  1. Hi David, Welcome to the fourm. In May of 2023, Oliver Service retrofit our OLEll with the newer quieter 13.5 BTU Truma Aventa AC. While at the service center I asked Jason Essary who is now the Director of Sales and Service if the techs had ever retrofit the Varioheat furnace to which he replied no. At the time, he said that it would be a very expensive and really involved (labor intensive) retrofit and not something that Oliver would ever consider doing. As for the control panel, I do think you can purchase it separately as we opted to purchase and have this control panel installed when we had Oliver install our new Truma AC. The control panel in our case serves as a back up should the Truma AC remote fail. I suggest you give Oliver Service a call (888) 526-3978 and ask if they have ever retrofit the Varioheat furnace. To my knowledge they have not. Please post up what you learn from Oliver. Patriot 🇺🇸

  5. And she was our sales associate in 2020! 😊She really made our purchase fun and seamless.
  6. Yes, and the Sales staff will also report to Jason Essary as he is now the Director of Sales and Service. All the best to everyone in their new roles at Oliver. One thing for sure change is constant at Oliver. 😄 Patriot🇺🇸
  7. @shhQuiet Steve, Again, not accurate info. Oliver did not let there sales staff go. Oliver still has a sales staff that can and do sell directly from Hohenwald to buyers that do not have a dealership in their state. Anita and Josh are sales reps for Oliver and are still selling Olivers at the Mothership. This info was provided to me by one of the sales staff at Oliver. Cheers! Patriot🇺🇸
  8. Here in the NC in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mtns, we are risk adverse and just spend 15 minutes to winterize. If nothing else, we sure sleep better. The Truma AquaGo makes winterizing a breeze. 😄🥶
  9. Here is a gaggle of Christmas gifts to peruse as advertised by KYD aka Mark and Trish.
  10. Hi Steve, Neat video! I just spoke with Oliver sales. They still take trailer orders at Oliver Sales and Service, but if you’re in a state that has a dealer, you need to go through a dealer to place your order. If your state does not have a dealer you can order directly from Oliver. You can still opt for the Oliver experience and take delivery at the Sales and Service Center in Hohenwald. You may want to edit your video at the 12:05 minute mark. Cheers and Happy Travels! Patriot🇺🇸
  11. Wow…so far so good here with the Velcro strap. Have you considered a heavy duty zip tie?
  12. Occasionally if we hit a really hard interstate bridge expansion joint or a rough area in the road our Oliver TV will dislodge from its mounting system and drop down to the viewing position. Here is a quick no drill hack I came up to secure the TV to the ceiling mount. I keep several of these Velcro straps handy in my go to “possible kit bag”. 😎 Pro tip - These also work great for keeping hoses and extension cords tightly wrapped when stowing your gear. For those that rarely use your TV you can also consider using a heavy duty zip tie to keep it secured. Cheers and Safe Travels! 13. Pretty much…as little as I use them for the price they hold up well.
  14. Beautiful craftsmanship Foy!
  15. I have a couple of these knee savers. One in the Oliver, one in the shop and one for all other outside landscape jobs. On long trips I always have one handy in the bed of our TV. With pretty solid reviews, they have held up really well and my knees stay happy! 😊
  16. That’s funny…never heard it called that before. 😂
  17. Happy Thanksgiving!
  18. Same here Bill, Possibly Lippert had a bad run at some point? It sure is a costly replacement for something that should last a long time. 😒
  19. @Heather and Eric Unfortunately we no longer have a classified section on the forum for items such as these. Maybe someone will send you a PM and help you out. I think I saw your post on the Oliver FB page as well good idea. The newer Calmark covers are nice and are a much lighter weight which make them a lot easier manage to than the older heavier covers. Just something to consider if you find a seller. We like our newer lighter weight Calmark. It sure makes a huge difference when uncovering a nice, clean Oliver when you’re getting ready to roll! If I learn of anyone selling a cover I will forward your interest to them. Happy Hunting! Patriot🇺🇸
  20. Not I Mike, but a nice looking rig for sure. 👍🏻
  21. Have you recently winterized? Is your LP off?
  22. After a little bit more online research it appears that Lippert lack of quality strikes yet again. There are quite a few SOB RV’s that have had the same issue with the Lippert interior door laminate cracking. Planned obsolescence? 🤔😒

  24. I look forward to your report. My hopes are the friction hinge is not the cause. I have had this mod on the back burner for awhile.
  25. Thank you. I had the same question when I called HC before placing my order. I spoke to a fella named Gabe. I asked him about proper fitment? He said it is designed to put the downward pressure on the shank vs the clamp lifting the down pressure/tongue weight up. https://www.hitchclamp.com/pages/videos
