Can you let us in on the joke?
-
I wish Phil all the luck and success, but I hate to see him go. It is a great loss to all of us.
-
That looks great.

Great thread. I am new to all this and am very interested in hearing veteran stories.

It is a ritual. I go slow. I have learned exactly when to remove the heat. It makes two perfect cups, or at least to perfect as I have come to coffee. I have a friend with some fancy $1,000 rig that makes the best coffee I have had. I can't commit to something like that even at home. Our home pot makes good coffee, but the Moka pot is mo' betta.

We love coffee and we love our Oliver coffee. I know you said you did not want one of these but we love ours.

Thank you. Are they far enough along to announce prices?

I just ordered that. I suspect NG and RM are both good, but I picked the NG.

I had not heard of Benchmark Atlas before. I looked them up on Amazon. I expect they would be good, but at $25 a state that could add up. What makes them so expensive?

I keep stuff for a long time.

I never trade anything in. I always sell outright

Why would an Oliver owner use a dealer to sell their trailer? Use of the forum made sense. RV Trader and other sales tools makes sense, but I don't see using a dealer except to trade it in.
-
First, we know Oliver intends to push new trailer sales through a dealer network. Now we find out Oliver is now trying to push sales of used trailers off the forum and into their upcoming dealer network. The logical next step to me is that Oliver would want to also push service to the dealer network.

I use a number of forums and ad block works on them all. https://getadblock.com/en/
-
That seems to contradict the signal we get by disallowing sales of used Oliver's on the forum.
-
Will Oliver start deemphasizing service from Hohenwald to push owners to use dealers?
-
Good for Oliver. Bad for Oliver customers. The Thor model.

Wow! I almost ordered a flamingo.

Leave Black Tank Drain Valve Open When Flushing!
HDRider replied to Rivernerd's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
That is how we do it. Then we add a little Calgon and Pine-Sol to the toilet and flush a couple of times to let that work on the tank using the bumpy road travel to loosen anything and everything. I have found the roads around Lafayette Louisiana very good for this process. 🤣 -
You must live under a lucky star. We can never get a spot in Bull Shoals.
-
I am very familiar with the feeling. We took delivery in August. Welcome aboard!

Part of my consternation is related to the fact I washed a big chuck of plastic out of my gray tank the second time I drained it. That has me wondering if a cutout is floating around in the FW tank wreaking havoc with my meter. I would not have left the pump on if the FW ran out, but it said 19% so I was still using it. I pay attention to stuff, and expect the meter to be accurate. The joys of the burn in period.
