  1. I’m starting to think about and plan a Route 66 trip. Does anyone have Route 66 experience or have any advice? We’ve done a lot of I-40 but never took the time to deviate on to the old highway where it still exists. Any recommendations for maps/guides? Mike
  2. Congrats and welcome to the group. Look forward to meeting you at a rally!
  3. under 100 degrees
  4. Anita was our sales person in 2015.
  5. Is this for real?
  6. I’m not. I sold the Andersen Hitch 4 years ago when I got the 2500. I used the Andersen for almost 5 years with the half tons. Mike
  7. I have the Husky from Home Depot. Nice size and thickness. It’s usually on sale around Christmas.
  8. I learned it from a Casita owner….
  9. Maybe I can glue some astroturf to the inside of the door. Or, use some of the rat fur that’s inside a Casita? We’ll probably just live with it. Mike
  10. That’s a good point, I wonder if a change in the door was made after 2010. We’ve got a number of horizontal cracks in our 2016. Mike
  11. Happy Thanksgiving, all! Got the turkey on the smoker early this morning. Expecting a house full by noon. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Mike and Carol
  12. Looks like it might be @Patriot?
  13. I’ve got horizontal cracks all up and down the inside of the door. No separation yet. It’s mostly cosmetic and we’re living with it for now. Mike
  14. Mine is zip tied to the tongue so it doesn’t hang down.
  15. Nice mod and great write up! Thanks! Mike
  16. We have a round rug that fits in the square bathroom floor. It stays there until shower time and then, like others do, it becomes a bath mat during showers for when you step out of the bathroom. We’ve never seen the need for the fancy teak floor coverings. They do look cool but seem like a bit of extra work. Mike
  17. We’ve been to Lost Dutchman many times. Probably once in that site!!
  18. Welcome, Richard and Jane! Hope you can make it to a rally and meet fellow owners. Mike
  19. There is also one going into the black tank flush.
  20. I had the same thing happen a few years ago and posted about it then. One wire on the trailer side of the connection was loose. Melted both sides of the connection. Replaced both the outlet and the power cord. You can access the outlet from under the dinette. Not something I ever thought to check.
  21. Two of my favorites!
  22. Agree. If he added “when stopped” it would be accurate. Our Audi SQ5 shuts off the engine whenever we stop. I can override it, which I usually do because I find it annoying and don’t like the short lag when it starts back up after the traffic light turns green.
  23. Same here. Maybe a Christmas gift? I still think they’re cool.
  24. I just checked the Apple App Store and it is no longer there. It is no longer supported or updated but still works. I guess I need to stop recommending it!! Here’s my RV folder. UC is first in the second row and UC Military is bottom right.
  25. I check my gain on a regular basis, a habit I got in to with the smaller half ton trucks I towed my Oliver with. The last 4 years with our 2500, the big 6.7L Cummins does most of the braking.
