  1. I guess that would qualify you and Tali as "rolling stones".😎 Mossey
  2. Thank you Steve for that excellent explanation. You made it simple enough for me to understand. And the usable AH's aren’t much more than a single Battle Born 100 AH LiFePO4 battery. Mossey
  3. That sounds like a nice battery package and I guess the label indicates that they are 140 amp-hour rated, giving you 280 usable amp-hours. Excellent battery choice! Mossey
  4. SeaDog, I have a pump switch in the bathroom and another on the kitchen switch panel. Do you have two or three switches? An external pump switch near the Boondocking port would be more desirable to me. I keep a spray bottle in the basement with a bleach solution in it to disinfect the community equipment at the dump station. So the dump water hose and handle are reasonably clean when I rinse my hands after I remove and dispose my latex gloves. I try very hard to not transfer anything from my black tank to anything on the trailer or my tow vehicle. And after of 15 months of COVID-19 precautions, disinfectant wipes are always available in the truck. Let's go Lightning, Mossey
  5. As a general rule, accessory devices like grills and fire pits will not work with more than one regulator in-line. And it can sometimes be a challenge to eliminate the accessory regulator. And the rear quick connect is capped off because the original owner did not chose that option. Mossey
  6. Looks like they used 3 different LE2’s for the interior pictures. Nice catch, I probably would have missed that, Mossey
  7. FranKC, what is the amp-hour rating and brand of your 12v batteries? Were they stock Oliver batteries or did you purchase them after pickup? Mossey
  8. I don’t believe the window gaskets in my windows prevent water from getting into the bottom tracks of the windows. Have you water tested the window to verify the leak location? The water leaks I have experienced were caused by a leak in the street side light above the dinette window or water overflowing the slider track and then into the cabin, but this was caused by clogged weep slots. I do believe the earlier LE2’s did have black gaskets and maybe someone with a 2015 model could verify that and the gasket profile. I can send you a small piece of the Pelland gasket for test purposes if needed. Mossey
  9. No it does not. They are two separate lines. See the picture below. Mossey
  10. I fat fingered that post and you responded before I edited it. It now has the correct link in it and it is a different link than yours and I believe it was posted the next day. Mossey
  11. SeaDawg Moderators Posted May 22 So, I came across this the other day-- Separett's new Tiny composting toilet. As toilets go, it's rather pretty and sleek. And small. But a big capacity. And, like all the other composting toilet, a pretty big price tag. Comes in two versions, with a urine hose, or with a urine tank. Vent adaptor from Swedish 50 mm to us 1.5 inch vent pipe. Seat height is about 3" lower than nature's head. I wonder if the odor from the fan would really be any worse than the odor from the nature's head fan, or the vent stack from the Oliver black tank? I'm sure I'll see it pop up on one of the youtuber sites soon. I saw this on the Air Forums and thought of you and your post about the Separett Tiny. https://www.airforums.com/forums/f446/part-l-tmi-review-of-the-separett-tiny-1270-01-a-224421.html Mossey
  12. That door mat sure looks like a putting green to me. So I guess you practice putting when the fish aren’t biting. I think that’s great idea and you know I’m a big fan of multiple uses for items I carry while camping.😆 Mossey
  13. You are correct, that is the temperature switch. Mossey
  14. While I was troubleshooting my external refrigerator fan failure last year I found that the temperature switch was the point of failure. So I would suggest checking the voltage going to the fan first. If there isn’t any voltage at the fan, try by-passing the temperature switch before replacing the fan. I did replace my fan while I was replacing the temperature switch because it had become noisy. I didn’t use the same brand/model of fan. The fan I used had a higher RPM rating the original and it was also very noisy and required a PWM speed controller to slow it down to make it’s noise level adjustable. These are the replacement parts I used.
