Meg - First and most important - Welcome! I do not have a shower curtain in my Elite II. Given the smooth walls of the Ollie, it is very easy to simply use a squeegee and/or a synthetic towel to dry the shower after use - about a two minute job. The Easy Start allows you to run the air conditioner off a small generator (2000 watts). If you are going to seriously boondock in hot climates then the Easy Start is something you should seriously consider unless you want to have a generator of at least 3500 watts. No, the microwave is not "permanent" and since Oliver doesn't give you a credit for it if you chose to not have it then I think you might as well get it. However, if you are certain that you really don't want it then the "finished" cabinet is very nice for either a small toaster oven or small microwave or for additional storage that is already fairly limited in the Elite I. GJ - Be a bit careful to not drop your tire pressures too low. According to Goodyear Tires, "Just as colder weather can cause PSI to drop, excessive heat can cause your tire pressure to temporarily increase. For every 10 degrees of increased temperature, your tires can be expected to increase by 1-2 pounds of pressure." Therefore, if your tires increase temperature any more than 10 to 12 psi and there isn't some other mitigating factor (like the tires being in direct sunlight) then the tires are most likely under-inflated. An under-inflated tire is more likely to be the cause of a blow-out given that excessive heat weakens the carcass. Bill

Yep - these "chain covers" are actually a mesh. Therefore, they are certainly not sealed from the elements. If your chain was rusting before putting these over the chains then they will still be rusting when you take the covers off (if you ever do that). However, you will not see that rust and the covers are easily cleaned with a strong stream of water and/or a light brush. Bill p.s. My cover don't look any different than they did the first day I installed them a couple of years ago.

GJ- The Rock Tamers have a couple of "bolts" that are supposed to be used to both "lock" the Tamers in place and to help "level" everything. In my case, I had to install a couple of small shims in order to get it looking level with the rear bumper. There is absolutely no problem with the backup camera and the "zoom" feature still works great when hitching. However, the bars at the top of the Rock Tamers do interfere with the sensors in the bumper. This causes them to "sense" that I'm too close to something and they sound an "alert" whenever I put the truck into reverse. I could adjust these so that they would sit below the level of these sensors but I don't like the looks of them that way. So, I simply put up with the warning.
