jd1923 Posted December 12, 2025 Posted December 12, 2025 Who's going and when? The Q Big Tent runs Jan 17-25. The Fiberglass RV Gathering will run from February 6-9. I have time off work second half of Jan through first week of Feb and we'd like to visit for a few days when other Oliver Owners are there. Love to meet old friends and new! We weren't so much for Dome Rock (pic1) last year except for meeting Oliver owners! It's a bit crowded with the constant whine of nearby I-10 (and too many little Casitas)! Later we stayed several miles up Plomosa Rd NE of town. It was quiet up on the ridge with great views (pics 2-3). Hope to meet y'all there! 😎 3 2 Chris & John in Prescott, AZ | 2016 EII #113 | '01 Ram 2500 Cummins!

John, your pics of the spot you stayed there on the ridge do not do that view any justice, you found a winner there with unbelievable views, will definitely see you there next year….2026/2027! 1 1 **Sold😞** 2023 Elite II, Hull# 1386, Lithium Platinum Package (640AH, 400W Roof Solar, 3000W Xantrex Inverter), added 400W Renogy Solar suitcase with Victron MPPT 100/30 CC, Truma water heater & AC TV: 2024 Silverado 2500HD 6.6L 10-Speed Allison

Nan, given you’re a female alone, we certainly understand. If you want to visit Arizona, come to Prescott and see us first! 😂 The Q is only worth going to see other Oliver Owners (otherwise there are 100s of better boondocking sites in AZ! Slow response on this thread! Hey @ScubaRx, if you’re coming, dinner is on us this time! Hey @MAX Burner, it’s perfectly OK you have a new TT! Love to see it. i started this thread to poll those who frequent our great Forum. We have 3 weeks off and if the Q is a bust, we’re going to head towards Tucson, get there asap to tour the SE corner of Arizona. Didn’t want to go that way for a while, but the boarder is secure, god bless. Hope to see y’all! 😎 2 Chris & John in Prescott, AZ | 2016 EII #113 | '01 Ram 2500 Cummins!

aaronorange Posted December 21, 2025 Posted December 21, 2025 #1238 would love to camp near other Oliver’s and fiberglass RVs. Where is the location for the fiberglass RV gathering? (February 6-9th) - Also any gatherings for the Big Tent time frame. This will be our first year going to Quartzite. Any planned meet-ups around the big tent time period? 1 Hull #1238 - Legacy Elite II, TB. TV 2017 Tundra TRD.

Where is the location for the fiberglass RV gathering? (February 6-9th) - Also any gatherings for the Big Tent time frame. This will be our first year going to Quartzite. Any planned meet-ups around the big tent time period? We have traditionally camped at or near these coordinates off Dome Rock Road west of Quartzsite. N 33.642439 W 114.307646 If you're coming into Quartzsite on Interstate 10 from the East (headed West) do not take any of the exits marked Quartzsite. If you do you will likely become snarled in traffic. Instead, continue West on I-10 until you see the Exit 11 - Dome Rock Road sign. Exit to your right and follow the road turning left to go back under the Interstate. Continue on a few hundred feet and turn left onto Dome rock road. You will begin to see folks camped along either side of the road but within 2-3 miles you will be nearing the coordinates I've provided. From there we will be off the right side of the road and you'll just have to look for a group of Oliver's. We should not be too hard to spot. Most of us will be there around the 2nd to 3rd week in January and will likely stay for a couple of weeks. This time frame will allow you to visit the Big Tent show. Hope to see you there. Contact me directly if you need more information. 1 7 Steve, Tali and our dog Rocky plus our beloved dogs Storm, Lucy, Maggie and Reacher (all waiting at the Rainbow Bridge) 2008 Legacy Elite I - Outlaw Oliver, Hull #026 | 2014 Legacy Elite II - Outlaw Oliver, Hull #050 | 2022 Silverado High Country 3500HD SRW Diesel 4x4

Thanks @ScubaRx Given the schedule this year, we should have a handful of Olivers during the timeframe of the Big Tent. The Fiberglass Rally is much later this year and I believe most Olivers will be gone by February. Looking forward to meeting you! We don't use e-bikes (hoping somebody else would comment). If you have the fat-tire kind you'd be good to get around town. Lot's of dirt, sand and gravel and a paved service road from Dome Rock to town. I would think it would be easier to get around vs. parking a truck at the big tent. 1 Chris & John in Prescott, AZ | 2016 EII #113 | '01 Ram 2500 Cummins!

If you have fat tire e-bikes take them, great to zoom around in the desert and town. Just watch out for traffic in town, gets very busy during the big tent event. 2 **Sold😞** 2023 Elite II, Hull# 1386, Lithium Platinum Package (640AH, 400W Roof Solar, 3000W Xantrex Inverter), added 400W Renogy Solar suitcase with Victron MPPT 100/30 CC, Truma water heater & AC TV: 2024 Silverado 2500HD 6.6L 10-Speed Allison

jd1923 Posted Friday at 05:22 PM Author Posted Friday at 05:22 PM (edited) It was a great week at the Q. Thought I'd share some pictures! 😂 First couple of nights everyone was over by that odd looking trailer with all the lights (actually VERY comfortable inside), where Art @MAX Burner generally has his famous Blackstone cooking away! Wednesday night was dinner at our camp where Chris cooked an Italian feast. Pasta and meat sauce, salad and cheesy garlic bread were a big hit! 😎 In attendance were Steve & Tali, Art, Lance and Gary, Rhonda and Ruth (towing some nice older hulls). Don't forget the pups; Rocky, Oscar, Hessie and our Charley. We all made new friends when just a few hours prior Steve & Nancy arrived from northern Indiana towing Hull # 166! Barely a mention of their furnace not working and @ScubaRx was off to their rescue, removing the sail switch on their Atwood furnace which needed cleaning and alignment, soon it fired right up! Later their younger dog Buddy made a stir with the old dogs! And we kept some up past their bedtimes! 🤣 Edited Friday at 05:24 PM by jd1923 1 3 1 Chris & John in Prescott, AZ | 2016 EII #113 | '01 Ram 2500 Cummins!
