  1. John You should repost your shotgun mount mod. I always thought that was a great security feature 😳
  2. SeaDawg my apology’s mis read when you said with the trailer in tow. My mistake
  3. SeaDawg If humans aren’t allowed to ride in travel trailers while in tow, I think the same goes for animals. The Tv would be a safer place. Have you ever seen a trailer trailer in a roll over crash? Nothing left to it. Maybe not the same results with the Oliver. Tv heavy damage but stayed intact. I could be wrong. My opinion only.
  4. Not positive I don’t think you will find a 20 yr loan on a Rv unless it’s 50k or higher that’s on new. Used you might get 7-10 yr loan if only a couple years old it will still have to be a high purchase price. Check out Rv sites that offer loans good Sam etc. you’ll see how they break down financing. Good luck,
  5. My apologies thanks for the info. These values were not accessible only a year ago. Great news
  6. Top gun i glad to hear they have a new group. The one they had before was a third party lender I had a difficult time with them. They would not provide the actual lending institute they were using or Would give a accurate interest rate. Hope this is a direct lender.
  7. I think I posted this some time ago. When I looked at financing a used Oliver there was no bank or credit union that would consider financing, as you stated there is no NADA used values. At the time the only option was personal loan, @ 9% for 3yrs and a large down payment, or a home equity line of credit. To much paperwork and still high interest rates. This is the only disadvantage of buying a used Oliver, but a benefit for owners, the ability of asking higher used values. Cash purchase is the best option on used Oliver. The other disadvantage that I found most Rv dealers won’t consider a Oliver for trade in, same problem no NADA used value. If you need to finance a Oliver new is the best Choice. There are some banks, credit unions and RV financial groups, you can get long term 7 yr plus the catch is the higher amount finance the lower interest rate. The other advantage of new and Rv Loan. Tax write off as a second home. This is the problems i faced others may have had better results.
  8. Hull # 484 was the exciting numbers only a year ago. I guess now we’re considered old.😢😜
  9. John The mainstream RV wiring are like rats nests Airstream included Oliver has the best wiring I’ve seen. I’ll admit wiring is one of my weak points. The Oliver is easy traceable A least my 2019 Ollie is.
  10. If it comes to the dreaded drilling holes in the fiberglass, I prefer pop rivets. Flatter heads better grip less chance of rivets backing out or striping threads like screws. stick on fasteners is my first choice.
  11. My only input on the wiring with years of different Rvs its the best wiring I have ever seen.
  12. My previous trailer 30’ Airstream Serenity had the ultra leather Oyster 5 months traveling across the country with two dogs it was one of the only things that held up well.
  13. That interior is called salsa that is an option on the airstream Serenity
  14. I’ve had my champion duel fuel for over 5 years gone through two hurricanes 24/7 operation 7 and 10 days operating full bore with the ac on Florida weather. No problems 🤞
  15. If anyone is that serious to have a extreme off road trailer. Do as Raspy did buy a Black series trailer.
  16. Overland you are correct my vin is different than my hull #484 Does anyone know if Oliver stamps a hidden vin # on the frame. If in the event an Ollie is stolen to prevent re tagging the trailer with a new vin#.?
  17. Since most of us are stuck inside due to the rain today at Guntersville state park. And hey no leaks anywhere Ollie is solid 🤞How about a shoutout to those who are here. And what site everyone is in. Hopefully will get some sunshine soon. Grant E-27
  18. The 2020 2500 HD Chevys have more tow features. On my 2017 Chevy HD I had some trailer connection problems. The display was showing no brake controller connections, service trailer brakes. Or no connection at all. It was a simple fix. Dielectric Grease on the trailer plug And the problem was solved solved for me,
  19. If anyone gets Harvest Host news letter take a look at the section for Rv recall list. They all need extended warranties long list.
  20. I just picked these up flash light rechargeable $13.00 key holder $15.00
  21. I thought the most requested item was a bigger Ollie.🧐
  22. Unless they stopped giving them out Oliver gave you a emergency pin for the coupler. It was a bent cotter pin on a key ring. In case you lost your pin. I have mine somewhere placed where I’ll remember where it is. I forgot where.
  23. I use the bed topper /cap. It has its advantages and disadvantages. I found something interesting made for toppers. A topper lift. 4 electric post lifts, that lifts the topper to be able to put larger item in the truck bed. The other nice idea is the company sells a kit to convert the topper to a tent camper when lifted. The web site is topperezlift.com
  24. The rack itself may stay in place while traveling. Definitely have it empty before hitting the road. Thanks
  25. ScubaRX ill be at your table for the high class junk should be good stuff.🛠⛓🔩🗝🔌📡