  15. Raspy, It’s good to hear from you on the Ollie forum. I often see your posts on the Fiberglass RV forum and it reminds me of the conversation about tire pressure you, topgun2 and I had at the OTT rally. And while staying at a Florida SP on my way to the non rally we had this year, I had the opportunity to tour a HQ19 in person. I saw it when I was heading to my site and the owner came over while I was setting up. I gave him a tour of the Ollie and then found out that he was in the Black Series. So he invited me over for a tour and it was quite a trailer. The owner was from Florida and quite happy with his experiences so far. Just when I got to see your new trailer, you are going to get another. So I’ll have to keep my eyes open for your new one. Congratulations, Mossey
  16. Krunch and I nearly finished "Where the Crawdads Sing” on our way home from Illinois this week, about 2 hours to go. I have some audible credits to use so I’ll check out the books mentioned in this thread. Unlike RB, I don't listen to anything heavy while driving. If I miss something in a non fiction book, it’s too distracting for me to find it while driving and fiction allows me to fill in the blanks instead of going back. I like pure entertainment whIle cruising down the road. And real books always put me to sleep so they take forever to finish and it’s much easier to find the place I reached before I feel asleep. Anything by W.E.B. Griffin, Lee Child, Michael Connelly fills my time while driving. While Ken Follett has some very good historical fiction books. And Sherry, I do believe "historical fiction" qualifies as an oxymoron. Mossey
  17. The spring arm Mike is referring to is highlighted in the picture. Mossey
  18. I used my white ones for a template and let the roll heat up some in the sun. Then cut them to length and they fit perfectly. After about 2 months they were all about an inch too short, so having some extra was a good thing for me. If I did it again, I would cut them long and force them in the corners better than my original attempt. If you are replacing all of the white window seals on an LE2, I think your measurements are short. Using your measurements, I come up with 205" or rounding up to 18'. Curb side bed window = 60" Street side bed window = 60" Dinette window = 60" Bathroom window =25" Mossey
  19. Although I am not a composting toilet owner at this time it is something I have thought about. The big reason is probably that the Minister of Finance is not in favor of any expenditures for "the dog house". And of course her involvement in dumping consist of operating the black tank flush valve and adding Calgon and Dawn to the tank when dump and flush are complete. And since she is short in stature, the composting toilets all seem a little tall for her. I guess my biggest concern is probably waste disposal and that seems to be a dirty little secret that doesn’t get discussed much. SeaDawg's link for the Separett Tiny was very interesting and would certainly be a candidate for me. The Tiny's manual suggest placing the #2 bags someplace for 12 months and then adding them to my normal household compost bins. I always thought I would handle it like a dirty diaper and maybe place it in the trash, but I really not sure of the proper procedure. Anyone who would like to share their disposal process, please chime in. I am still partial to the Sun-Mar GTG which is very similar the the Tiny in appearance and footprint, but does seem to be engineered with less potential part failures in my opinion. Both seem to have an easier maintenance program than the Nature’s Head toilet, but I have never dumped any of these models, so I am not speaking from experience. What do actual NH owners think of their experience compared to the possible use and maintenance of either the Separett Tiny or the Sun-Mar GTG? And since I have only thought about the vent plumbing of the GTG and I am not fond of the NH vent appearance, does anyone have knowledge of the standard toilets vent plumbing and would there be clearance above the black tank for a vent running from a composting toilet to the vanity area? Mossey
  20. It has been my experience that a fat wallet leads to low back problems, so my advice is to get 2 wallets and share the pain. And it does help with elevating back pain.😉 Mossey
  21. I updated the Drawer Lock post: I used the 5 lb. pull latch. I updated the Amazon link in the original post. I guess the supplier no longer offers the 5 lb. version and the original link pointed to an 8 lb. pull latch. Mossey
  22. Thanks for the update. It’s always a happy day when you buy something on sale and it meets your expectations. Mossey
  23. Sometimes moisture/water in the trailer side of the 7 way plug will cause phantom light issues. It is worth looking at. I always hang my plug with the plug-in connection pointing down to prevent moisture problems. Mossey

  25. The stock MaxxFan screen is similar to a no-see-ums screen door. It's really not a filter, it’s a screen. Mossey
