When did Oliver begin the manufacture of the Legacy Elite ll ?

I believe they started production of the LE2 before the shutdown in 2008.  @ScubaRx or @bugeyedriver will know for sure.  Mike

Yes, it's technically a 2010, though it was originally sold in August of 2009. 

It was the first LE2 sold as well as the last unit sold before the hiatus. Pretty sure it's the only one titled as a 2010, too.

They began production again in 2014. Surprised there was an E2 as far back as 2010 though, don't recall ever hearing about that one.

First time we had the pleasure to see a LE1 at Mt. Pisgah Campground on the Blue Ridge Parkway was during the production shutdown.

We definitely wanted an Ollie after the owners gave us a tour, bought our 2015 #75 LE2 used from the original owners during 2016.

I think Steve & Tali Landrum received the initial LE2 not long before the industrywide RV downturn and nationwide closure of RV manufacturing plants .  Steve may have even had input with some ideas on the design.  

One of the greatest things about the Oliver family is how they treat their employees.  Unlike most other manufacturers, who laid off employees at large, Oliver offered every worker a position within one of their other Hohenwald, TN manufacturing plants.  Nobody had to lose their job.  They kept them gainfully employed, and when the market warranted a return to the RV production line, they already had a skilled workforce ready to resume creating the best trailer out there.

Pretty sure Steve bought the very first LE2 after the hiatus with the four units between our hull 45 and his hull 50 all being LE's.

For what its worth - 

Jim Oliver's hull #1 is currently sitting outside the Oliver Sales/Service building in Hohenwald right in line with a bunch of other Ollies.  

Mr. Oliver's #1 is easily picked out because it doesn't have a rear window, how "diamond plate" "boxes" under the frame that were used for additional storage, has a satellite dome on the roof, has "square" porch lights (these were on both the Legacy I's and II's until early 2016.

If you are in Hohenwald, be sure to ask to take a tour of this Ollie - the interior has many other "different" features.
