  1. My Ollie is due is August. I am getting nervous about finding spots as we roam around.
  2. I never thought about people speculating and reselling camp sites. People sure are resourceful. Do other states have laws like this? I guess I can see giving state residents first shot at camp sites if the state subsidies the cost and keeps them below true market value. Floridians can expect to get a jump on everyone else reserving time in state parks now that HB 109 has been signed into law. The law came about because of complaints that third parties took up reservations once the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) opened up those times. It passed both chambers of the Legislature without a dissenting vote. The system presently allows for making reservations 11 months in advance. The legislation directs DEP’s Division of Recreation and Parks to open up reservations for Florida residents 11 months in advance and, for nonresidents, 10 months in advance. https://floridapolitics.com/archives/611771-floridians-get-first-choice-as-governor-signs-state-park-reservation-bill/
  3. Is my truck. I am posting a picture I took with my iPhone.
  4. Does anyone have the rock guards on a Duramax? Looking at the pics posted it looks like my exhaust pipe is obstructing where the guards would go. It looks like my exhaust would blow right in front of these Rock Tamers
  5. I see the picture fine. I take delivery of an E II in August. I have a 2015 Duramax. I am in NE Arkansas.
  6. How many of you have rock guards on your tow vehicle? We live on a gravel rod, and I expect we will travel on gravel in our search for adventure. I have this now. Is that enough? Or, do I need something more robust like this?
  7. Love this thread.
  8. Too funny. My wife showed the red "Jelly Bean" to me this morning on FB
  9. Great idea! Ollie should rally in the four corners of the US.
  10. I read this article this morning and thought it would be good to share with the group. Eighteen parks broke annual visitation records in 2021, according to National Park Service data. One — Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas — saw record visitors last year. Overall visits to national parks jumped by 5% in 2022 versus the year prior, to 312 million recreation visits. Some of the most heavily trafficked parks have instituted advance reservation systems to address congestion in popular hikes and roads. A few require reservations for full park access. They include: Acadia, Arches, Glacier, Haleakalā, Rocky Mountain, Yosemite and Zion National Parks. The free permits and reservations generally come with a processing fee of $2 and up. https://www.cnbc.com/2023/05/10/national-park-trips-you-may-need-advance-reservations-and-permits.html
  11. Winnebago may give Lithionics access to much needed capital for future expansion. Lithionics is a tiny little fish in the big pond of Li battery makers.
  12. I don't know what to do with this statement, "the batteries and/or the battery charger have a charge current limit setting. So they typically do not allow that high of a charge current." You helped reinforce my self professed ignorance on this subject. I like this much mo better! At 14.25 volts it is an estimated charge time: 1.5 hours
  13. I found this handy site It says it would take a 2,000 Watt generator 12 hours to charge the batteries to 100%. https://footprinthero.com/battery-charge-time-calculator
  14. I would most likely go with Honda if it was dual fuel.
  15. Honda is expensive. I have owned a lot of Honda products. All were best in class. I just want a small generator to top off the batteries as needed, like @Frank C Two things come into play for me. 1. Weight 2. Dual Fuel This is my #1 contender @ $700
  16. Do you know the capabilities of the onboard charger that comes with the 2023 Lithium Pro package?
  17. How could the generator go through the same (or maybe an altogether different) charge controller as the solar panels? I would like to see the generator charge the batteries as fast as it could. It is my understanding that lithium can take a very fast charge.
  18. Wow. Stories like that make me proud to be human, and soon, a fellow Oliver traveler. To those that work at Oliver - Take your time. 🧡 I can wait. Do the job we all know you are capable of.
  19. That's it! A little different, but that IS it. Thanks
