  1. Yes, now I recall reading that. Thanks Bill!
  2. I wonder why Oliver dropped to a smaller 15” wheel?
  3. Wow!!! is an understatement. Glad you both were able to safely depart that demolition derby. 💯 on point Art with having 360 awareness and both heads on a swivel. We prefer refueling at the large truck stops when we can. When parked to refuel my bride and navigator steps out and does a walk around of our rig every time we stop while I top off the diesel. This is just one of our best practices when we are rolling.
  4. Looks like a great looking tire and I will consider these when it comes time to replace ours. Thanks for the info!
  5. @Geronimo John I will chime in according to what I learned at OTT Service last Oct when I had all my running gear replaced. From what I was told, yes they are larger bearings. And naturally never lube does not mean never fail. Jason did tell me that after installing the 5200# never lube axles, Oliver has not had any “never lube” bearings fail with approx 200 trailers now running this axle/bearing combo. He also cautioned that IF a never lube bearing fails it’s a fairly expensive repair unless you choose to carry a replacement drum with a new bearing already pressed in. Replacement drums naturally are heavy bulky and not a cheap spare to carry. Here- See link and scroll down to page 4 - see end play inspection and pressing a failed 42mm NL bearing out to replace. https://www.dexteraxle.com/HDBI https://www.dexteraxle.com/product/2847/69/nev-r-lube-bearing-kit
  6. I can’t help but think of this Jonny Cash song each time I read about and I invest $$$$ into an upgrade for Hull #634 - XPLOR. The next time you’re adding that upgrade you just might start thinking about Ole Johnny’s song. Ha! Glad I had Oliver install the new 5200# axles and all new running gear last Oct. One piece or mod at a time.😅
  7. A good reminder Ken and good scoop on the bezels. Sodium Chloride used on roads in the winter is just brutal on mostly all metals, and as you have pointed out some plastics. For this exact reason I avoid towing our Oliver anywhere in the winter where I know the roads are going to be treated. Those shiney new bezels will look great!
  8. The FreshJet 3 was not discussed by Jason Essary during the service presentation at the rally. I bet if you reached out to Road Lotus with a PM she could provide you with further details on your questions. We had the Truma Aventa retro fit professional installed by Oliver absolutely zero regrets. Cheers!
  9. Congrats and welcome! Wishing you many happy miles of travel and adventure.
  10. Exactly and only missing the Christmas tree on top. 😄
  11. It was so good to see everyone. I think we had 10 couples bring chairs join us sitting around our campfire the second night 🔥. What a great time! IMG_1049.mov
  12. I knew it was only a matter of time….
  13. @Geronimo John Glad you appreciated my update. Now the actual thread can continue on about Steve ‘s awesome vid of the rally. 👍🏻 Your courtesy to the thread is also appreciated. 😉 Onward! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
  14. As to NOT derail this post. I did hear a few comments and it was basically that the failure rate was so low it was not of much a concern at all. And I agreed, the leaf spring horse is dead, it’s a nothing burger. Carry an extra leaf pack, or spend the lettuce and upgrade to a 5 leaf pack and get on with traveling enjoying your Oliver. This was the best rally ever in our experience. Everyone was chilling, grilling, making new friends, greeting old friends and having a fire side blast and enjoying their Oliver’s. Some of the fire side tales were actually true. 😄 Onward!🇺🇸🇺🇸
  15. Neat video! And a really fun time.
  16. Very clean aka Sano Bill! Nice work!
  17. Our 23 day 2024 “Lake Hopping Tour” - It started on the coast of SC and then onto Lake Santee SP for a few days. We left Santee SP and booked a lake front site on Lake Hartwell in Gawwwga. After enjoying a few nights at Lake Hartwell we motored over to Lake Guntersville and really enjoyed a great time at the Rally. Time seemed to go by so quickly. It was so good to see old friends and make quite a few new friends. We hope everyone got home or to their next destination CG safely. Cheers from Blueberry Hill! 🫐 IMG_1049.mov My bride & amazing navigator. We enjoyed a nice campfire just about every night.
  18. Naturally batteries included.
  19. Same here no issues.
  20. You’re making the best out of it Steve! Good on you! See y’all as soon! Safe Travels!
  21. Hey Golfnut, It has cleared out quite a bit from the busy weekend crowds. We look forward to meeting you. Safe Travels!
  22. @CW. Welcome to the forum, and wishing you many happy miles and smile traveling with your Oliver! Cheers! Patriot🇺🇸
  23. We will miss you and Wendy! But understand we all can’t be everywhere. 👍🏻
  24. We rolled into LGSP this afternoon and got XPLOR set up. We have never seen this place so packed wowzer! The weather is perfect and we are looking forward to seeing everyone. Safe Travels All!
  25. Good Morning from Watsadler COE CG on Lake Hartwell. Site 17 will always be very memorable. A cool 52 breezy degrees here last night which made for a perfect nights sleep. Something special about the lake front camping. We are early risers and caught this new day beginning. We will depart this beautiful spot shortly and make our to Lake Guntersville SP on roads much less traveled. Onward &Safe Travels!🇺🇸🇺🇸 Hull #634 “XPLOR”
