  1. It’s a night and day difference, wise choice and welcome to the forum! I also see you have added a bunch of nice upgrades to your Oliver, well done! 👍🏻
  2. By the way, thank you for your honorable service to our great country! 🇺🇸👍🏻
  3. Welcome aboard and congrats on your new Oliver! Try and make it to the rally if you can! Lake Guntersville is a beautiful SP! Now is a great time to draft a camp arrival set up and departure check list so you don’t forget the small and oh so important details! Onward!
  4. Congrats on your new to you Oliver and welcome to the forum. Try and make the rally if your time allows. Lake Guntersville SP is a beautiful park! G&P fan here ha!
  5. That is my dive plan Art. I plan to squeeze everything I can out of my present AGMs. We shall see.
  6. Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new to you Oliver. Hull #634 XPLOR. Safe Travels!
  7. I agree with new tanks at the 10 year mark. What could possibly go wrong? 😄
  8. Gary, I would suggest you try using a heat gun on low or hair dryer first. If that does not work try using Goo Gone decal remover or WD40 and a plastic razor blade, very carefully scrape away decal. A few years ago, I had to remove and replace a small graphic on our “grocery getter” older pick up truck. It was a tedious job to say the least, but the Goo Gone really did a great job of getting the residual glue off the painted surface and did not harm the clear coat. WD40 also works well with decal and adhesive removal also. Suggest then you throughly clean the area with warm soapy water, rinse, dry, wax and add ceramic coat to the area after adding your new graphics. I do know from experience warm sunny days are your friend when removing decals and adhesives. There maybe be other suggestions, but this method has worked well for me. There is also a decal remover wheel that you can buy and use with a hand drill. I have never used this method and not sure how it would work on gelcoat. It appears to have strong reviews. 9. It does from me too. 😊 🇺🇸
  10. Also important to note LGSP use to allow just a 1 day deposit for your site for the following years rally registration. Last year when making our reservations for the 2025 rally, we learned the park changed their policy and now you must be paid in full when you reserve your site for the entire stay at the rally. @MAX Burner great reminder on the military discount. 👍🏻🫡🇺🇸 Looking forward to seeing everyone at this year’s rally! 🇺🇸
  11. Every picture tells a story….sitting dead level with an empty tank.
  12. Stating the obvious there Bill 😂. Fortunately we have never run out of LP thanks to 30# tanks. And as mentioned, we have never encountered a problem locating an LP refill station anywhere we have traveled and base camped out west or on the east coast. Seek and you shall find. Patriot🇺🇸🇺🇸
  13. In our last 2 years of fairly lengthy (42 and 48 days) trips out west and even up in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, we have never had an issue or dire need getting our original 30# tanks refilled. We easily found “Propano” refill stations anywhere we traveled. Many CG’s have refill stations as well as many small towns. If you choose to swap out LP tanks it’s a good idea to check the expiration dates making sure the swapped refilled tank is safety compliant post swap. There is a possibility you maybe getting an older tank than you originally started out with. Our best practice is to never swap out our 30# tanks, we simply just get them refilled. This also allows us to maintain our LP tank integrity and actually see and know how much “propano” our Hull 634 XPLOR is sipping. 👍🏻🇺🇸😊 Onward!!
  14. I would also recommend 30# LP tanks if you don’t have a set. We really like our 30# tanks and they have served us well.
  15. I would highly recommend if you don’t plan on using your Oliver for an extended time period to consider covering it. The UV and general pollution can take its toll on your gelcoat. I agree with @topgun2 with regard to replacing your tires. Congrats on the “littles” aka “grands”.
  16. Looking forward to hearing about your shake down review Max! 🇺🇸🫡👍🏻
  17. Enjoy your time at the Gulf of America!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Safe Travels! Patriot🇺🇸
  18. @SolitaryPine Welcome to the forum and wishing you safe travels and lots of fond memories. This is the place to ask questions for a variety of answers and true campfire stories! 😄 It will be interesting to hear how your Defender handles the high midwest winds when your rig is fully loaded and ready to camp. Onward! Patriot🇺🇸
  19. You mean the search window is not working? I am shocked! 😮😄
  20. I also recently experienced hairline cracks in the corner the exterior cowling of my Truma cover. I called and spoke withe a super friendly Truma Rep and explained what had occurred and was promptly sent a new exterior cover at no charge for the cover or shipping. I have had nothing short of stellar service from Truma reps with questions or ordering a new cover. I received the new cover in approx 3-4 days via fedex. Our Truma Aqua go came with a 2 year warranty. When we purchased new in 2020 Oliver actually filed our warranty with Truma. This must be done within 6 weeks of purchase. Pro tip 😊- you may want to add your tow vehicle, YM and Hull # to your signature. It will assist members of the forum to help you with questions you may have.
  21. We typically carry both of our bicycles on a 1UP USA Super Duty bike rack. My wife and I are avid cyclist and enjoy rails to trails or just riding around in our CG. The total weight of our rack and bikes is appprox 110#. The bikes are locked down and covered with an XXL Yardstash cover I bought on Amazon.
  22. Yes spendy for sure JD. It’s one of those buy once, cry once purchases. Ha!
  23. I use a Y valve on the CG shore fresh water source for my extra hose “camp hose”. The rear bumper makes a nice shelf to support my water hose. My Andersen levelers came in handy as the slab had a slight fall to the street side to allow water to run off. This was at Teton Valley Resort in Victor, Idaho last fall, we love the Tetons. And this was a really nice base camp.
  24. Your working too hard 😊. We have been using eley hose quick connects for several years and they have served us well and do not leak. A quick and simple way to hook up our water hose sans pliers. https://www.eleyhosereels.com/products/garden-hose-quick-connectors?srsltid=AfmBOorhl73lbWlG-pTRQ_aHjougxYv88x-aD4DfsGjJACCyuZjoAX0t More info here -
  25. It might be a little easier with Air tags. Just got a reminder from my iPhone and Ipad to swap out old 2632 batteries for new. Done. ✅
