Yes Sherry, you are correct. The original posting about tank sensors slipped into cleaning tanks and I apologize for contributing to the confusion by not staying on topic.

Try searching the internet for the “Geo method”. It suggest using Calgon and Dawn dish soap for RV tank cleaning. Borax can also be substituted for Calgon. The Calgon or Borax will soften hard water and Dawn will clean the inside of the tanks. I add both after dumping my tanks. Driving the trailer home or to the next camping spot acts as the agitator. Works for us.

"Ollie Gear" Company Store, products desired. Speak up!
mossemi replied to John E Davies's topic in General Discussion
I would support the Ollie Store. -
I try to keep it light sometimes???

I’m glad you found it useful. It’s a cheap and simple mod. One suggestion for anyone adapting this for their use is to cut the short horizontal with the chair tip last. It will be easier to make your frame horizontal when installed. Good luck!

Amazon?? Good Luck on your fishing trip. I think you said you were heading to Idaho correct? Not sure where you are going, but Krunch and I visited this National Monument a few years back. We weren’t camping at the time but we thought it was a unique place and the campground was clean. Not much shade but very interesting.

And now you are wondering how I posted those pictures upside down! Me too?♂️ Maybe a moderator can fix um?

I was trying to figure out a way to reduce grey water production and have a larger shower and came up with this mod. It doesn’t take long to set up and it affords us some privacy. The first pic is the gear bundled for storage and travel. The second pic shows the frame installed. The third pic has the shower curtain installed and ready for use. And before everyone has a laugh ? at my expense, these pictures are on the curb side for demonstration purposes only. There is too much vegetation on the street side for pictures.

As soon as it quits raining here in Florida I’ll set it up and take some pictures and post them.

Actually it is a piece of 1/2” pvc pipe with chair leg cups on each end and 2 small Harbor Freight suction cups for each set of drawers. When parked, we use the setup inside or out for hanging wet things. And after seeing a recent mod for a shower curtain, I believe it will work for that as well. I also have a similar setup for an outside shower curtain. Got to love pvc.

Connecting rear camera to Tow vehicle
mossemi replied to hardrock's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
Is there a way to merge the camera system signal from the rear of the trailer, electronic or hardwire, so I do not have to mount another monitor? Thanks Coy aka Hardrock There is a way to do this if your truck display has RCA connectivity. Jensen makes the Voyager cameras Oliver is installing. They also make a wireless receiver that will connect to non Voyager equipment through RCA connectors. So if your truck monitor has RCA connectivity this receiver would plug into it and should display the rear view camera output. Your GMC dealer may be able to answer the question about the RCA connections. See the attached pictures from Rvcams.com and be sure to read the fine print about camera compatibility. Also check with www.rvcams.com for support. Let me know if you need any further assistance. I personally use the rear view camera whenever the Ollie is connected. I turn the rear view mirror toward the ceiling or temporarily remove it and place the Voyager display high in place of the mirror. Looking at the Ollie in my rear view mirror drives me nuts so I eliminate that view. -
Krunch and I are interested depending on the dates. We don’t Facebook so we’ll have to monitor the Oliver forums.

Krunch and I would like to thank everyone at the the rally for making our first Oliver Owners Rally a great experience. We had a blast and I gained 3 pounds?.

You may have a different light fixture or at least a different gasket.

Carry a small motorcycle on the back of the trailer?
mossemi replied to John E Davies's topic in General Discussion
A friend of mine pointed to this website recently. Cruiserlift.com. The swivel wheel is what he was referring to. May or may not work for your back road travels but it should give you something to think about. -
Amazon tells me that item will not fit my 2014LC. Did you look at the TIMBREM TORLC1 System at all?

I have owned an Abus chain and lock for nearly 20 years. It is used for motorcycle security. I tried to run it through the holes in the Ollie wheels, didn’t fit. The link diameter measures 15/32” and the total width of the chain is 1-9/16”. I am going to call that the 1/2” chain and not the 3/8” chain Roguebooks posted.
