  1. Bill, I will do that! Look for it next week.....
  2. Great photo's everyone, especially the Outlaw Oliver at White Sands. Maybe we should start a "Where's Ollie?" thread for folks to post pictures of their Ollie at some of their favorite camping and travel locations. I can't do it because mine is sitting in the Oliver Sales Office waiting for us to get there Monday!
  3. Going by Monday afternoon will give us some time to spend in/around our trailer. I'm sure Anita will take care of us Tuesday, we don't expect much attention Monday. We are staying in Hohenwald an extra night so we will run up the parkway to experience the waterfall! We will have iPhone's at the ready so we should have some good photos. Thanks for the great advice!
  4. Did the Oliver Owner's Group ever get off the ground? Mike
  5. We're looking forward to picking up next week, but looking forward to the trip home more! Will post as we go.
  6. Great work on the forums, Matt. We will be there early next week. Hope to meet all the new folks in the office. Mike
  7. Our pick up is next Tuesday. We leave on Sunday and will arrive in Hohenwald early Monday afternoon. Staying at Fall Hallow Monday night. Thought we'd go by Monday afternoon to see our trailer and all the Oliver folks. I'm thinking we might video some of the orientation, did anyone do that and was it beneficial? Our trip to the factory is a day and a half, our trip home will be 10 days: Hohenwald - Land Between the Lakes - Table Rock Lake State Park/Branson - Crater of Diamonds State Park AR - Mother Neff State Park TX - home. Should be a good break-in trip! Any pick-up tips or advice? Mike
  8. Wow, that's a 1,000 pound difference. I was thinking ours would come in around 5,100 lb's with the options we ordered. Will find out in two weeks!
  9. I see Hull #136 - we are #135 so it must've been in there somewhere! Good pics, thanks. Mike
  10. Yes, this is better!
  11. Hey Vector, welcome! When do you pick up? We will be in Hohenwald May 10 getting ours. I'll be towing with a 2012 Tacoma, probably the bare minimum. You'll get several opinions on tow vehicles. I agree with more is better but I've only got 90K miles on my Tacoma so it is just getting broken in. Will let everyone know how it goes after our 2 week meander back to San Antonio. Mike
  12. Glad you got this resolved so fast and had experienced Oliver owners help. It probably could have been worse and makes the case for a good surge protector. Glad you're back in business!!
  13. I don't see ours. There must be even more!
  14. C'mon you Ollie owners. Let's break the Cherokee record which was five Ollies. We just need two more. We pick up on May 10, but will be heading the opposite direction back home. Unfortunately, retirement doesn't start for another 2 months! Maybe next year....
  15. Yes, thanks for the great pictures!
  16. Gary, agree 100%. Pete serves up a great meal and follows with some wonderful flute. I still don't understand how the secret ice cream tasted so good, but it did! The Oliver information on this forum has been invaluable to us as we get ready to pick up our trailer. Mike
  17. Dale, If you are looking at a new Tacoma, the article in this month's Trailer Life Magazine has a pretty good write up of a 2016 Tacoma pulling a big Oliver. I have a 2nd Gen Tacoma to pull my big Oliver. It has 90K miles on it so it is barely broken in. I do have the factory supercharger which bumps HP over 300 and torque over 320. I pick up in about a month and will post my towing experiences on our two week trip home. Mike
  18. Bill, thanks. It's good to know what to expect. The idea of a fault code card is a good one. Mike
  19. I guess I need to check the Oliver web site more often..... I checked it this morning and noticed some new options being offered. A couple of them got my attention. One was a tankless hot water option and the other was a surge protector. I emailed Anita to see if I could add the surge protector (we pick up on May 10). It looked a lot like what Steve Landrum installed in the Outlaw Oliver and seems like a better solution than one that plugs into the camp ground outlet outside. Another reason to like Oliver - they are always improving and enhancing!
  20. We pick up on May 10, so we might see you in Hohenwald!
  21. Thanks Bill. I looked on Amazon and the standard size of those tiles is 12"X12" so I think it is safe to assume that 24"X24" is about right. Mike
  22. What are the measurements for the bathroom floor. Looks like the four panels work out to about 24"X24"?
  23. A trip to Alaska sounds fun, but May is a little early for us. We will be interested how the trip goes!
  24. I picked up a copy today. The article on the Elite II is very favorable with the only criticism being the all white FG interior, which was qualified as being a subjective criticism. I was interested in the towing thoughts for the Tacoma. They towed without the Andersen WDH and said there was plenty of power and that the trailer towed like a dream and tracked beautifully. All good news! It's nice to see an Oliver on the cover.
  25. Good article, have been thinking about doing this. Thanks!
