Yes, There are many states that have one or more parks that don't have hook-ups. It is very easy to check on their websites. We have camped at Grand Isle SP, Stowe ( SP name escapes me), and Middlebury SP.

Anyone replace Norcold fridge with Isotherm?

That is probably the best and safest way to go. I wasn't clear with my comment.🙃 -
Anyone replace Norcold fridge with Isotherm?
John Dorrer replied to Kathy Tewart's topic in General Discussion
Kathy, I would think the swap would be fairly easy. The big things would be capping the propane line, wiring for AC/DC, insulating, and covering one or both vents on the backside of the vent. I would look very closely at the drawer fridge/freeze. Not sure who makes it, but being a lento open it without loosing all the cold like the current fridge do when you open it. -
Dave, If the trailer is going to be in storage warehouse for over 3 weeks I plug it in and leave it. Less than 3 weeks I just leave it unplugged. When would go get it and pull up the Lithonics app, the State of Charge was all over the place for each battery. 95%, 87%, and 83%. I reached out to Oliver and Mike said if the warehouse Bay doors are open the panels will pick up a little and suggested, I turn off the solar. Next time I turned off the solar the battery State of Charge was close between the 3 batteries. This stuff is way over my pay grade.

Sun Shade awnings that attach to extisting oliver awning
John Dorrer replied to MarkC's topic in General Discussion
I have hesitated for the reasons stated. Someone bought off Amazon and it wouldn't stay in the groove. If you are going to do this reach out to Girard, and place the order through them. No returns so use their measurement tables and get it from them We have a small Clam. I look at this as high risk, low reward. For that reason we won't be purchasing one. -
An update on the required documents. There is an online document you must submit, including attaching a photo of your dog. The documents must include the dates of travel and should be submitted just prior to your trip. Then there is a document that must be filled out by your vet and you need to have that document when you cross back into the US. The document must include the micro-chip # and the rabies vaccination # and must have an ink signature by your vet.

Thanks. Hopefully they will confirm 😊

Effective 8/1/2024 there are new pet requirements. There are now documents that must be filled out by your vet. The problem isn't going into Canada, it is coming back into the US. The US will not allow your dog back into the US for twenty-five days without the required documents. Review the documents and have your vet familiar with them.

So would the 9/16 equate to 3" axel? -
2022 LE2, Xantrex 3000, Lithonics batteries. Back at the end of May I discovered the inverter mounting board had pulled away from wall. I removed old adhesive and rubbed everything with alcohol. I applied the suggested Gorilla Adhesive. I wedged the inverter back against the wall and left it like that for a week. Success. However, in the process I must have hit the button for the inverter. A year ago, while on the phone with Oliver, and seeing the main inverter screen was lit. Oliver it should be off. I pushed the button on, and the button lit up. The screen was off. Should the button be lit? Also, I'm plugged in at the storage place, and when I checked the batteries, they were at 100% SOC and I opened the phone app for the inverter and all was well there. I just didn't remember the inverter on/off button being lit up, but then I would think it would need to for the remote to work. Comments appreciated. Want to make sure I have it right. Thanks, John

Within 5 minutes of texting Dexter with a screen shot of the axel label, I got a text and an e-mail with the document attached. Wow! Thanks for the suggestion. -

Our trailer is a 2022, picked up on 3/10/22, with the Easy-Flex. I would assume ours is the same, but I will confirm. -

We have a 2022, so I'm keeping a close look on our springs. When we do switch it will be to Alcan. Somewhere I read that we need to supply the axel diameter to Alcan. Can someone confirm this Can Oliver confirm the diameter or do I just take a string and then measure. What has everyone done? Thanks. -

In the past week there have been four (4) reported spring failures. The trailer years might not be exact, but if I remember correctly 2015, 2019(2), and a 2021. That's a lot in a short period of time. -
Where do people get their torque wrenches calibrated? I have read they should be calibrated every year I have had no luck finding a place near me. Searches end up the wrench to be shipped to them. Hoping there is a nationwide company people use that is in the Indianapolis area.

Thinking you could wire to the street side awning switch, if you don't have the street side awning.

Xantrex Inverter Issues? Try a Hard Reboot
John Dorrer replied to Rivernerd's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
Thank You. We had a bad inverter breaker 2 days after pick-up. Mike hade reset it and all was good until 2 months later. The breaker tripped again and they sent me a replacement. All has been good and I have used our microwave on the inverter I will file this away. Did you also turn off solar and the inverter prior to disconnecting? -
We camped at the South NP campground. The visitor Centre is there, access to the bottom of the canyon is also there. Beautiful campground and Loop B has electric. Access to Montrose is very close. If I remember the North campground and park access is off the beaten path. I chose South over North based on several recommendations, so I can't compare one to the other

Isotherm Refrigerator - What are we doing wrong?
John Dorrer replied to DunnYet's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
Our upper vent (2022 LE2) had a slot and a mobile RV guy said it should be sealed and he fixed it, and I confirmed with Oliver. The fan would be installed right on the backside of the Oliver cover. Don't have our trailer at home, so I can't check it. If you only have one awning, there is a switch for a street side awning that could be used for the fan (s).
