picked up our 2015 Elite II on September 2, 2015. I noticed in your pictures it appears you purchased the bike rack with your trailer. Do you have any pictures of the rear of the trailer and a close up of the receiver on the bike rack? The reason I am asking we were the first trailer to have the bike rack installed and I am not pleased with the receiver itself. The receiver on our trailer on measures 3 3/4" long and is rated for 150 lbs; and most receivers I have measured on vehicles was 6" long. Hopefully Oliver has done some up grade on their bike rack.
  25. Topgun2: Let me you what you find when you have the chance to check out your system. I am not sure what your file name extensions are for your music but the file extension name for my music is “wma”. Good luck.
