  1. Happy New Year's everyone
  2. As Rich said, just need a 1/2" hex tool to tighten.
  3. Awesome. Merry Christmas
  4. I went back toy charger and it is the regular USB, which will plug in just fine. This must have been a brain fart on my part. Not sure how I was thinking there was a "C" end.🙃
  5. I just got hear aids and hoping someone can share their charging experience in their Oliver. Just purchased Oticon hearing aids. When plugged into shore Power, I can plug into 110. I can also use USB. The charging manual says to ensure that the power source is USB 2.0 compliant, with a minimum of 500mA output. The USB cord has the oval end. I don't have access to our Oliver right now to see what the USB looks like. Wonder if Oliver installs the new oval plug or the older that has a longer bottom leg with shorter upper leg. Worst case, I'm guessing I can purchase a 12-volt plug, that has the newer USB plug on the the end. Any advise would be appreciated.
  6. Congrats Max. Being a grand parent never gets old. This Christmas will be very special.
  7. Thanks Steve Intend on filing this away, hopefully for a long time. Hope our Xantrex will function for years to come.
  8. Forgot about the microwave framing and drawer framing. All protected.
  9. Rodney shared with me yesterday that they replaced the bathroom door with a more solid door. Not sure whether they made the doors in house or out sourced. He said the door had been discussed for sometime. Also not sure what the actual construction of the old door was and what the construction is for the new door. That's all I know.
  10. Correct on Foy. Not sure about wood elsewhere, except drawers. At least I haven't found any while doing inspection and maintenance. Oliver has a new bathroom door in the 2024's, which is a big improvement. They are using some composites for things like the pantry door, and access panels under the bed and dinette seats, but no wood in any composite products. Need to talk my wife into some of Foys custom work😊
  11. Today Oliver posted on their Facebook page with 2 E-2's heading out on a flatbed for the Georgia Dealer I believe. Great photo with most of the employees. Then a former Oliver employee trashed Oliver and told people that there was all types of wood in the Oliver. Wood drawer covers, wood battery door, wood pantry door. Wood walls (front bulkhead wall, and more. It was a rabid dog foaming at the mouth. Claims her Mom said they were replacing rotted wood. Oliver deleted the comments. Like being on a bronco at the rodeo. People are down right nasty.
  12. It maybe up, but I haven't seen deposits from showings in October. Both showings are listed, but no funds🙃
  13. The rear axle is for the super charger😎
  14. I beeped half way through🤣
  15. Think I got it. It showed up above.🤞
  16. Thanks, I wondered. Probably going to have to have someone help me. My map is in limbo somewhere 🙃
  17. Always been wondering if I'm supposed to be able to see my map on posts, or whether it is just visible to others. Second, I would like to add some states and the Canadian Provinces map. I don't want to wipe out the existing map Thanks
  18. We have the Tochta and have been very happy with the mattress. We bought a fitted cover withe the radius, can't remember from where.
  19. Pessimistic thoughts are like cancer. Spouting statements that have no validity do not help. Oliver has a business plan to make them a force for years to come. Instead of stirring the pot with negative comments, it might be a good idea to have all the facts first. This site is a little more open minded, but comments here and especially on Oliver Facebook, come across like the sky is falling. "Oliver will be another Thor, and this will be the end of Oliver". Oliver isn't going to just set up repair centers and spend the money to train personnel. It has to be a win-win-win for Oliver, RV Dealership, and Oliver Owners (Future Owners). There has to be something in it for the RV Dealership and that is having Oliver's on their lots for sale. Someone in Washington State can go to Portland, OR (or wherever the RV Dealership is located) instead of driving 1,500+ mile to Hohenwald Remember, any Oliver Owner or Future Owner can go to Hohenwald to purchase or have service work done. Things will continue for those that prefer the Mothership. Oliver needs our support. We need to let this play out. As locations come on board, and Oliver shares the sales part, and how the repair work will be implemented, we will get a true understanding of the entire plan. We need to stop with negativity and spewing false comments. As I mentioned earlier this site has been a little more restrained. I personally think this is a win-win for Oliver Owners and Future Owners In the meantime Happy Camping.
  20. Congrats. The first one is always special. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
  21. Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed the ride along through your pictures.
  22. Never had that problem with either RV Antifreeze or DryRid when storing. If you have any kind of air freshener or diodorizer in the trailer they will set it off.
  23. You are correct about the technology. I was thinking back to my truck camper days, where there was a flexible panel that got fried. There was a lot said about air flow. If the mfg. is calling for adhering to the roof surface then they would have tested. I stand corrected🙃
  24. Solar panels need to have space between the roof and bottom of the solar panel to allow air flow. Flexible panels will not last if they are adhered directly to the roof. Not only did people have panels fail prematurely, the 3M adhesive made it almost impossible to remove the panel and many had extensive damage to their RV roof. I would consult the panel mfg. to make sure adhering directly to the surface is an approved method.
