  1. Welcome, Pete. Your Ollie will pop up eventually. As more are produced more used ones will be up for sale. Mike
  2. Wow, it must be quite a sight. Of course if there’s no picture it didn’t happen! We’ll be there today. Mike
  3. Stan, we will miss you. Will keep Carol in our prayers as she battles this cancer. Next year for sure. Mike
  4. Welcome to the forum! I know there is at least one Oliver in LA because it passed me with its LA plates on I-10 as we were driving through the state. Call the sales office to check if there is an owner close by that you could visit. We show ours all the time. Mike
  5. Alex, when I hook to generator power my trailer sees it right away. I’m not familiar with your generator, but I would check it first. Is there something else you can use to plug in to check it? Any circuit breaker that might be off? Someone smarter than me may have some better suggestions. Mike BTW, we stayed at Horsethief BLM campground between Arches and Canyonlands NP’s. What a great place to be!
  6. We had an Oliver sighting this week too. Sunday, while traveling here to Destin, FL, an Oliver with LA plates passed us on I-10 in LA. They waved! We saw it parked at the Buc-ee’s in Baytown, TX as we drove by. Anyone know who it was? Mike
  7. Glad it’s been a great experience! Enjoy the trip back to Alaska, it’s a place many of us are planning to visit. Mike
  8. This what we’re using. It is an Abus padlock. It’s not going to prevent a determined thief but does provide some deterrence. I believe most thefts occur while in storage not camping. Mike
  9. We used this same lock on ours. It won’t stop a determined thief but provides deterrence. I believe most thefts aren’t when camping but when in storage. Mike
  10. The spammer is now banned. The posts have been removed. Not sure how they are getting in. Mike
  11. This is nonsense. There are five active moderators, all owners just like you. There is no censorship going on except in extreme cases (remember bugbite?). None of us are zealous. If there is a questionable post or photo we consult with each other. I have had photos disappear from my own posts - my Television move thread had a number of photos disappear. Let’s not point fingers with no facts. Mike
  12. Steve, glad this is coming to a happy ending and look forward to seeing you and Tali at the rally. Mike
  13. I was already making a shopping list.
  14. David, wow, those are some stunning Utah pictures! Makes me want to go back.... Mike
  15. I can’t answer with a specific number since our trailer is over in the storage. But, the way I do it is to keep the sewer hose connected all the time while we’re on the road. With the recess it allows storing the hose in the bumper without disconnecting. If you brought the pipe out further you’d have to disconnect in order to close the bumper. It makes it easy when we have a FHU site to just drop the bumper and connect to the campsite sewer. Mike
  16. Wow! I’m sure that there is some snow fatigue this late in the year. Hope you get a nice thaw soon! Mike
  17. Welcome to the group! Looks like you are just a short drive to our rally location. If you can, come on down and meet some owners! Mike
  18. Thanks, John. Makes me want to get up to the north west even more! Mike
  19. I like what you did with the sink and faucet. Looking forward to more projects and pictures! Mike
  20. Some dealers have them already. The Airstream dealer in Buda, TX has a couple. Mike
  21. I like all the windows. Don’t like rear door, most campgrounds not set up for rear doors. Manual front jack for that much money? Time will tell if the quality is there. Airstream has some QC issues. I’ll stick with Oliver. Mike
  22. Ours also works pretty well with AT&T. It works best when you are close to the inside antenna. Have you checked to see if you have any red lights on the booster? Mike
  23. Yes. Just enough to prevent any lateral movement.
  24. Interesting... our towel bar isn’t crap and really works well as a towel bar. It hasn’t fallen off and is still tightly mounted. We also have a command hook above it for the microfiber towel we use to wipe down the shower after we squeegee. Mike
  25. Fort Sill! My dad was artillery and I spent much of my youth at Sill and in Lawton. I was staioned there in the early 80’s when i was a young signal officer. My brother was FA and was staioned at Ft. Sill a lot. Small world. Mike
