white mounting material

I have been searching the forums for a couple of hours trying to figure out were to get the white material the Oliver uses to mount electronic equipment in the bays.

Any help?

Most boat parts/supply shops carry the material.  You can also find it on Amazon.
 

Marine Board HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) 

 

Marine Board is known under many different monikers, such as Marine Grade HDPE, Sea Board, Star Board, Marine Plywood, and Marine Lumber. Despite having numerous names, all forms of Marine Board are made of specially treated high density polyethylene, or HDPE.

HDPE "Marine Board" is good for some things, PVC "Foam Board" is good for other things...

Many of us DYIers use wallmart poly cutting boards and cut them to the desired size.  Cheap and easily found.  I recommend buying their thicker ones.  Also I JB Weld it in place with thru wall SS bolts with fender washers.

Also available from Amazon if, like us, you live a 1+ hour drive from the nearest Walmart.  The one linked below is 1/2" thick, the size I prefer to work with.

I have purchased that board as well.  I also like the extra thickness.

Key points are using a strong mounting board and well securing it..... especially for the very heavy 3000 watt inverter.
