Nice cover. As Topgun said a little pricey, I think you would have a problem hooking up the safety cables to the cover, Being coiled And having to go around the storage box. A simple cover would work better.

Door Window Replacement - Need Window Treatment Idea
Landrover replied to AndrewK's topic in Ollie Modifications
This will be my next priority upgrade. I never liked the idea of not being able to see who was outside the door especially at night. Could you share some photos of the in stall? Was the window snapped in or screws? It looks like the 2019s have snap in windows. Thanks -
Mattnan your place looks like a nice spot for a Lobster rally lol.đŠđŠ

Super nice setup. I have a 30amp plug outlet and leave my Ollie plugged in 24/7 your batteryâs should never overcharge with the elec system in the Ollie, even plugged in with Just a extension cord.

My wife and I were camping at a state park in SC. The park allowed a couple to park a very beat up looking van in a site, several sites away from us, no big deal. The roof and the inside of the van was loaded with 2x4s and plastic tarps. For the next 2hrs of hammering and nailing of 2x4s then stapling tarps everywhere. It was just a matter of time. They just finished the shanty when the park ranger arrived and told them to leave. It took another hour for them to take everything apart. It wasnât obnoxious, itâs was the funniest fireside entertainment weâve seen at a campground.

Patriot i like them. The suction works well hadnât fallen off yet, very quite. Lying in bed about 5â away you can feel the air moving. As others have shown there are a lot of different types out there. Iâm happy đđŒ

Weather stripping around the windows
Landrover replied to Foy_Mirna's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
Question to all. Would mold on the weather strip be cause for replacement under the warranty of the Ollie if the mold can not be removed. Your thoughts -
Hereâs what it looked like. The windshield was already cleaned once. The swarms have just begun, it gets much worse.

Nice job well done -
If itâs not bad enough with traveling due to c19 something just as bad (not really) Love bug season has started in Florida those nasty black bugs whoâs only purpose is to have sex with each other and splat on your vehicle. Their splatted bodies like to eat away at your paint if not removed quickly. We made a quick trip from Ocala to Tampa 80 miles one way. I had to stop at a rest area. A good estimate at least 1square inch over the entire windshield was covered in bug splat. You canât use wipers it spreads it all around. So if your traveling into or around Florida for at least the next two weeks be prepared with paper towels and a lot of window cleaner. And yes it will turn the front of your Ollie black with bug splatter. The beauty of living in the sunshine state.

I like your mod well done. Iâm not trying to be critical of your mod just a word from experience i made something similar on a class c it worked great but later learned that the weight of the bike and the constant bouncing in the rear i had stress cracks in the weld area. If I didnât notice it, it might have come apart i put more bracing at the receiver to the main frame and never had a problem. Just a thought. Nice work

To soon to tell.

HOW TO: VIP 3000 Electric Stabilizer Jack Service

Jason Oliver service just made a service video on this subject. Didnât indicate lubing the tube? -
A basic kit gives you most of what you may need bandaids, etc. i also carry over the counter items alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, triple antibiotic ointment, also over the counter meds aspirin, Tylenol, Benadryl etc. your kit should ad any personal items you may need. Speaking to your local fire station or Ems service also helps. I have been seriously considering a portable AED not only for myself but for anyone who might need it. Help sometimes can be a long way away.

I think everyone was very happy and excited when they purchased the Oliver. So thatâs the answer with poor quality control? Sell your trailer if your not happy and buy something else?

Airstream was in Olivers league years ago. They once had the best reputation for quality and look what happened lets hope Oliver is not following the same path.

Iâll agree service is top rate, the best i have ever had to deal with. But I shouldnât have had to deal with service on many occasions because of poor quality control in the factory. As i said in many posts on this issue and expressed disappointment with the quality control to management. If Oliverâs claim that many inspections are done at each phase of the build, and then a final inspection and water test for leaks before delivery there should not be the amount of problems that the customers are experiencing. Reputation is key which is how Oliver got were they are. It doesnât take many unhappy people in this age of social media to loose that reputation. Increase and demand of higher production, will make them fall short of quality control which it appears that it already has. It will be interesting to see what happens when production resumes. Letâs hope the down time is a good time to reflect and make changes.
