  1. Try drawing with a pencil and use the watercolors to fill in the spaces.
  2. Some pictures of your hinge would be helpful here. I believe these are rivetted in using aluminum rivets, if I'm not mistaken. Those are prone to breakage.
  3. I had a pump that turn on and off every hour or so. I also thought it was a bad pump. Turned out the toilet flush valve was leaking.
  4. Congratulations and welcome. Hopefully, we can all become friends and join up somewhere for some hotdogs and music.
  5. Jucy's is OK. A much better burger can be found at Bubba's Fat Burgers in Gilmer, TX. My local go to.
  6. It took you SIX years to figure it out? I salute you, sir.
  7. I came to say something, but Mike said everything I had planned on putting into my post and he did it better than I would have done. I will pull out the one sentence that means the most, "There are Pros and Cons to every class of RV." Match your style of camping to the trailer/MH you want.
  8. I am 6'3" and at 240 lbs, I fit fine. Laying on my back, my head is clear by about an inch or so and the balls of my feet touch the cabinets. This is likely because I am not lying flat, head on pillow and butt sinking into the mattress. It doesn't bother me since I rarely stretch out on the bed. I sleep on my side and 30 inches wide is just about right. The bathroom is cramped but I don't spend much time in there anyway, so I don't care.
  9. I've been planning to throw together a "tool kit" for my Oliver. I have a lot of tools, but I don't want to load up an entire professional automotive set when I will just need a few certain size wrenches, screw drivers, etc. So, I will start inventory on most of the nuts and bolts and select sockets that work. For the other stuff, I have a Kobalt screwdriver set with extension rods and multiple bits. I have never used a torque wrench on electrical connections. I just use the @jd1923 good-nuff technique and I have never had problems. However, if you want to get some tools, I suggest Harbor Freight. I have Snap-on, Matco, and the old Craftsman tool sets before China took them over. They have worked well and lasted about 35 years. They still look new. However, if you don't plan to use these tools professionally, Harbor Freight tools will be fine.
  10. I have the Truma heater and even though the ducting seems better, it still flows about 80% to the bedroom area and the bath is cold. I will have to pull some things apart when it gets cooler outside. It got up to 100 today with 70 humidity. I could always run the ac I suppose.
  11. I agree with this. I do not rotate trailer tires. My cattle trailer, horse trailer, cargo trailer, camper trailers and heavy-duty equipment trailer never had their tires rotated and I never had an issue with uneven wear. Now my vehicle tires are another matter altogether.
  12. There are numerous other "holes" in the basement for air infiltration, but the worst offender is the one right where the dog lays down. Thanks for the idea.
  13. My cows always peed in the pond while drinking their fill.
  14. Congratulations. My wife and I are coming up on 10.
  15. We have a lot of mud daubers here in Texas and this was my very first thought when you talked about that noise. I hate those things.
  16. I have the Truma Aventa Eco in my LE2. I believe it is a 13.5 btu unit. It seems to drop the temperature down from mid 90s within about 10 minutes or less and that is in full sun. A smaller unit should be able to handle it, but it will run longer. On the flip side, an AC unit that runs for a longer amount of time will remove more humidity, so if you live in northern climates with cooler temps and higher humidity, a smaller unit is the right way to go in my opinion.
  17. I just bought a Blackstone 22 for my upcoming adventures. Would you mind sharing a photo or two of the rack you built to your slide?
  18. I just hope it gets out there soon enough to prevent someone from having a bad day.
  19. Those Cyber Trucks look cool to me, but not sure if I want to shell out 100k for something that only goes 340 miles before needing 17 hours to recharge.
  20. I agree that the solar panel is a real drag.
  21. I walk around my trailer twice before moving it. Double check everything.
  22. Gotta be able to pull it with my truck....
  23. If you have the Isotherm Cruise 130, it draws an average of 400 watts per day, or 16.7 watts per hour, if what I have read is correct. Your 260AH batteries have 3,120 watt in them which will run this fridge for 7.8 days from 100% charge to 0%. Of course they would shut off before that to protect themselves. Your 240 watts of solar should produce 900 to 1500 watt-hours per day assuming it is sunny, and they are clean, which should allow you to run this fridge indefinitely by itself. You should probably look at other electrical items you are using.
