John E Davies
FYI about that outside switch, it a poor design in that it is completely unsealed, mine froze in the ON position, locked solid. I have a replacement on order. It too is “backwards” from USA standards, the on position is down. And it is $8 for what should be a $2 component, perhaps because of its unique design. I am going to mount the new switch upside down so ON is up. Any reason I shouldn’t? NICE! We also had one in both of our AS's and also in our 2019 Casita - a convenient touch, IMO. It was backward. Being a poor college kid, I found a switch the same size that was not. Mounted it upside down and used some black shoe polish to "Erase" the upside down on/off lettering. Cost me 50 cents. I was shocked at the price as for 50 cents I could buy almost two gallons of leaded gas! 1 2 TV: 2019 F-150 SuperCrew Lariat, 3.5L EcoBoost, 10 Speed Trany, Max Tow, FX-4, Rear Locker OLLIE: 2018 OE2 Hull 342, Twin Bed. On our other trailers I just flipped the water heater circuit breaker off when the tank was empty, to prevent that mishap. But here's a thought: on our 2022 the water heater and fridge are on the same 20A breaker. So, we couldn't do that with this trailer. Stephanie and Dudley from CT. 2022 LE2, Hull #1150: Eggcelsior. ShallowGal
FWIW, we keep a bright colored magnet attached to the outside of the water heater cover to visually remind us that it is ON. Then, obviously, move it to inside of cover when water heater is turned off. 3 Chris & Duke Chadwell 🐾Maddie & Baxter🐾 Elite II Hull 292 2022 F-250 Lariat 7.3 Godzilla 4x4 Lakeland,FL
