  1. Looks like a trip to DCT soon. Thanks Mike!
  2. @Ronbrink All good points especially since TST has now revised their recommendation of metal stems vs rubber. Based on this I will reconsider not using the rubber stems and replace with metal sooner than later. I think itโ€™s also important to not over tighten the TST TPMS cap when installing it. This could break the seal and cause a slow leak on either metal or rubber stems. Itโ€™s worthy noting that the metal stems still use a rubber seal which is still subject to leaking and failure.
  3. If you add any additional awning supports be sure and turn off the automatic wind detection/retraction sensor on the awning. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  4. @serge If the suggestions of @topgun2 donโ€™t seem to correct your issue consider submitting a work ticket to Oliver. They may have additional trouble shooting info to help you isolate the problem. Someone else might chime in that has had a similar experience. You may even want to call Oliver Monday morning.
  5. We decided to go with metal valve stems 3 years ago. Shortly after doing so we had a flat, and the metal stem had failed.๐Ÿ˜ฃ I took XPLOR Hull #634 to our local discount tire shop and had all new rubber stems installed and all tires rotated and balanced. Zero issues since. We use the TST TPMS system and are very happy with it. The tech who does tires all day long said he sees more failures with metal stems than rubber. That was good enough advice for me. Cheers and Safe Travels!
  6. Nothing like taking great care of our home away from home. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป I find a polished Ollie is much easier to maintain and wash. All good!!
  7. And Ramblin man too! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
  8. @Nan @geokeg This link with a tutorial video maybe helpful IF you are needing to replace your window vent sash. https://support.lci1.com/videos/window-vent-sash-track-replacement Another link to inquire about the replacement vent sash - https://www.lippert.com/contact-us
  9. Lost a great guitar player today..
  10. Will do. Kathy and I look forward to seeing you and Carol again!
  11. Staying weather aware is so important. โœ… I have to admit we have been through a several really rough pop up Tstorms and stayed safe and dry inside XPLOR unplugged from 30a of course. We always try and have a contingency plan such as knowing where the CG storm or local shelter is IF they have one. In cases where the weather is going to be really severe and possibly place us in harms way we may just pack up and just leave a day early. We also avoid camping in flood zones or low areas which are usually near small creeks and mountain streams. Safety first for sure. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป This thread is a good reminder! Thanks Mike.
  12. I actually spoke with the CGI crew at the 2022 Oliver Rally. I think the 24x24โ€ area in the video was likely for demo and side by side comparison photo purposes. The actual application maybe a little larger area. I agree with you it is a time bandit flying solo. I bet your Ollie will look great when you finish.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
  13. You have mighty fine taste Art! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Looks like a custom Sargent seat too. This is my 3rd BMW Adventure over the years. I previously owned an 07 and a 15 YM. At 6โ€™3 the ergos of this bike allow for a really comfy day in the saddle. I recently took delivery of this 24 YM on Mar 1st. I ride where the Buffalo still roam here in the Blue Ridge Mtn and foothills. My 15 ADV -riding the devils whip aka route 80 in the Blue Ridge Mtns.
  14. After our last 42 day trip out west we came home with a few best practices. We want our set up gear ready to rock.๐Ÿ˜Š
  15. @Badger Pete, We had the Oliver cargo box and realized we needed to make better use of this storage area. In hindsight, would not have purchased the Oliver cargo box if this was available at the time for many reasons. Here is the custom made enclosed cargo box we upgraded to made by - https://seabiscuitmetaldesigns.com/product/oliver-box/ They are located in Johnson City, Tennessee๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ. They ship anywhere in the lower 48. With lots of room, we keep all of our immediate camp set up gear - chocks, blocks, 30 amp cord, and other various first grab items we need here. David & Kristine Hess owners of SeaBiscut metal designs are just top shelf people. We even toured the Seabiscuitmetaldesigns machine shop where they custom hand craft and produce very well made high quality products. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ David & Kristine Hess will be at this years Oliver owners rally at Lake Guntersville SP and will have their cargo boxes and more on display. Possibly a newly designed rear cargo box for the Oliver as well. Welcome to the forum, we are here to help so ask questions, and Happy Camping! Patriot๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  16. Yes, agree on the three step process Bill. I also appreciate the info on the products they are use. Keeping our Oliver under cover when not in use is a huge help in delaying the oxidation process.
  17. @rideandfly Bill, A pretty neat video which contains useful polishing steps by the fellas at CGI. I may add another larger buffer to my arsenal. Nothing like a clean and polished up Ollie!
  18. John, Enjoy the land of the Kentucky Derby, bourbon, and beautiful horse farms. Kentucky is a gorgeous state. Safe Travels!
  19. Just spoke with Mike at OTT Service. This new 2โ€ receiver will not retro fit or swap out into the existing bolt holes on your bumper. It has a wider bolt pattern.
  20. X2 a best practice! That gray tank provides a nice soapy rinse.
  21. Best instructions yet Mike. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
  22. Being a bit risk adverse, I would throw a caution flag about exceeding the 150# weight limit Oliver recommends anywhere on the rear bumper. @Rivernerd makes a really good point about dynamic load. Exceeding this weight limit could adversely impact how the trailer handles, not to mention the liability if a failure occurs. Something else to consider is any modifications to the existing OEM build might adversely impact frame warranty coverage by Oliver for newer model original owners.
  23. Hey Art, Nothing wrong with hanging out in a cow pasture shooting the bull. ๐Ÿ˜„
  24. Yes, the new Olivers do come with a 2โ€ receiver.
