  1. No worries Mike, hopefullyI'm replacing your slot in line with the Casita my friend bought from me. šŸ˜‰
  2. l inherited the Plano box and a lot of other cool stuff the prior owner included with our E2. FWIW, it also fits in the forward left area as you open the door. I keep longer folding chair, folding table, mats, etc., items on the right. Just reconfigured the Plano box to include a wet bag for hose and water hookup and other space for secondary water and electrical items, like adapters, etc., next to it. Basically, I can pull the box at camp for water and electric hookup. Second 30amp cable is stored separately. Still refining, so we'll see how it goes.
  3. I read, somewhere in here, that 2020 was the last year they delivered hard copies. Calling your sales rep is the easy answer.
  4. Did this last July, Ouray to Silverton, first time coming home in my L2. I had just done some seriously exposed 4x4 trails so was probably a bit desensitized, but wasn't difficult. Just pay attention and don't let the exposure transfix you. Like the trail leader said as we went over Imogene and Black Bear passes...when is the last time you just drove off the road for no reason. šŸ˜‰ Better than when they created it... 127105122_ImogenePass.mov
  5. Service said sealed lead, not ago, with no maintenance. Lead acid profile. Tempted to lightly pry the full flap, but it really looks setup for no access.
  6. Thatā€™s what I initially thought, but didnā€™t want to force it since it covered the entire battery. Service said maintenance free. Iā€™ll pull the model number, but couldnā€™t find it in a Google search, when I last checked. Not listed by Bright Star. This is a 2020 delivered in May, right before the factory shut down due to Covid.
  7. This the belated photo Seadog asked for in my similar thread. Oliver told me mine are sealed batteries. Build sheet from original owner did not show AGM.
  8. Landrover, did you remove the metal frame and flat mount it to the velcro or just metal frame to velcro? I'm leaning toward removing the frame, but thought I'd check.
  9. They are using a different battery now, and apparently when mine was built, as the ones I have are not the ones pictured in my 2020 printed manual. I'll get a photo in the next day or so... Brightway brand...but all they make is AGM and Lithium now.
  10. I talked to service and they said my wet cells were of the maintenance free variety. So watch the little blue dot and amps I suppose...until they go bad.
  11. Re: AT Tires...give a good look at Toyo AT3s.
  12. Would love to see it, but will be one squatty looking LE. šŸ˜‰
  13. Finally back at the house. It was the awning battery. The freezing weather killed the original Alkaline batteries I'm sure. Will use Lithium this time. For future quick reference: Wind Sensor If awning is equipped with a wind sensor, it is located on inside surface of lead rail. P1. Slide sensor cover from sensor base. Then de. tach sensor from sensor cover. See (FIG. šŸ˜Ž & (FIG. 9). 2. Remove old alkaline batteries and discard. See (FIG. 10). 3 NOTICE Do NOT use rechargeable bat- teries (NiMH, NiCD, etc.). Disposable Lithium or Alkaline type batteries are recommended. Install new batteries (size AA) in wind sensor. See (FIG. 10). Make sure battery polarity is matched cor- rectly to battery compartment. An LED will light momentarily (on circuit board) when new batteries are installed. See (FIG. 10). 4. Reattach wind sensor to sensor cover, and in- stall onto sensor base securely. See (FIG. šŸ˜Ž &
  14. They do run electric to the bath for a compost toilet fan, if the trailer has that option.
  15. Still sad they didnā€™t post here, though understand given they own their own FB page.
  16. That sounds like it. Thanks
  17. Weā€™re away for three weeks and my friend was checking in on our property. He noticed a beeping sound near/above the door. It wasnā€™t louder inside, but unless the awning has a battery and low power notice weā€™re not sure what it is. My first thought was fire or monoxide sensor, but not local to each. Beep about every three to five seconds. I guess it could be in the hull and resonating to the outside, but that seems like a stretch. Thoughts?
  18. I donā€™t boat, but have lusted after a Nordic Tug for 20 years, back before they were building the longer hullsā€¦.probably because my sea kayak was a bit cramped back in the 90s. šŸ˜‰ https://www.nordictugs.com
  19. Yes and Yes

  22. John, given the demand for that car and the niche market of buyers, Iā€™d price it high with new Michelin or similar. BUT, if they present well, just black the sidewalls and move on.
  23. I usually stay there when going to the Overland Expo from San Antonio, but have never seen the mountains with snow, since itā€™s May. Really nice little park.
