  1. 2 days after picking up our 2022, Hull #1045, while camped at David Crockett State Park, we were plugged into shore power. I pulled up the phone app for Lithonics to check our batteries. They were down to 70%+/-. We were plugged into shore power at Oliver and at David Crockett. We confirmed there was shore power. Call Oliver and they had me check the inverter breaker located on the front wall, street side. It is right next to the actual inverter, which should be off. The breaker had tripped and there was no charging of the batteries. I reset the breaker and we were good. This happened twice more on another trip, and a new breaker was awaiting our arrival home. So with the breaker tripped, there was no charging of the batteries. Check your inverter breaker.
  2. Thanks This actually gives me some options when and if we need to move to the compressor fridge. I actually asked Phil back in October, 2021 if we could get a compressor fridge in our 2022 and the answer was no. Funny how that changed for the 2023 models.
  3. I get it now, and actually think your thought process is spot on. Totally reverses my previous comment.👍
  4. How are you venting the backside of your compressor fridge. While you don't need two vents with the compressor fridge like you did with the Absorbtion fridge, you still need to vent the backside of the fridge. Every truck camper I have owned, with a compressor fridge needed to vent the backside. I had to add a computer fan on the backside to pull hot air out of the space behind the fridge, especially during hot whether. IMO you are going to make that fridge work overtime. I think you are making a mistake. Curious to your reasoning. The only thing I can think of is venting warm air into the trailer in cold weather. In warmer weather I would want the heat venting outside.
  5. Both our phones have the Lithonics phone app and we have checked the batteries from both phones, not at the same time.
  6. As far as our tow vehicle 2013 F250, back in 2014 I had a Ravelco anti-theft system installed. As of a year ago they had never had a vehicle stolen. They can't hot wire, or start the truck unless the Ravelco FOB is plugged in. Back then I paid around $400. They are headquartered in Houston and have install dealers across the country. They would have to pull the truck onto a flatbed. Our 2019 Ford Edge is a different story. We keep our keys in the house on the table or on my wife's purse, and may get a metal box, or just wrap them in foil. As far as push button starts, not sure whether Ravelco can install in these late model vehicles. I will be following this.
  7. Wow! Very interesting since we have had AAA for 50+ years. When I switched to Plus RV I was assured AAA would have 2 tow trucks dispatched. Need to reavaluate.
  8. I was a member of Good Sam, but didn't have the travel coverage. I dropped my membership, because I got tired of having their travel coverage slammed down my throat to the tune of emails to join every 2-3 days. The shopping discounts stopped being worth it. The reviews turned me off. I have been a long time AAA member so we shall see.
  9. Mark, the one major thing that is the most critical with AGM batteries is that you never allow them to go below 12.2. All it takes is one time to damage or ruin them. Solar is a big help, and you should get A battery charging via the truck alternator when driving. It would also be good to have a generator, if you are boondocking. I got 5 years out of my AGM's on my Truck Camper and did things by the book. When I stored the truck camper it was covered and the battery cut-off turned off. There are parasitic draws, so I eliminated that. Every 6 weeks I took a portable solar panel over and plugged it in. 6 weeks later, batteries were at 12.6. If boondocking in cold weather and you let your batteries get too low, your furnace will shut down. AGM's aren't forgiving, so never let them get below 50%. I used 12.3 as my safety bottom line. Hope this helps.
  10. We carry AAA Hoosier Motor Club "Plus RV". We have been very lucky, knock on wood, and never had to use either USAA (when we had that coverage) or now. I'm sure it will catch up with me down the road.

  12. Nice. With our 8' bed I rarely need extra space. The only time I get cramped for space is when we camp somewhere longer than 5-6 days and don't want to hook up and go to the dump. We load the turd wagon in the bed for the trip. Our turd wagon takes up more space than I like.
  13. Chris Neuhaus, Stephen Cobb, and Marla King all have lockable boxes on the rear. Still need to remain under 150lbs.
  14. How true. Submitting a ticket is key to getting a quick response. Way too many people call, never get anyone, and then say Oliver is unresponsive. 1,500 trailers and 3 people that can provide technical support, Jason, Mike, & Hannah. They aren't sitting by the phone waiting for an Owners call. We just pinned a post on Facebook reminding people to submit a ticket request.
  15. Nope. I have to replace batteries twice a year. In fact a couple weeks ago we went to check on the trailer. I got in OK, but the batteries died and had to use the key to lock it. Have it on our list when we bring it home to load up.
  16. We just keep it simple and that has worked well for us. On day one, the 2 soft boxes from our truck camper (our pantry) didn't even fill a third of the lower area of the pantry. We both cracked up laughing. She packs the pantry according to each trip and length. Closet has plastic boxes on the bottom with a Goal Zero 400 Lithium power pack. The shelves have some plastic storage boxes, dehumidifier, all cube heater, First aid kit. 2-attoc areas over dinette have my clothes. Attic over street side bed has blankets, hammock. Attic over curb side bed wife's clothes. 2-attic areas over sink and stove have pots, pans, plates stored in wicker baskets or just in the attic. Rear attic above tv is a back pack, coaxial cable for tv and extra space. Truck bed packed based on trip location and length.
  17. Before you call, your best and quickest way to get an answer from Oliver is to submit a ticket at: support@olivertraveltrailers.com You will get an immediate email back with a ticket #, followed by a response. We have purchased several items through Oliver and pricing wasn't out of line.
  18. 3-step Little Giant with flip up hand rail support. A combination of using a broom lightly on the underside and my snow brush to get everything down to the lip and brush off in both directions. I hose to spray off, and soapy water. Never looked at it as a issue. Many times we won't deploy. We have a shelter we can put up also.
  19. Thanks for sharing. My sister-in-law, in La Marque, TX has the Genrac.
  20. Our Jolli Olli is our first travel trailer. 2 year anniversary is approaching and we couldn't be happier. Came from a pop-up truck camper, and the Olli interior is perfect for us and our lab
  21. Our 2022 E2 doesn't put out much noticeable heat in the bathroom. I had to go under the sink for something else and found no kinks. I think the lack of airflow (heat) is related to the long distance from furnace to bathroom vent. We have the same thing in a bedroom and bathroom furthest from the furnace at home.
  22. The post on Facebook was an E3H, so different. I googled, but am not finding a description for E5H, so you would want to check the manual.
  23. Someone just posted with this on Facebook. I believe they turned it off inside and then outsides, waited a couple of minutes. Turned it on outside, for the green light, and turned it on inside. I will look for the post.
