Jason Essary OTT Service put us in touch with Xantrex tech support. We were walked through a system reset. No further issues. It was undetermined what caused the error code (4). Xantrex tech support was outstanding. All is well. edit- documented everything and everyone we talked with should this issue occur again when out of warranty. Happy Camping! Patriot

Just noticed this [04] code flashing on our 2020 OLEll this evening. We are on shore power presently here at our home and are headed out in the morning on a week long trip. I read the manual (pic below) and checked all action areas, but still cannot figure out or understand the cause of this code. Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this with this particular inverter. I will give Jason a call in the morning and see if he can help trouble shoot. All other systems are working fine. Hopefully it’s nothing major. Thank you in advance. David

We have lived in several states mostly due to career upward mobility moves with our former employers. We found the state we enjoy living in most is where we are right now. We love the beautiful temperate spring and fall, the long summers and short easy winters of Western North Carolina. We feel very fortunate and blessed to be able to choose where we could eventually build our home and retire. Here in the foothills of Western NC we might get one snow fall of 5” and with a few days it’s gone. So no shoveling or plowing of driveways, or driving and slipping on ice! Very little snow and ice covered roads and power lines suits us well. A short drive to the gorgeous South Mountains a part of the Blue Ridge Mountains and 4.5 hrs to Sunset Beach we are completely content and very happy. We now farm a small Blueberry grove, (a record 43 gallon yield this past season) we also hunt and enjoy wild game and the trout fishing is not bad either. Being “Patriots” we enjoy tremendous amounts of awesome revolutionary war history here symbolizing the birth of this great country. 🇺🇸

Here- its a perfect size, captures water off wet dishes keeping counter top dry, does not hold moisture like wood racks and stores nicely.

Last June we stayed at the Hampton Inn in Columbia Tenn, when we took delivery and drove to Hohenwald about an hour away. There was nothing that really appealed to us closer to the Oliver plant. The Hampton was very clean and quiet and we got great rest. Also a better selection of decent sit down dinning places to eat. As for price, It really depends on what you think is reasonable? I think the Hampton Inn was $120 a night, which worked for us. For the plant tour in Dec be sure to dress warm and wear comfortable warm footwear. We did the Ollie tour in March and it was cold then. Brrrrrrrr!!

Each day is truly a blessing....the leaves of Fall are spectacular and never fail to disappoint on our maple planted 12 yrs ago when we built our home.

Surrounded here at home in the foothills by an incredible a North Carolina fall day, I decided to install a bit of left over 8 mil paint protection where the spare tire can potentially rub and leave marks on the Oliver during travel. I had a little 8 mil left over from a previous install and decided to use it. After a good through cleaning and waxing of the area, I installed the 8 mil XPEL covering the entire location where the tire touch’s the Ollie finish. This will help the finish looking decent for a long time. (A little caution flag - factory sticker on the rim states clean with hot soap water only.) Hope this helps anyone considering this mod. -Patriot

Nicole, We recently opted to purchase a 3/4 ton 2020 F250 Lariat Ultimate with the “Tremor” package. We wanted more long distance travel comfort, better road sight distance when traveling and touring. This truck sits approx 4” higher than a stock F250, no weight distribution hitch, larger fuel tank, and all the hp and torque we could ever possibly need. So a simple no to all questions you asked. We also have the tow haul pkg, trailer anti sway pkg and a bunch of other options. Mileage is around 20-21 highway when not towing. We are getting ready to take a trip towing the Ollie and will learn more about towing mileage. As previously stated there are lots of options out there so enjoy being in the buyers seat! As long as you are happy in the end that is all that counts! So far we really like the power, handling and most of all comfort level in this truck. Welcome to the forum! GAP, We took delivery last June. You certainly can ask or request a modification, but we were told by our sales rep that Oliver no longer does owner requested custom mods. It’s likely you will hear the same info. I believe the explanation was it slows down the assembly/production line. -Patriot

Curb side - The safer side next to the curb or road edge (usually the passenger side) of a parked vehicle or in this case the Ollie you which step out of so you don’t get run over flat by an oncoming traffic. Be safe!

A big Congrats on your order! Welcome, and right now is a great time to get busy reading and learning, and becoming familiar and comfortable navigating through Oliver University. There is a wealth of knowledge to be gathered at Oliver U! The videos are also very helpful. Your taking delivery at a nice seasonably warm time of the year, very wise! We spent an extra few days at the campground that Oliver provides a complimentary one night stay at. I highly recommend you consider this as it will give you time for a “shake down” of your new Ollie. If you have any issues they can be addressed while you are still close to the mothership before heading home. There is a wealth of knowledge on this forum and a great group of owners really willing to help with questions. One other note, Oliver was spot on with our delivery date this past June. -David
