January 5 2018 I bought my Oliver for work. I live and work from the Oliver 3 to 7 days a week. February 2018 a horrible smell develop, and I discovered a small leak from the joint at the connection next to the black tank; just a drip. Called Rich and Phil about my problem, and they said they would call me back. When they called back, Rich and Mr. Oliver where on speaker phone, and said "How can we make this right?". I said "I want this fixed with the least inconvenience for me as possible". Rich said "We can bring you an Oliver to live-in while we fix yours, or put you up in a local hotel until we can get yours back to you". I realized at that moment why I bought an Oliver. 1 year 5 months, 10 years to go. Dr. Donald C. Neal with no mechanical skills what so ever.1 point

Mav - Yes, mine has always been mounted in the spare tire cover. I did a post on this Forum about it but at the moment I'm running to a dentist appt - if you can't find it I'll have to look for it later. For the cost (about $250 complete) it is good. The only "bad" thing is that on rainy days it gets more road spray than a camera mounted higher would. I also assume that the resolution on the camera sold by Oliver is better. But, my resolution is fine (both day and night) for seeing things that I need to see - trees, rocks, picnic tables, kids, etc - I just have a hard time reading bumper stickers and license plates. Congratulations on your new to you Oliver. If you have not seen it already, the is a Oliver University tab that has most all of the manuals for your trailer. Click the label "Travel Trailers" on the main page of the Oliver website. That will open a list of topics and the “Oliver University” label is at the bottom. There you can find the manuals. Good Luck at keep asking for help, there is usually someone available to help. Mike1 point

John, Would like to see your photos, too. Been thinking about if I mounted the solar inlet on the battery compartment door, could also strengthen the interior of the door around the inlet with fiberglass, if needed. We had the pleasure of camping at Valley of Fire SP NV last October. Will be camping there next time passing through the area, too. Had occasional water in the shower pan during the last camping trip. Found a 1/2" crack in the bath vent exterior dome cap located where one of the two screws secures the cap, it did not leak during every storm. Have a new one on order from Etrailer. https://www.etrailer.com/RV_Vents_and_Fans/Ventline/BVA0502-03.html1 point

Sorry for the delay. Yes, we are on the road and I'll post some pix when I get a chance. Last night was incredible! The Texas panhandle between Amarillo and Erik Oklahoma. Twelve tornadoes reported. Extremely heavy rain and hail. Continuous lightening for many hours. People parked under overpasses. A semi blown over. And we were tooling along in the darkness. Excellent! Love it! We stopped at the rest stop at Erik, OK and it was full of trucks ducking out of the chaos. I was wondering how strong the wind would get and if Ollie might get blown over. A lot of it was a cross-wind, and it was pushing us around. My 1 ton Ram/Cummins is about as stable as they get, but still....... Ollie was a real trooper and just followed along totally stable with no sway control. We could not hope for a more stable design! After we stopped for the night, water was sheeting down the windows as Ollie rocked from the gusts. I sat, with a glass of wine and smiling, while looking out the widows at the proceedings. Too loud in here to talk comfortably. Then the power at the rest stop went out. This morning, Ollie and the truck are nice and clean. We'll press on to Big Piney Rest Stop in Arkansas tonight and then to Florence Alabama for a couple of days on the Tennessee river next to Muscle Shoals. It took us a couple days to get out of Nevada with a stop at Valley of Fire, east of Las Vegas and some on-line business. But now were cranking out about 450 -550 miles per day. Had to stop at Meteor Crater for another look and at Rudy's Texas Bar-B-Que in Amarillo. Fuel is getting gradually cheaper as we go east. Still getting water up into the shower pan each day and don't know why. The gate valve is closed, we haven't used the bath sink and the pop-up drain is down. Oh well. See you guys soon! John1 point

Oh yeah, I did forget to mention that! The main and eyebrow circuit boards. These had been replaced several times but apparently Dometic buys these from lowest bidder. They sometimes don’t communicate correctly or are overly sensitive to incoming power etc.? There was one Dometic tech who understood the situation and was able to really think about the problem and knew that they had a set of perfectly matched boards. These seemed to work. Can’t really explain “electromagic” ! Anyway, thanks to everyone for the input along the way.1 point

We also just had the DC Step-up Converter stop working which supplies power to the WiFi Ranger. Now there is a WiFi Ranger Company Technical Service Bulletin regarding the issue. The Tech Bulletin will allow you to enter your WiFi Ranger ID, found on the unit, to determine if your Step-Up Converter needs to be replaced. It also indicates that it is possible to damage the WiFi ranger if the Converter overheats. I haven't installed my new converter yet to test if mine was "toasted". As you can see in the pic the V2 is much more robust. I plan on using heavy duty velco or 3M adhesive to secure it. https://wifiranger.com/tech-bulletins [attachment file=Wifi Ranger pic 2.jpg]1 point

Interesting posts. All above are working to narrow down possible causes. Looking at all you have done, I can envisionate a possible cause not documented. Yes you have propane pressure. This is one necessary quality... pressure. But of what? Hopefully 100% of the proper mixture of hydrocarbons we call propane. It may be good enough to sustain fire for your high volume heater and water heater. But the refrigerator is much more picky on what it consumes. Said another way, you may have bad gas. Either in quality or air/nitrogen mixed in it. Recommend you borrow a tank from another trailer/friend and see what if it will run on theirs. That would effectively take gas quality out of the question.1 point
