You may have 2 15 amp outlets on the genset depending on the which model you bought. If I remember correctly from your previous posts, you did not get the companion. The bonding plug goes in 1 of the 15 amp outlets and the 15 to 30 amp cord/adapter goes in the other. Mike

I can’t answer the charging question, but check out GenTent for weather protection while running the gen set. http://www.gentent.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=GT10KXKITB Mike

Resolving Three Issues with Ollie Window Shades
mossemi replied to Spike's topic in Ollie Modifications
Spike, thanks again for your practical solution to the falling window shade problem. Our daytime shade recently started falling down on the curb side window. I took the shade down and I was just about ready to start taking it apart to see what I could do to fix it and bingo, I thought of your post and the use of the plastic wall anchors. I must admit that I hate those things, but I never throw them away. So I found 4 of them and installed them per your instructions and problem solved. Thanks again and Merry Christmas, Mike- 35 replies

Sorry I missed your response. Not sure how I missed the notification if there was one. But I noticed your LC 200 thread in recent topics and looked to see your latest posting. That’s when I noticed I had missed your update request. Anyway, to answer your question about the hose, it was tucked up under the engine cover. No one at the dealership could explain why, but the hose is back in place and all is good. While looking through the posting I saw the Tekonsha P3 installation pictures. I had tried to find a mounting place for the P3 and never found a suitable location I was happy with. So I sent it back and bought the Redarc controller and included a picture off the install. After a year of service I can say I am very please with the product. Mike

Wow! It would be nice for Christmas, but it’s a little early. It’s a good thing your snowblower is tuned up and ready to blow. That same cold front is blowing through Florida at this time with heavy rain and tornado watches in effect. Good Luck! ☃️☃️☃️☃️

Your camping location is very close to Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge. A friend of ours is on a 3 month camp/work assignment there. Enjoy your Oliver.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Bill, Just saw the weather forecast for the Carolinas. You better ask Santa for a snow shovel.☃️☃️☃️☃️☃️☃️ Good luck, -
They sure do. If you have to buy some, Amazon has a 3 pack of the long ones that fit great.

Quick question for those who have done custom graphics
mossemi replied to Overland's topic in Ollie Modifications
My vinyl was produced by Oliver from art work I provided. I found the silhouette on the dog on the internet and the artist was in England. I purchased a print and he granted me permission to reuse a digital copy he provided. I put the text in and Oliver produced it in the color brown on my trailer with some of the text in black. The charge was $160 and was completed while the trailer was in for the fresh water tank modification after the rally this year. When it was applied, it was in 2 steps. First the silhouette and then the black text. I seem to remember that Oliver cannot do 3 colors because it is not printed. But my graphics are actually 3 colors, brown, black and the white of the trailer. If you are going to use your snowball it might be possible to due the same The challenge will be the blue if it is vinyl. Good Luck -
Follow this link to Andersen’s website for information on the attached pictures. https://andersenhitches.com/Catalog/accessories.aspx The were a couple of Ollie owners at Lake Guntersville this year that really liked the Jack Blocks. I recently picked up 3 of the EZ Blocks <b>3rd picture </b>because like Overland, I thought the Jack Blocks were a little expensive. So far the EZ Blocks have worked well when placed on a 2” x 12”. And they can be stacked 2 high just like Jack Blocks if needed.

Good choice. Retirement and Alaska are getting closer everyday???

I would almost agree. Any debris would slow the flow, but the pipe cleaners start flowing water as soon as they get wet. So far the have prevented the water from topping the inside wall of the middle track and filling up the screen track. That is where my water leak entered the cabin over the curb side bed. This does not mean that window track maintenance can be ignored. The are just less likely to leak if they have a chance totally dry out between rain events.
-
They sure look flexible and now all you have to do is wait until May to use them. We’ll see you at the rally.

You should have a switch for the inverter on the wall and not have to go under the bed to turn it on. Mine in above the dinette.

Need suggestions for a wireless borescope for iPad
mossemi replied to John E Davies's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
I bought this brand a year ago for a plumbing problem andI have used it several times. I got the 23’ model as a lightning deal for $21 dollars. It’s not wireless but it does plug into my android phone and works with a free app. They have different lens available. -
I haven’t seen any rust issues during the 3 months I have been using them. As I mentioned in the original post, it takes about an 1-1/4” of pipe cleaner to reach the middle track and I then bend it down to about a 45° angle to facilitate the water flow. I also try to keep the drip off the side of Ollie. I use half of a pipe cleaner in each slot, which makes them very cheap. And the travel well. With that being said, I don’t think the wicks that Dave mentioned would work because the wouldn’t be stiff enough to stick into the middle track and I don’t know if the ones Frank linked to would bend. My thinking may be all wet?, so let me know how they work.

I think if you look a little closer you will see that the Costco SC2000i is not a Yamaha generator. It is powered by a Yamaha motor but that does not make it a Yamaha generator. Honda and Yamaha generators will always be pretty close in price, with the Yamaha’s a little less. If something is half the price of “the gold standard”, there is usually a good reason. Seadog brought the Costco generator up in a post earlier this year.

About that Wonderful Weird Oliver Fuso Mashup
mossemi replied to Overland's topic in Ollie Modifications
The original picture has bicycles on the back while the second picture shows a motorcycle hanging off the back. I know John asked about carrying a small motorcycle on his OTT in the past. Now my question is “will it fit in the Hanger?” -
I wanted to offer a few suggestions for removing the window seals and tracks. Please read the entire message first as my writing style is a little disjointed. And if you think it tough to read, you should be grateful you don’t have to think like this.? First off, only do this if you feel you can’t clean the tracks and drain slots with brushes, vacuums and compressed air. It takes me about 30 minutes to remove and replace the seals, minus the drying time for the seals. Removing the outside seal for the fixed glass track is pretty simple, I used a metal pick to raise the seal enough to grab it by hand and then pulled it out. The sliding glass track has a different seal that is actually 5 individual pieces. Without looking closely you would think that it is all one piece. The top and bottom horizontal pieces are straight and run the length of the track. The curved corners are two separate pieces with a short straight vertical piece between them. My trial and error procedure is to remove the window shade assembly first and then the screen. The screen has spring clips on the top. Slide the screen open enough to grab it on both sides and push up while pulling the bottom out. With the screen out, remove the sliding window rubber stop. I think a piece of masking tape on the window frame will prevent the sliding window from scratching the frame with window stop removed. Wish I had thought about that before scratching my frame. Working from the outside, remove the outside seal. Next remove the short vertical seal between the curved corner pieces in the sliding window track using something like the pick and a butter knife. The seal is U shaped and it is necessary to fold either of the side portions into the middle and then carefully remove the entire piece. Removing the short vertical piece first will allow you to slide the bottom corner piece upward into the space created by removing the short vertical seal. Do not remove the corner pieces as the are very fragile due the the cuts is the sides which allow the seal to fit the round corners. Now begin removing the long bottom seal by folding both sides in and lifting it out of the track an inch or so at a time. After you get about half of it out you can begin sliding it out from under the window. Now you can clean the seals, tracks and slots by which ever method you prefer. Allow the seals to dry if you cleaned them with soap and water. I treat mine with 303 protectant before reinstalling them. If you are any questions, please ask and I’ll provide any help I can. Mike
-
I put the original seals back in after cleaning them with soap and water. I did treat them with 303 Protectant after they were clean and dry. I did not treat the fuzzy side of the sliding window seal. Have you removed those seals?
-
Are you speaking about the seal for the sliding or the stationary window?

Or look online at the Oliver website. On the main page, select Travel Trailers on the blue bar. Then select Oliver University and find your model and year. ?
