I serviced my VIP 3000 power jack a couple days ago. I have Hull 329 (2018) and I think Oliver has used these jacks for quite awhile (and continues to use them, I believe). In my exuberance (I've done this before) I disconnected the light and up/down switches and re-greassed the gears but did not take any photos to help with reassembly. Now I'm scratching my head trying to figure out what goes where. Can anyone help? The last pic shows the top of the jack motor...it has 3 wires (2 black and 1 red with one of the black wires being thicker at 10GA while the other black wire and the red wire are both 12 GA). The second to last pic shows the motor head cover and wires for the light. I do know that the orange wire is grounded on the top of the motor head. The second pic shows the switch for the jacks up/down control and the first pic shows the switch for the light. The manufacturers wiring diagram is of little help (for me). Maybe a pic or 2 showing what goes where on your rig? I know this is kinda specialized and a big ask. I would appreciate the help. Thanks.

Thanks Mossemi. I appreciate the response. I did see this and there were a couple inconsistencies between the drawing and my "as built". For example I have 3 wires coming out of motor (4th and last photo), not 2 as shown on drawing. Also, there is a double terminal on the toggle that controls the jack with connection for 2 wires one of which is shown on second pic. This is not indicated on drawing.  This will teach me to take plenty of pics before removing stuff. Lesson learned....again. I think what would be most useful is if someone could send a couple pics of their jack showing the terminals and which wires go where.  Thanks again.

These did the trick! Thank you very much!!

You owe Mossemi a pop or two.

These photos were taken while camped in some forsaken campground where (I'm sure) they had mosquitos as big as 747's and alligators and all things of that nature. 🤣

Just pull in to camp and the rear drive side jack will not got down. I'm assuming it's electrical at the toggle. This is likely associated with removing the entire propane compartment from the trailer a couple weeks ago to spray with vortex for rock protection.  My knowlege of electricity is minimal although I do have a circuit tester in my tool kit.

Can anyone tell me where to source the double toggle switch box for the rear Jacks or chime on how to go about isolating the power failure.

Did you check the fuse, there’s one for each stabilizer jack; for the two rear jacks, located under the street side bed area.

Our rear streetside jack stopped working during a trip a couple of years ago.  First checked the fuse as Ron suggested above, but it was not blown. Next, checked the wires at the switch.  It turned out one of the spade connectors had come apart. Reinserted the connector and checked the others.  Haven't had a problem since.

thanks for the tips about the fuses. don't understand where to find the jack fuses. Are you directing me to the master fuse box under the dinette? or are directing me to dig around under the street side rear bed.. and did you say both right and left rear jack fuses are located together under the bed? please clarify

will also check the connections

@taylor.coyote

This picture is from below the front hatch under the street side bed of my 2017 LE2.  The yellow fuse holders are for the 3 Barker jacks, 1 for each jack.  There are 2 fuse holders for the front jack, 1 under the bed and 1 outside by the front jack.

Good luck,

Mossey

Although you likely have an electrical-related issue, the stabilizers jacks can also be manually operated.

Thanks for the additional coaching.  The good news: the jack is stuck in the up position / no manual cranking needed.

Mossemi, thanks for the location/pics of the jack fuses. I'll think good thoughts and hope its just the fuse.

Mossemi, the electrical bus for the connections is located next to the master power shut off under the street side bed. This said the bus has nothing connected. Any other suggestions where I can find the fuses for the nose and rear jacks?

Your hull #124 was built before that buss modification was added. All of the early models were fused at the jacks, just like the front jack. You should find an inline fuse in the power wire near the rear jack heads.
