  1. Looks suspicious to me! We'll be at Mt. Pisgah later in July. We really enjoyed it last year. Had to walk across the road to the chairs behind the Mt. Pisgah Inn to check our email... Did some great hikes and also rented a canoe from Lazy Otter Outfitters in Mills River.
  2. I freeze meals such as chili in the flat Chinese take-out containers. They stack up well in the Ollie freezer.
  3. Heading to Mt. Pisgah again later this summer, hope we get the nice weather that you had!
  4. StillGame, I can bring Ticket to Ride. I'll also bring Blokus and SkyJo because they are fast games if you just want a quick game.
  5. Leo, sounds good. We are in E33.
  6. When you go to NY, don't miss Watkins Glen. We stayed in the local town park campground. Hiked the Glen early in the morning to avoid crowds.
  7. I'm hoping a few people might want to gather for a game night (or game afternoon). I enjoy Blokus, SkyJo, and Trekking the National Parks. I can also bring Ticket to Ride or Settlers of Catan if anyone is interested in those. Please let me know your preferences as I don't plan to pack that many games.
  8. There are some Harvest Hosts sites in the Fort Myers area.
  9. I'd like to see Oliver have a session at the rally for getting our feedback on repair issues, ways to improve the Ollie, etc. We haven't had many issues but it would be a beneficial session for all.
  10. Will Oliver be sending more specific information out to those who have already registered for the May rally (other than the basic schedule that I see online?) Looking forward to meeting many of you there.
  11. Always be sure you double check the main door lock before traveling. I neglected to lock one time and the door came open in the middle of downtown Jacksonville, FL. We had to pull over in fierce traffic and get it closed and locked.
  12. This is an excellent museum in Fredericksburg. https://www.pacificwarmuseum.org/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwgMqSBhDCARIsAIIVN1U2OHwKzPgM2smWghf4ilznptdpjG0APazFL5cKZZZFfRK4ed9YM6IaAulqEALw_wcB
  13. We live not too far from the Southern Mattress family, so we decided to order our Ollie with only the provided foam cushions. We figured we could change to the mattress later if needed, but we've been comfortable with the cushions. My husband added a foam topper and I'm sleeping on just the cushions.
  14. We bought a mat before delivery, but we've actually only used it a few times, usually when we are going to be sitting around with guests. Most days, it doesn't seem worth it to get it out (and potentially get it dirty) and we're happy just to set up our chairs and table.
  15. Also look at city and county parks such as Manateee Hammock in Titusville, Moss Park in Orlando, and Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake in Orlando.
  16. I don't have to get on my hands and knees, but I do try to be sure I don't bang the door handle on the floor, don't want it to get scuffed up over time. This heater is very compact and has worked well for us: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004473UK2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  17. We store 2 things via the "basement" interior door: our small electric heater when not in use, and the laundry bag. When the bag gets relatively full on a long trip, we move it to the truck and get out a new bag. Perfect spot for that purpose.
  18. We will be in site E33. This will be our first Ollie rally. I'll be bringing along some copies of my two camping devotional books. (one has a "hint" of an Ollie on the cover.) Let me know if you'd like for me to reserve one for you. (link to more info: amzn.to/3k9UTgu
  19. If you're in the Cape Canaveral area, the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge is worth a visit: drive down the Black Point Wildlife Drive for birding. Someone we met there also recommended the Orlando Wetlands Park which is run by the city of Orlando but is east of there near Fort Christmas , across the road from Christmas, FL. This was a great spot as well.
  20. I would suggest watching this video: https://www.keepyourdaydream.com/payload/
  21. I made all our own bedding. If you buy queen bedding, cut it in half, cut the curves, and then serge the edges it will work great.
  22. Here's a video about the campground and the different areas:
  23. Also in E Loop, made reservations for 4 nights, starting on the 18th but may change that to the 19th once I see the actual schedule of events.
  24. Our is a 2020 (#676) and I am glad we were able to individually select options, rather than choosing packages. I'm also glad we were able to select colors/graphics. We did not have the lithium option, however.
