  2. So noted
  3. Pickup truck sales in the U.S. in the 1st quarter of 2022 and 2023, by model(in units)
  4. Sorted by make, series & fuel type - Let me know if you want another view of the data - I will keep adding to the data as long as people want to share their info.
  5. I sorted by hull to make verification easier. Let me know
  6. So Far... 14 Fords 4 GMs 3 Rams 2 Toyotas I will do more slicing later
  7. No worries. I will keep adding folks all along. I will slice and dice once most folks verify what I have.
  8. A couple snuck in
  9. Here is what I have so far. Correct anything I got wrong. I had some trouble with abbreviations or the TV coding.
  10. I assume that is a 3500
  11. I know most of us have our tow vehicle listed in our signature. If you do then just make a post and I will record it.
  12. I have seen the questions many times here on our forum asking if this or that is a good tow vehicle. I would like to compile and publish a list on our forum regarding our respective tow vehicles. I admit I am doing this for selfish reasons as I may be in the market for a new tow vehicle and would consider those mentioned most here when I go to buy. Thanks
  13. My sales tax was almost $8,000.
  14. The wet bath was the thing that kept me walking away from Oliver. We were very close to purchasing an Airstream with a dry bath, but the better quality of the Oliver was worth not getting a dry bath. My thinking is a larger unit would put Oliver squarely in Airstream territory with a much better product.
  15. Amen brother
  16. A 30' AS Flying Could weighs 6,600 pounds. My back of the envelope calculations puts a 30' Oliver at approximately 6,300 pounds. A 30' AS Flying Cloud starts at $127,500. Another back of the envelope calculation puts a 30' Oliver starting at about $97,000.
  17. You would need to generate somewhere north of $20 million in sales per year to justify a $3 million capital investment with a net margin of 15%.
  18. I have to think this has been many a campfire conversations between Oliver owners. Is there a practical size limit of a trailer constructed in the manner of our Oliver? Could Oliver build a 30' trailer? The Airstream Flying Cloud 23 FB weighs about the same as a Legacy Elite II.
  19. My wife says if you are in the trailer you ain't doing it right. I too hate that term "glamping". Hate it, hate it, hate it.
  20. I just went through a nightmare using a third party to do Oliver warranty work. No way will I do that again.
  21. I worked at a manufacture that sold exclusively through dealers. We carried floor inventory for the dealers. Like a bank, we charged them for it. We also did cooperative advertising that helped the dealer promote our product, and their sales.
  22. Not me. I am haggle man extraordinaire. I simply saw Oliver as the best value.
  23. Do you know that Oliver is not carrying that 80%?
  24. It is possible that the factory sells to the dealer at a wholesale price. Both the dealer and the factory sell to us at a retail price. It might be the factory policy to not haggle. The new channel is called "dealers" for a reason.
  25. Thanks for that plumbing drawing. What manual is it in?
