  1. Absolutely, they treat their customers like family!
  2. I just wanted to share the absolute amazing experience we had with David and Kristine Hess, Jeff and other team members at Sea Biscuit Metal Designs, Johnson City Tennessee. We had the Oliver rear basket installed today. What great service! David, Kristine and Jeff greeted me, and Jeff got right to work on the installation. The rear basket is extremely well crafted, made with high grade materials and expert craftsmanship. An awesome addition to the Oliver!! For those who do not have the Oliver OEM rear bumper receiver option (like us), no problem as Sea Biscuit will provide the hardware necessary to mount the rear basket. Now what happened next is service I have never experienced before! Long story short, after all the hugs from Kristine and David, (yes they love meeting and hanging out with their customers!) I hooked up the trailer, did all my checks, put the tv in drive and as I slowly took off I felt some resistance. Must be the emergency brake I thought, well, turned out I forgot to raise the tongue jack! Yes, I know, I guess I was just so impressed and excited about the new basket, and the excellent service that I forgot about the jack! I usually use 6”x6” blocks on all the jacks for 2 reasons, to avoid extending the jacks too much, and secondly for this exact reason, ie if for whatever stupid reason I forget to raise the jacks they will just slide of the blocks. Needless to say, the tongue jack inside shaft was bent backwards approximately 45° and buckled. Anyway, that’s when David, Jeff and team jumped in, Dave cut off approx. 4” where the shaft was bent/buckled, aligned the 2 straight pieces then welded them back together. This was shortly before noon, so the team worked into their lunch hour and David had to push out another appointment! I obviously offered compensation, but David refused! I cannot express my gratitude enough to David, Jeff and team! Sea Biscuit is a great company and David, Kristine and their crew are awesome people!!! Thank you so much again!
  3. Gary, also touch base with John@jd1923 , he installed 2 Epoch batteries not too long ago.
  4. Yes love these Hasko vacuum suction cups, we also have a dozen or so all over inside the trailer, including below the street side bed for shoes…wife’s idea!
  5. lol….ok, so I like the size of the mini, but I think even if it was available I still would’ve gone with the G3. I don’t like the fact that the router is inside the mini dish, yes I know it’s weather proof, and I have a 3rd party router anyway, but just the thought of the dish with built in router put me off a little bit. It’s probably not an issue at all, just me being silly! 🤪
  6. Yes me John. I have my Starlink G3 and cell going through my peplink max br1 pro 5g. Here are the YouTube videos that helped me set it up.
  7. Yup, I just saw a previous post by @John and Debbie stating he saw the 3500lbs on the label and assumed that was for the axle.
  8. Not doubting you, it’s just as far as I know they switched to the 5200 pound axles end of 2021, can you post a pic of the label?
  9. Maybe this post will provide you with some answers.
  10. I was wondering same, we have a 2023 with the D52 axles. @John and Debbie check the label on your axles, if you see D52 you have the 5200 lbs axles, the 3500lbs on the label refers to the springs (2 x 1750lbs), NOT the axles. See pic.
  11. Hey John we are just up the road from you…Indianola Beach! How long will you be there, we were thinking of taking a drive to Corpus Christi area, maybe we can swing by to say hello?
  12. Ok just throwing something out there, with tires you don’t just look at load capacity of 1 tire for a VH, isn’t it the same with the chains, ie 2 chains/shackles = 2T load capacity? Also, the GVWR of 7000lbs is vertical load carried by the tires/suspension/axles of the trailer, the load capacity of the shackles is a horizontal/tucking load.
  13. I don’t have a brick in this wall, a horse in this race or a dog in this fight, I just stumbled upon this “older” video from James of The Fit RV testing a smart plug…. so just an FYI!
  14. Yup, our empty 20# tanks consistently takes 4.5 gallons = 6.75 gallons for a 30# tanks, so you have overfilled your tanks by 0.05 gallons John!😜
  15. I already have the 1/2” trim lok drip rail above the windows and door! 😊
  16. Just an FYI on lubricating dump valves/seals by Ray from ”Love your RV and boat”.
  17. Welcome Thomas, what is your hull#? Anyway, here are a couple posts about Nature’s Head install in Oliver.
  18. Art, it’s still early and I haven’t had my coffee yet, so maybe I’m reading it wrong, but didn’t you mean to say “they have kept that typical paint-rub & oxidation from happening on the bottom”? 😊
  19. I was looking at CGI and MAC (Master Applied Coating) and decided to go with MAC The appeal of MAC’s proprietary ceramic is their claim of it being a permanent application and made in the USA, it would have to be sanded off to remove it. I have an appointment with MAC April 2nd, time will tell I guess!😊
  20. @Galileo Per my previous post, we have a 2023 and I removed the awning seal and installed THIS 3/4” drip rail that works very well. Only issue is the drip rail comes wrapped in a coil and having it straightened up was a mission, almost impossible. Even after I managed to get the drip rail somewhat straightened out and stuck to the side (below awning) of the RV, the front top edge of the "J" is still warped, even now 4 months later. That said, it’s just aesthetics and I still like it much better than the stock seal, all it did was catching junk and it was hard to clean behind it.
  21. Was great meeting you and Chris, save travels back to Prescott and “normal” live!
  22. Here’s another Oliver thread with good read about the shock bushings.
  23. X2 what John said! I love these friction hinges, they work wonderfully. I don’t have to use the latch = no pressure against that back stop. I can leave the door open when there is a breeze and the door stays where I put it and no more fly away door! 😊
  24. Received your dm @topgun2 Bill, I responded and invited John @jd1923
