  1. I can imagine the flattened nature of these hoses would resist water suction. However, I use a cutoff hose that can be inserted into a bucket for transport. A longer hose for boondocking wouldn’t make sense for me.
  2. I dont have a power pole but I could add a nice USB plug for those times I want to charge my phone and leave it on the trailer tongue. edit: looked up powerpole thinking it was some kind of powered flag pole or mount for a Starlink satellite. Looks like it is just another type of dc connection. I guess for an additional freezer in the front basket?
  3. How did you address galvanic corrosion?
  4. I prefer the word efficient to lazy. Less time to set up/break down means more time for the important things. Like beer.
  5. Used Camco water hose, free delivery within 10 miles.
  6. RVs have another appropriate acronym: BOAT. Especially if you are the kind of person that loves to tinker and upgrade.
  7. I would definitely want to keep up with wind conditions since this would only increase the sail.
  8. Awesome. Definitely want the zipper style since my awning seems a bit flimsy in the wind.
  9. You could put it into a lock box like this one: https://seabiscuitmetaldesigns.com/product/oliver-box/?srsltid=AfmBOop13ZLOJ_IbQjuF2xEgcZK9V2oEiPxau77chyi0BNgynA5L8kEH
  10. Or, as @Cort mentioned, the Cruisemaster ATX for those who choose extreme boondocking. Personally, I wouldn't take my shiny egg to extreme locations, preferring instead to stay on the washboard roads.
  11. I was going to make a thread about Timbren suspension, but it appears John E Davies has already done so. With all of the threads popping up about worn out shocks and broken leaf springs, has anyone, since 2020 when this thread was made, put the Timbrens on their Oliver? I have a trailer with this suspension, not my Oliver, and I love them.
  12. I haven't looked inside that area with the mindset of correcting this problem, but why couldn't you use a plastic slip sheet, cut to length, fold it over to make a loose tube and rivet it together. The hose should nest inside of the tube and will keep it from catching on anything. Slip Sheets | Signode
  13. A sunshade for an awning. Wait a second. I need one of those. Is that specific to yours or is it a generic that can be used with any one of them. Specifically, a Girard power awning like mine. I wonder how that would work with the auto retract system?
  14. It is one of those things that I don't really care what the cost is if I need them. As it stands now, my drum brakes are working fine. If they fail, I will replace them with discs rather than new drums.
  15. That just looks awesome and assaults my OCD at the same time. Especially the finger swirls on the back windows.
  16. Except for the marvelously non aerodynamic gull wing solar panels.
  17. Never heard of anything like this. Do you mind adding some pictures? Also, can you tell what kind of 2-inch hitch it is (brand name, etc)?
  18. I hate drum brakes. A disc upgrade would be nice.
  19. I have some Star Bright black streak remover scheduled to arrive from Bezos on Wednesday. That stuff works miracles on stubborn stains on fiberglass. I'm sure it will work on that.
  20. That jack installation is too involved to miss a shiny chrome hose wrapped around it. My guess is that the hose was install, or reinstalled after a problem, and was accidently wrapped around the jack. Of course, no one checked to see if the hose had full mobility before the sent it out the door.
  21. I checked mine today. It is plugged onto a 20amp GFCI. No issues.
  22. I think I will be thinking the same. It rained yesterday and the water coming down the side didn’t bother me. The junk that collected on top and was almost permanently imbedded into the seal, brackets and fiberglass concerned me more.
