A Convenient Location for the TST TPMS Repeater

If you're looking for a convenient place to hook up your TST repeater there is ample space within the front jack head.  +12V power is available and you can utilize the existing power switch currently used for the lamp or add an additional switch if you choose to.

Do the new TST TPMS’s come with a repeater?  I bought mine about 9 years ago and there was no repeater and no recommendation to use one.  I did upgrade the B&W monitor with the color one when the battery on the B&W unit started to fail a few years ago.  Mike

Mine came with one, but only purchased it a couple of years ago, so apparently the more recent editions have changed with what is included.

From the views of it on Amazon it appears that a repeater is included.

My EZE tire has now worked without any problems or a repeater for 9 years.

2 years ago today...TST with 6 sensors and color monitor did indeed come with a repeater...from Amazon :)  Has been working great for me.

Yes, mine did. It worked pretty well (without the repeater) but there were times when I would loose contact with one tire sensor for a period of time. Once I installed the repeater I’ve had no sensor drop-outs.

One note about the repeater...even if you don't need the extra boost it gives you, you still need to install it for warranty compliance.  At least that's  the way it was 2 years ago..

I have never installed mine mainly because it worked flawlessly without it. However with new truck that is supposed to recognize a TPMS system I have yet to get it to do that. Thinking maybe I should install it to see if that helps. Be nice to have it within the trucks system vs having a monitor on the dashboard.

Mine didn’t come with one and I’m sure I’m way out of warranty so I’ll just stick with the I’ve been operating!

A call to TST customer service and they may send you one no charge. Worth a try!

Good suggestion, one I’ll consider.  Honestly right now, what I have has been working fine over 4 different trucks and after just getting home from a pretty long trip this week I need to focus on some home things.  We’re gone most of October too!
