  1. And your question was also answered by the installation manual. Mossey For banks of batteries Smart Battery Sense may be connected to any one of the individual batteries.
  2. I answered my own question by reading Victron's user manual for the Smart Battery Sense. Mossey When can I use Smart Battery Sense ...and when should I avoid using it? Check the VE.Smart Networking compatible products list for compatible Solar Chargers. Smart Battery Sense is not needed, or allowed, in systems which are already controlled by a Color Control GX or Venus GX, see FAQ Q6 for more info. Smart Battery Sense is not needed for installations which already have a BMV-712 (battery monitor) with a temperature sensor accessory. For installations using a BMV-702 together with its optional temperature sensor accessory - for wireless connectivity consider adding a VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle instead of a Smart Battery Sense.
  3. I am not up to date on OTT's current solar equipment options, but it does seem that some trailers are equipped with some Victron gear. Does your Oliver have a Victron BMV-XXX to go along with your Victron solar charge controller? If so, couldn’t you have accomplished the same functionality by adding a temperature sensor to the BMV-XXX? Mossey edit: SeaDawg beat me to my question!👏👏
  4. The massive bolt is actually a piece of 5/8" all thread. Been there done that! It was my first attempt using a bike rack I already had. It worked until I needed the sewer hose or the spare tire. Then it required removal, so I moved onto 2 trays mounted on the front cargo carrier which created clearance problems with sharp turns. I finally found a used Let's Go Aero Jack-It made for Lippert and mounted it in the front cargo carrier and that’s what I have used for several years. Mossey
  5. I agree that it would be nice to have diagrams for every model year, but that’s not the case. I’m lucky because my 2017 LE2 has a great manual, available in the Oliver University and after downloading it to my iCloud, it’s almost always accessible. I would suggest to anyone that didn’t get one with their Oliver delivery or hasn’t been able to get the information that is available in a model specific format, to go ahead a look at other model years because the information could be the same or similar enough to guide you through the problem or repair you are working on. If you have an original refrigerator that Oliver installed and it runs on propane, the schematic below from 2017 may be of interest. You can probably verify the propane line running from the propane box in front to the rear bumper by looking for the copper tubing below and outside of the trailer on the curb side. And if you have an outside access panel at the bottom of your refrigerator, the penetration of the gas line is probably visible coming through the floor. Mossey
  6. I tried to edit the battery configuration diagram from the OTT manual and the result looks like first grade art work, sorry. Mossey
  7. Make your battery cables look like the diagram below by removing the cables with the red X's. Mossey
  8. It was on hull 193. Mine is located high and in back of the refrigerator. It is accessible through the upper exterior refrigerator vent. The power switch is on the main panel in the foyer. And in a pinch you can remove the upper vent panel for some convection cooling. Mossey
  9. I have to admit that I can’t reach anything over the side of my F150, but they did put a ladder in the tailgate for this old man! Of course the tailgate ladder is pretty much unusable when hooked up to the Ollie. Now both of the 1980 VW Rabbit diesel pickups I owned were a breeze to reach anything in the bed from the sides or the tailgate.😁 Mossey
  10. The picture shows the breaker panel mounted to the front of the panel for easy access. Mossey
  11. That’s the way they are manufactured. I believe that John Davies has a post in his how to library explaining his rework of the left swing door on the Progressive Dynamics power control panel. Our LE2 has a breaker marked Blower in the attic that controls the power to both the MaxxAir and Ventline fans. Mossey
  12. The picture of the wiring diagram I posted above is from the 2018 Elite 1 manual and it indicates the the WP fuse is 15 amps, not 20. @rideandfly's pictures appears to be from an LE2, but it does show that the WP uses a 15 amp fuse, which is blue. Mossey
  13. If your pump is still not working after verifying the fuse condition, check the wiring around the pump. There have been multiple instances of wiring failures near the pump. And I personally found a female spade connector had fallen of the pump switch in the bathroom, disabling the pump. Be sure that there are 3 wires connected to each to each switch. The picture below show the water pump wiring originating in the converter which also houses the fuse panel. There are AC and DC fuses in the panel and the picture indicates the water pump fuse is rated at 15 amps. Mossey
  14. I had a similar problem with a 6 pack of tablets that I had for couple of years. It seemed as if the had swollen up and they were also a little more likely to crumble. I just threw them away and the newer package worked fine. So my take away was to only buy them when needed. Mossey
  15. Are your water supply valves under the curbside bed in the correct positions? Do you have cold water at the outside shower while connected to the City water inlet? Mossey The following is from the OTT LEII owners manual.
  16. Thanks for pointing that out! I assume that’s to prevent alternator charging. Mossey
  17. I am amazed at your connectivity to the internet in such remote locales. You may have mentioned it or I missed it, are you using Starlink for communications? Mossey
  18. I believe that if you insert an ATC fuse into the trailer side of the 7 pin connector between socket 3 and 4, it will send power to the running lights. So I was pondering the possibility of that also supplying power to the awning. Mossey
  19. I would open a service ticket! But it seems like a pretty good safety feature. Mossey
  20. And A Happy 4th to y’all as well. Glad the Platinum Package is all you hoped for! Mossey
  21. I usually start with a plastic razor blade or scraper. I've had success with De-Solv-It, Goo Gone or Goof Off on a coarse rag. And don’t kill yourself because mine seems to come back a little less each time I clean the edges. Mossey
  22. Welcome to the forum and good luck on your shakedown trip! Mossey
  23. Welcome to the forum! What type of batteries do you have and how many? How are you reading the battery voltage? What is the unloaded battery voltage at rest or about 15 minutes after you have remove it from shore power and without any DC loads drawing the battery down? If you only run the inverter for a short time, like reheating your coffee, what is the voltage after you turn the inverter off? More information included with a question = better answers. Mossey
  24. As do I, but I do have a Micro-Air EasyStart installed on my Dometic air conditioner. @Steve Morris Do you have the Truma air conditioner? If so, what is the starting amperage draw? Have you tried the air conditioner on a 20A circuit? Mossey
