  1. John, from this pic pretty sure just hiding behind the foam pad!😜
  2. I used it more than a year ago on our Airstream, had issues with the AC control board and used some of it. Was recommended on the airstream forum, and it worked, but I’m not a fan of the fingertip dispenser, not easy to control the flow!
  3. @John E Davies and @Rivernerd I have this dielectric grease, I don’t think it’s silicone based, can I use it?
  4. @johnwen did you end up finding a different brand?
  5. Maybe this one?
  6. @chiwald I prefer google search, i.e. "site:olivertraveltrailers.com forum portable solar panels", with portable solar panels being the search words you are looking for at olivertraveltrailers.com Here are a couple search results: - Portable solar panels - solar panel suitcase
  7. Yah definitely not screws, they look like rivets but I don’t think they are rivets…..or not rivets that I’m familiar with. Here’s a pic of my door before I installed the friction hinges, should be the same on your 2022. and here’s a pic of my door with the friction hinge.
  8. Yup sorry already pointed out to me, I edited my original post with correct link........this one
  9. @2008RN I really like this idea, how did you cut the holes for these deck plates?
  10. Same here - largely because of what we've gleaned from this and similar threads.... Ditto!
  11. I have never charged my batteries (lithium platinum package) with 15A shore power, but I believe when doing this you have to change setting #28 in the Xantrex app from 25 to 15.
  12. Here you go, in the 2023 manual, there’s more good stuff here
  13. Yes, I like it a lot, works wonderfully, I don’t have to use the latch, I can leave the door open when there is a breeze and the door stays where I leave it….and no more fly away door!😊
  14. Ok if it will help, here's the plumbing diagram of a 2017, not sure if it’s the same as your 2016.
  15. Oops good catch, and good find! Still a lot cheaper vs etrailer! I really love these friction hinges!
  16. Yes 2 sets of the Lippert hinges, the door comes std with 3 non friction sets, I installed 2 of the Lippert sets in between (top and bottom of the stock middle set). I couldn't find the 2 pack on the Amazon.com site, bought mine from the Canadian site here ***Edit 15 Nov 2023 - and from US site here
  17. What @MAX Burner said, we love our friction hinge assy. from Lippert. You can also get it here on Amazon.
  18. That’s a big move and complete about turn for him then! Wish him all the best, but with his personality and character he’ll be fine!
  19. Very interesting Brian, do you maybe have a post with this mod (quick search but couldn't find anything), and why not the grey tank as well?
  20. @xmavrick it’s been a while, just wondering if you installed the shut off valves?
  21. No heat pump in our Truma.😔 In our AS we had a ducted Dometic AC with heat pump, so the heat pump being part of the AC pumped heat through the ducts. It was good to use down to approx. 42 deg. Fahrenheit, and I loved it.
  22. I have this saved from a post…can’t remember exactly who from and when, but if it will help I can send you the pdf
  23. Great thanks for the prompt response!😉
  24. Ah gotcha, was just curious because those options were on my 2023 build sheet. Thanks!
  25. @NCeagle, I really like your 2 mods, just a few questions..... 1) Why did you go with AC fans and not DC? 2) If you had to do it all over again would you use the same 2 smart fans? 3) Are you still happy with the design/results, would you change anything? Thanks!
