  1. Looks this may be the tiles. https://afm.waterhogfloormats.com/waterhog-diagonal-floor-tiles/ tempting…..next thing I’ll be putting carpet on my walls like my Casita. 🙂 Ready to replace dinette cushions with denser foam like the Casita.
  2. Just as a data point. Texas out of state used trailer: Inspection ( only first time since under 7500 lbs) Weight Certificate Photos front and side Two state forms to be completed Title with signatures …will know if that’s enough later today. Some of this seems to be county specific.
  3. Thanks guys, Service confirmed they install on the rails next to and parallel to the center beam. they also confirmed 75-90lbs of torque, leaning toward 75. I’m probably over that now, but had slippage at 75. Given how good I’m getting at adjusting the brackets, I may give center rail a try, if I don’t have to mess with new chains. I’ll re-read the thread. Found via Google search. After jumping through way too many hoops to register an out of state trailer, I’m almost baselined. New tires on truck shortly and I’ll fine tune the WDH. While it pulled well with loose chains and just the friction sway control working on the way back from Georgia, today’s run for inspection and weighing was more stable with chains tight. 5450 trailer weight with about 540 on the tongue. Will see what loaded looks like downstream. thanks again to all.
  4. No worries. Think I’m good, but will check with Service Monday. Enjoy your trip.
  5. Mike, if you are feeling energetic, would you try for a wider shot. They may have change some things underneath since 2017. I don’t think you can mount to the outside rail on the right side due to propane line and short distance between welds. I need to check with service tomorrow on torque level and I’ll just ask. thanks
  6. Wonder why they didn’t use the middle beams like I did. Seems like best of worlds, easier install access, no conflict with wiring and straighter pull. unless that beam is considered weaker than other two.
  7. Thanks Mike, I remembered our 14” distance measure just got confused once I was upside down I’m sure….and in a hurry on someone’s driveway. 🙂
  8. Two weeks output and either service or waiting for a buyer pickup. Demand definitely not decreasing yet with orders placed now being delivered in Feb 2022.
  9. I Eas just told it was the Dexter with self-lubricating hubs and self-adjusting brakes. Sales would know the details I’m sure. I bought a pre-owned 2020, so trying not to think about it. 🙂
  10. I had to do a quick install of my WDH at pickup and struggled with slippage on the way back. Torqued Ball to 150 and brackets to 90 per the manual. Called Oliver to confirm on that Monday and they said 150 for brackets. I want to reconfirm that tomorrow, Monday. Trailer towed fine, even with slack chains. Mike showed me his mounting points when I picked up his old hitch, but I didn’t take a photo. I then found the 2017 thread on mounting using the center frame post. So, does Oliver mount the brackets on the Y, with tight clearance or can I use the interior straight frame pieces next to the Y? Towing with 2017 Lexus LX 570, which is the same as John’s 200 series Land Cruiser, but with hydraulic suspension that will balance the load at whatever weight I have on the tongue, up to 700 lbs or so, though likely more, not that I’m going there Confirm factory mounting points or downside of leaving them as is?
  11. Been raining for two+ days. Covered it earlier, but did have some corrosion starting to develop. Cleaned contacts and all is well. Thanks.
  12. This seems to be a weird one. Any idea why my right rear taillight is illuminated while on shower power. I did unplug and reconnected and it was off, but is back on now. 2020 LE2 Not hooked up to truck Shore powered, doesn’t happen on DC
  13. Sheri, I think you inadvertently removed the price from you listing here. At least it didn't jump out at me.
  14. Look at Jay’s listing of his LE2 for sale and do the same. Best listing I’ve ever seen. Clearly showed standard vs optional items, tons of good photos of uncluttered interior, and the original invoice. FWIW, I bought it.
  15. Take a strong look at Toyo AT3s. Some good, long, never ending threads on AT tires on Ih8mud.com, 200 series forum.
  16. Thanks everyone, made it home yesterday, just in time to tuck in out of the way of T-Storms and tornado warnings. At this point the only thing I'd really change is to move the AC from my 2002 Casita to the Oliver. I wonder how many they would sell if sales had to discuss the trailer with clients while inside and the AC running. 😉
  17. Guess I’ll have to break the news to Jason shortly, but I jumped at the opportunity to acquire Jay’s immaculate 2020 Hull 645 listed in the Classifieds, originally delivered last May, right before the factory shut down for Covid. Mike and Carol allowed us to check out their 2017, so while I would have loved my 2022 on order, getting this now got me an additional season of usage, which at my age is worth a bit. 😉 As his listing noted, it was truly turnkey and virtually new. First night is boondocking at a Cracker Barrel on the 1000 mile trip back to San Antonio. Colorado in July. Ralph @ San Antonio
  18. RESOLVED I need to pickup an Andersen hitch this week for a previously owned LE2. A. To determine which model, i.e., amount of drop, their instructions ask for the distance from the ground to the bottom of the coupler. Then the distance to the bottom of the receiver on the truck. Bottom of my receiver is 20" (and might go up a bit with larger tires later). If top of bulldog is 23.5, can I assume the bottom is 21.5? Thus the difference is less than 4" so I just need their 4" drop model...which I expect is the most common. B. Then they ask for measurements to determine bracket size. Does anyone know the vertical width of the trailer frame at the front, where the brackets mount? If 4 3/8 or 8" then that bracket is used. If vertical width/distance is 3", 4", 5" or 6", then I need the distance from the ground to the top of the trailer frame, which is hopefully over 18" to use the standard brackets. https://static1.squarespace.com/static/59717c92e6f2e15e9222f72c/t/59babeaecd39c35c59a52fad/1505410735094/Fitment+Guide+WD+Hitch.pdf Thoughts? thanks...
  19. I know Oliver is repackaging prior options as standard items now, but is there a list of functional changes by year. I have the 2021 and 2022 price list 2021 to 2022 is packaged options and a new axle assembly Anything significant for these years? 2019 - ? 2020 - ? 2021 - added Lithium option
  20. Book the bus outbound and train return, or the reverse. Coming or going through town and immediate outskirts is numbingly slow. I'd be tempted to get it over with outbound. https://www.ralphmawyerphotography.com/Travel/Southwest-US/Colorado-Durango-Train/i-JDW2QKS
  21. Has anyone made a pre-delivery checklist of all these low probability, but occurring failures, scattered about the forums from new owner pickups?
  22. I was just told it was a new battery size option. No other enhancements, other than the axle, awning, etc., for 2022 model year builds beginning Oct 2021.
  23. I’ve also been looking at the incremental upgrade cost on the current price sheet...turnkey when new is nice, but also wonder what two more years of lithium evolution will bring. Solar wet cell... (EZ Start and 3000 inverter skews it a bit) to AGM = $1200 to 390 Lithium =$5100 to 630 Lithium = $9500
  24. They still make Phil Wood grease? I'm still using a tube from my bike mechanic days from the mid-70s. 😉
  25. FWIW. My salesman said they are building five/week.
