  1. Those marker lights are one of the reasons I was able to buy Hull 45. Someone had put a deposit down on it ahead of me but they pulled out quick after a few people commented on the FB ad that it wasn't a real Oliver due to those lights and other features. I contacted Oliver with the VIN and they confirmed it was genuine. Got lucky!

  2. Am glad I invested in this Ballymore Ladder. Makes this job so much easier and safer. A little pricy but considering an ER visit or worse, definitely worth it to me. I can also use it for access to a lot of garage ceiling racks.

  3. No graphics are currently included on a new build. This is in response to many of the latest buyers requesting the trailers be delivered naked. So there you go.

  4. I may be wrong but, at some point someone’s brother in law or cousin had a graphic design shop in town and were the ones making the vinyl decals for Oliver. They very well may still have the original design programs. If you google vinyl decal companies in Hohenwald you might come up with something. Contact them and ask. Couldn’t hurt.

  5. Ron, you're using the Dometic thermostat controls only for your furnace? I may wire up the furnace to a separate thermostat. That seems like the easier route and cheaper too. I ended up getting the old Dometic down and the new Tosot mounted. It took some finagling and a trip to Harbor Freight for a snatch block. The pictures show the old coming off and the new going up. I pulled the Oliver up once I got the old unit up and then lowered down the AC. Then I pulled the new unit up and backed the trailer under it before lowering it back down. Glad that's over. I hooked the power up, but need to get my generator out in order to test it. I don't have electrical / power yet in the garage.

  6. One big naked egg! I can only see doing that for those who want their own custom graphics, like many here have done. I only want our Oliver to look like what Oliver produced when it was new. Crazy for an organization to lose their own artwork!

  7. Nice mod - I never thought about putting a bar on the closet door. Another thing that should be mentioned - The bar on the screen door is great for catching the entire door assembly in the event that the wind catches it. However, no matter how it is attached to the screen door the fact remains that the screen door itself is made from rather light weight aluminum. Anyone that places a bunch of weight on that door risks either the catch bar being ripped out of the mounting screws or brackets or (worse yet) the door frame becoming bent. I always try to tell people that are unfamiliar with this issue to please use the Oliver installed grab bars if they feel they need the extra support while entering/exiting the Ollie. Bill

  8. Shortly after getting our 2020 OLEll I had trouble with the Dometic thermostat, one of the wire connector setscrews had been overtightened during assembly and the terminal block was cracked. Oliver sent a replacement, which was packaged along with another control box. I sold my Dometic with the original control box and installed the extra control box in the Atmos using the stock DC wiring harness. In my model year Oliver started installing the 11K Dometic Penguin ll, your’s is likely the 13.5K and may not have the same wiring/control setup. Regardless, the control box is readily available at etrailer.com and comes with a wiring harness which could easily adapt to your install. If you need more time to decide, cut the DC wires on the a/c side of the crimp connectors (for future reference), bundle them in the black wiring loom and complete your a/c install. You can then use the heat pump until determining how best to get the Suburban furnace back online. That’s exactly what I did!

  10. @Ronbrink how did you reinforce the handle on the closet to take a person's weight?

  11. I'd be looking into the possible reasons for this "getting stuck" issue. The way these things work is not all that complicated and most likely something is not aligned properly or it needs a touch of lube or there is something getting "caught" in there, or something is bent, etc. Bill

  13. Since our Oliver was a one sided purchase, she still prefers the Hampton Inn and I have been in 'the dog house' ever since. My real reason for an Oliver was so we could travel with our dogs! Mossey
