jd1923 Posted October 24 Posted October 24 If you want a night out, great food with views of Lake LBJ, maybe River City Grill for your last night here. We’ve eaten here so many times. Love the double pork chop dinner, now at $21. Get here early as they always run out of baked potatoes and you don’t want to miss that! 2 Chris & John in Prescott, AZ | 2016 EII #113 | '01 Ram 2500 Cummins!
Donna and Scott Posted October 24 Author Posted October 24 Well its a wrap for the 2024 Texas Oliver Rally . I have been asked by several if this will happen next year. I am willing to do this again so here is some things I would like to know. Is there another location you would prefer that will accommodate the volume of trailers that would like shore power, nice facilities, things to do in the area? Time frame would still be around the same as this year. Or would ya'll rather make this a two year away rally? Need some feedback on this. Thanks to everyone this Rally is a success. 3 1 #837 started this new traveling experience in the summer of 2021 and loving it. TV is 2020 Durango Citadel or 2021 Dodge 1500 diesel V6. 2021

Thank you, Donna, for taking the initiative and making this happen! We'd be in for another. We'll make it to the annual Oliver rally in Alabama one of these days but this was a great option to have until we do. While we enjoyed Inks Lake (and it happened to be one of the Texas state parks we hadn't been to before), I think it would be nice to change the location for a bit of a different experience next time. Every 2 years sounds reasonable and would be less work but that's also quite a while for people who were unable to make this one. Also, thanks to Jason Essary for taking the time to drive over and spend part of his day with us. We enjoyed the conversation with those we were able to meet and hope to see you again. We also got to catch up with a couple who looked at our trailer before they purchased. We ended up leaving a little earlier than planned for work reasons so missed some of you but hopefully we'll have the opportunity again in the future.
