  1. Yup sorry already pointed out to me, I edited my original post with correct link........this one
  2. @2008RN I really like this idea, how did you cut the holes for these deck plates?
  3. Same here - largely because of what we've gleaned from this and similar threads.... Ditto!
  4. I have never charged my batteries (lithium platinum package) with 15A shore power, but I believe when doing this you have to change setting #28 in the Xantrex app from 25 to 15.
  5. Here you go, in the 2023 manual, there’s more good stuff here
  6. Yes, I like it a lot, works wonderfully, I don’t have to use the latch, I can leave the door open when there is a breeze and the door stays where I leave it….and no more fly away door!😊
  7. Ok if it will help, here's the plumbing diagram of a 2017, not sure if it’s the same as your 2016.
  8. Oops good catch, and good find! Still a lot cheaper vs etrailer! I really love these friction hinges!
  9. Yes 2 sets of the Lippert hinges, the door comes std with 3 non friction sets, I installed 2 of the Lippert sets in between (top and bottom of the stock middle set). I couldn't find the 2 pack on the Amazon.com site, bought mine from the Canadian site here ***Edit 15 Nov 2023 - and from US site here
  10. What @MAX Burner said, we love our friction hinge assy. from Lippert. You can also get it here on Amazon.
  11. That’s a big move and complete about turn for him then! Wish him all the best, but with his personality and character he’ll be fine!
  12. Very interesting Brian, do you maybe have a post with this mod (quick search but couldn't find anything), and why not the grey tank as well?
  13. @xmavrick it’s been a while, just wondering if you installed the shut off valves?
  14. No heat pump in our Truma.😔 In our AS we had a ducted Dometic AC with heat pump, so the heat pump being part of the AC pumped heat through the ducts. It was good to use down to approx. 42 deg. Fahrenheit, and I loved it.
  15. I have this saved from a post…can’t remember exactly who from and when, but if it will help I can send you the pdf
  16. Great thanks for the prompt response!😉
  17. Ah gotcha, was just curious because those options were on my 2023 build sheet. Thanks!
  18. @NCeagle, I really like your 2 mods, just a few questions..... 1) Why did you go with AC fans and not DC? 2) If you had to do it all over again would you use the same 2 smart fans? 3) Are you still happy with the design/results, would you change anything? Thanks!
  19. I don't see the 2-5/16” Bulldog Coupler or Andersen No-Sway Hitch System as an option on the 2024 build sheet!
  20. Nope not on mine Like @Patriot said, on the newer models we need 4-5 pumps to sufficiently protect the new flush port system. I remember reading somewhere this change was put in place to meet new codes for the black tank system, something to do with ensuring no backflow of waste water can get inside the water supply line. Here's a pic of the new layout with longer flush system.
  21. Yup still have them on my 2023, and also have one that failed and replaced by Oliver!
  22. @Fritz this is exactly what has been bugging me! I have the lithium platinum package and could never understand why my batteries, when fully charged, show 13.6V and not 14.4V on the Lithionics app. BIG thanks for clarifying this!🙌
  23. Haha yes I can’t even use the excuse of driving on the wrong side of the road up here! I’ll just blame it on Siri!😜
  24. Not sure it’s the same in all states and provinces, but in Ontario if you do a trade in, you don’t pay tax on the trade in amount. When we sold our SOB to buy a used airstream from a dealership, we sold the SOB privately, but did the deal through the airstream dealership, so it was considered a trade in, and we did not pay tax on the sold/trade in value of the SOB.😁
  25. Oh yes @mossemi you are right. Also @Vector - Lanham, it’s on the street side not curb side like I said! Damn I had to really think about that now!😜
