  1. Just so there is NO confusion on this - the 23.5 inches should be to the top of the ball as NCeagle mentions above. Good luck on your delivery and be prepared for being overloaded with information. Bill
  2. If you see one (anywhere) simply stop it and start talking. I've yet to meet a fellow Ollie owner who didn't like to compare notes, mods, campgrounds, etc. Bill
  3. Its OK to call it a "stay up table".
  4. I believe that it was a former Ollie owner that came up with the spin welding idea in the first place - Raspy. And, if it was him and if he still has the tools to do the job I know that he is located in the western part of the country. You might want to send him a private message (PM) in this regard. I'm certain that he would be willing to help you if he can. Bill
  5. HERE it is. Yes, ducted.
  6. The interior "bug" lanterns that I mentioned above are the NEBO "Z Bug" (On Amazon) lantern and THIS ONE from Amazon. Leaving either one on at night with just its blue bug attracting light on and no other lights leaves enough light to be able to negotiate around inside the Ollie while enjoying that short little "zapping" sound as another one of these little critters turns to dust. The NEBO uses batteries while the other one is USB charged. And, yes, both will zap mosquitos. The only "problem" that I've noted is that the bug light reflects off the interior surfaces. Thus, I think it takes awhile for the little critters to actually find the source of the light. But, leaving it on for a couple of hours seems to allow for enough time for them to "go to the light". Bill
  7. "Trout stream"? - I'm on it! Anything in that pond? rideandfly - got a name of that BBQ joint? Bill
  8. Pat - Some of us "old timers" like to keep these things "secret" so that you new guys can earn your stripes (just kidding) 😁. Bill p.s. note the "keeper pin" on the hitch pin - it has a slight bend at the bottom which helps to prevent it from coming out. I don't think that you can purchase them like this as I bent this myself using a vise and a two pound hammer.
  9. My first approach is to use "Bug and Tar Remover" from any of the major brands sold at WalMart, Auto Zone, Murpheys, etc. If that doesn't work then I'll go after it with Acetone. However, if you go this route - be very careful in that acetone will take the coating off those nice wheels if rubbed too hard and/or if left on one spot for too long. Bill
  10. I'm in the same boat as George and with hull # 117 am a bit closer to Wayfinder's hull #. I think that I remember reading about the temperature (in the fridge compartment) that initiates the fan but my Owner's Manual is presently in my Ollie which is in its storage yard. In about a week I'll be at the storage yard and will take a look to see if I can find that reading. However, in the meantime, when I have the fridge fan switch in the "on" position, the fan certainly come on well before external temps are in the 90's and does not shut off until the external temps get at least in the low 70's. Bill
  11. Not that specific brand or model, but, I've used these things for awhile. The small ones are great for getting rid of those little tiny critters that always seem to show up against that nice shiny white Ollie interior - and bother the hell out of you while trying to get to sleep. We had a bigger one that ran off 110 volts for the yard a few years ago and it also helped make the yard better. Bill
  12. As they should
  13. Enjoy I-70 Its a real trip!😆
  14. Its a real shame that you guys simply couldn't find a prettier place to hold a rally (just kidding!) As the old saying goes - build it and they will come. Even so - great attendance. Congrates! Bill
  15. Welcome! I'm just over the mountain from you near Brevard, NC. If you need something - don't hesitate to give me a shout. Bill
  16. RB - Since you are in the neighborhood - You might want to take a run up to Tin Cup, CO. Bill
  17. Gone is the day when we could travel this great country of ours while being rather certain that we were the only Oliver around. And to think that I always thought that I was the only one smart enough to find, buy and enjoy one of these campers! Just shows that the folks in Maine are not the only ones that can have a "not-rally". Bill
  18. Farmington has cures
  19. Last time in Farmington for me I was on a motorcycle. Heavy thunderstorms and water in the streets that covered my boots! Route 64 that goes through the center of town continues east all the way to the Atlantic ocean! Safe travels! Bill
  20. Try: THIS for the Andersen install vid. Bill
  21. that the bears
  22. Suggestion - before doing the propane conversion on a new generator check the warranty details for the generator. Better to be aware than be surprised. Bill
  23. Yep - This "tractor Supply" pin mod has been around for a fair number of years now. I always recommend that if a new owner is about to pick up their new Oliver (and has the Andersen), one of the first things they should do is drive out of the delivery area and straight into the Hohenwald Tractor Supply sales lot to buy one of these. Thanks for bringing the mod up again though and it is also a great reminder for those still waiting for delivery that they really can learn something by taking a stroll through past history here on the Forum. Bill
  24. Camping season is
  25. Given that there is always change in models that does not necessarily happen all at one time, the only way to be certain of the answers to your questions would be to ask your sales rep at Oliver. Bill
