  1. @Heather and Eric Unfortunately we no longer have a classified section on the forum for items such as these. Maybe someone will send you a PM and help you out. I think I saw your post on the Oliver FB page as well good idea. The newer Calmark covers are nice and are a much lighter weight which make them a lot easier manage to than the older heavier covers. Just something to consider if you find a seller. We like our newer lighter weight Calmark. It sure makes a huge difference when uncovering a nice, clean Oliver when you’re getting ready to roll! If I learn of anyone selling a cover I will forward your interest to them. Happy Hunting! PatriotπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
  2. Not I Mike, but a nice looking rig for sure. πŸ‘πŸ»
  3. Have you recently winterized? Is your LP off?
  4. After a little bit more online research it appears that Lippert lack of quality strikes yet again. There are quite a few SOB RV’s that have had the same issue with the Lippert interior door laminate cracking. Planned obsolescence? πŸ€”πŸ˜’

  6. I look forward to your report. My hopes are the friction hinge is not the cause. I have had this mod on the back burner for awhile.
  7. Thank you. I had the same question when I called HC before placing my order. I spoke to a fella named Gabe. I asked him about proper fitment? He said it is designed to put the downward pressure on the shank vs the clamp lifting the down pressure/tongue weight up. https://www.hitchclamp.com/pages/videos
  8. GJ, I can chime in on this. When I replaced the window in my door with a tinted Zarcor window and Zarcor blind I saw a foam core inside. Patriot
  9. My 3” hitch clamp arrived today. I decided to cancel my order with Amazon and order directly from Hitch Clamp for a much quicker delivery. Very impressed with the fit and finish of this product. Zero play or movement with this robust clamp. They also gave me a Veterans discount. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‘πŸ» https://www.hitchclamp.com/collections/3-clamps
  10. I hang my cable in the Sea Biscuit β€œMoose Rack”. It keeps it at the right height while under way. So far so good.
  11. We really like our β€œOpen Roads” card for all the reasons you mentioned and more. On our last 48 day trip out west we occasionally saved 65-70 cents per gallon on diesel. @QuestionMark you are totally on point about being able to safely fill up in the larger diesel commercial truck lanes, we are really spoiled. One of the other nice benefits of the O/R app is forecasting along your planned route and knowing where you can use it. Huge fans here of Open Roads! πŸ‘πŸ» πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ @Dave and Kimberly should you purchase a diesel beast here is the link to Open Roads. https://myopenroads.com/
  12. @Tideline77 Shortly after taking delivery of our 2020 LE2 we had a local shop install 10 mil XPEL PPF (paint protection film) on both front corners of our Oliver. I also had the LP storage area, and a strip run down under the quarter panels. It’s not a matter of if you will get stone chips on your pretty gel coat, from road rash and missiles, but when. With well over 25k on our Oliver I can say it was really worth the install, and has really protected the gel coat especially the front corners. It’s not cheap, but neither is repairing chipped gelcoat and getting it to match. https://www.xpel.com/
  13. Awesome! I prefer the black color over the red. Looking great John! πŸ€©πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
  14. Welcome @Richard Walker it’s always good to take a deep dive into Oliver University and your new owners manual. Oliver has also gone to great lengths to provide amazing owner support with this invaluable information. The videos Oliver has produced are extremely helpful. Naturally ask questions here on the forum we are more than willing to help. Hope to meet you at the 2025 Oliver Rally! Safe Travels! PatriotπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
  15. You bet, once and done! This configuration has served us very well.πŸ‘πŸ»
  16. Steve, My stock black caps fit my ELys perfectly. This is how I roll using my Ely QCs.
  17. @Catherine The only time we left our Truma on all night was on our 48 day recent western trip. The temps while camped for a week inside Yellowstone NP dropped below freezing at for 3 nights. As a result it will run periodically and yes you will hear a slight 10 second Truma hum. It sure is nice having on demand hot water within about 8-10 seconds. Typically we just turn it off after use to conserve a little propano! On a side note, you will really like how easy it is to clean/decalcify and winterize your Truma. Welcome to the forum! 18. Ahhh the years we lived in Texas…so much fun.
  19. A vid in the event you need to remove the hammerlocks. (No plans to here).😎 While attached to the receiver as @topgun2 said it could be a little bit of a challenge.
  20. Agreed, and I had the same thoughts. πŸ‘πŸ»
  21. You bet JD, these are called 1/2” hammer locks and are rated for 12000 lbs ea. To your point they make it much easier to attach safety chains. My Weigh Safe hitch is rated for 21,000 lbs. link -https://www.weigh-safe.com/product/weigh-safe-drop-hitch/?srsltid=AfmBOoolgTCwKhll9w1HP7E1phPvIgecdRRK__EUlWP7DPInx6CUJx0T
  22. Our Beast of Burden gets a new tail hook ha! After doing a bit of a deep dive I decided to order up a new weigh safe aluminum 10” drop hitch with a 3” shank. I have been using 2 reducers and have never been a fan of them as they are a bit sloppy and noisy or simply too many moving parts. I have to say out of the box I am really impressed with how solid this hitch is engineered. Really well done. I opted to not go with the tongue hitch weight dial. According to quite a few user reviews, these dials use a rubber seal/oring and at times can fail and then require maintenance by replacing the seal. When the O ring fails you will notice fluid leaking from the hitch πŸ‘ŽπŸ». Just not something I ever want to think about….ever especially on a long trip. I did opt in for the stainless steel 2” and 2 5/16 balls vs chrome plated hitch balls and locking hitch pic all keyed alike . B&W tow and stow is also a good hitch which I was also considering. My preference has always been aluminum as rust and corrosion will eventually take its toll on steel powder coats so I passed. There is very little play with the new Weigh Safe 180 3” shank. That said, I did order this 3” anti rattle hitch clamp to keep everything buttoned up with zero play. Edit- I ordered my hitch clamp directly their website. Quick shipping and excellent communication. https://www.hitchclamp.com/collections/3-clamps My reducers will no longer be used when towing XPLOR.
  23. To All my Brothers and Sisters who have served. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Thank you for all you did to protect our great country. Freedom is not Free.
  24. At last years Oliver Rally Truma Rep Dave Leyman talked about the intro of the Truma soft start. He specifically mentioned that a Truma tech or Oliver Service would have to do the install for warranty purposes. The Truma tech said the SS was not going to be sold directly to the public at this time. This might have changed IDK. For anyone really interested in a Truma SS, I suggest giving Oliver Service a quick call, they will give you the full scoop.
