  1. I remember we helped @Ken_Judy replace their rear street side leaf spring at the 2022 rally. Do you know if the street or curb side is the most prevalent side for a failure? Mossey
  2. Thank you! @Gliddenwoods asked the question about increased hight and it caused me to wonder while I was at my keyboard. And now a question for all of the Dexter axle spec sheet interpreters, please see the attachment.
  3. I may have missed this fact in this great 17 pages and growing post, does Alcan make a 4 leaf spring pack that would also work for a LE2 and still be a capacity upgrade? Mossey
  4. Iโ€™m not quite sure that OTT created any defect. It seems to me that Chris's 2016 LE2 was built to the axle specifications used on his trailer and have been in service for about 8 years without any problems. Mossey
  5. @Roadlotus tows with a 2021 Nissan Titan XD. Mossey
  6. For anyone considering adding a marine hatch to their bath vanity, I did this mod and I love it! But I think that you should take a look at @Frank C's version at THIS link. His bath vanity mod was a unique approach that I think is worth considering! Mossey
  7. My order also had the LED lite. Thanks for the heads up! Mossey
  8. Your disconnect needs are different than mine, so I choose a location under the rear dinette seat. I was interested in a disconnect switch in order to allow battery removal for a future battery upgrade and I wanted less obstacles in the battery box. It will work for your needs wherever you place it. I have some small pieces of 4/0 cable and I can make a short jumper if you provide the connectors and cover the shipping cost. Mossey
  9. The fan and switch are the only active components in that circuit, so I would test their functionality with new wire. When I replaced my non working fan, I found the 3500 RPM operating speed a little noisy so I added a 12v PWM speed controller to slow it down. That's a possible hidden feature that test wiring would eliminate. I do leave my fan switch on 365 and let the thermostat control the fan operation. I guess that qualifies as AUTO mode. Mossey
  10. Hull 193 also has a fan switch on the main switch panel in the entry area. It is placed in the 12v B+ supply path to the fan. There is also an inline thermostat on the output side of the switch. My B- travels from the fan to the bottom left of the refrigerator compartment and connects to the 12v ground of the refrigerator. My thermostat was originally attached to the right end of the horizontal condenser fins just below the red B+ wire disappearing on the right side of the picture in your post. If you have a fan control thermostat it should be located on the red wire. Mossey
  11. After using Roadpass/Roadtripper/Campendium on a recent 6 week camping trip I have decided to cancel my subscription. I found it exasperating to use in its newest format and I switched to a Allstays Premium membership in the middle of our trip. Allstays and Campendium used to be free to use and I used both. I chose Campendium's paid subscription to begin with and was a happy camper until they completed their app migration. Mossey
  12. I used a mirror to locate them on the panel and then used my cell phone camera to take some pictures, lots of pictures in fact, until I got some that were readable and threw the bad ones away. Mossey
  13. Cool! They are excellent quality products. Mine is about 12 years old and Iโ€™ve replaced the rope a couple of times. Mossey
  14. Exactly! They guide my 4 AM forays to check the plumbing and I sleep with my ๐Ÿ‘€ closed, so they do bother my sleeping habits.๐Ÿ˜‰ Mossey
  15. Thank you for the trip report, very well done! Do I spy a WalkyDog on your bike? Mossey
  16. Ditto for me just prior to the OTTO rally this year. Thanks again Rivernerd and topgun2! Mossey
  17. Every solar panel that I have ever looked at has a specification label on the bottom/underside of the panel that has the information you are looking for. Below are examples from my Renogy 100A suitcase panel. Mossey
  18. The 2017 manual has a very nice set of schematics for 12v DC, 120v AC and both pressure and waste plumbing. I am pretty sure the 2018 manual and maybe the 2019 manual also had schematics. They are not always 100% accurate, but do provide a starting point. The schematic @jd1923 posted also shows check valves at either hot water heater that the original owner specified the build order. Mossey
  19. @Minnesota Oli I donโ€™t remember you mentioning the license plate hold open stick mod. Care to elaborate?๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™‰๐Ÿ™Š Hope you are not affected too severely by the high water and dam trouble in your area. Our prayers are with yโ€™all! Mossey
  20. @JDB_Traveler Any update on the lighting problem you are experiencing? Mossey
  21. Now would be a good time to invest in a multimeter or at the very least, a test light. My 2017 LE2 has an access port in the upper cabinet above the microwave which provides access to the back of the main lighting switch panel. It's a good place to check for a loose wire. Also check the upper and lower negative buss bars for a loose connection. Mossey
  22. That looks like a crimp on cap on the blue wire, which tells me that it is not a dangling wire but one that was terminated during installation. Mossey
  23. My TV is 12v. Is yours 120v? Mossey
  24. I often use a paper clip or any other small conductor for testing. Mossey
  25. @topgun2 Youโ€™re going to have do some math, which you are very good at. After all, who else can make a keeper out of every trout you catch? My SS 3/8" bolts measure 7" long from the bottom of the basket, so you will need to add the thickness of the bottom of the basket and your washers. The bottom of my basket sits 7/8โ€ above the main beam. I used a piece SS flat bar stock measuring 1/8"x 2.5"x7" instead of washers in the front and the base of my bike rack, which is bolted down inside the basket in the rear. I used the OEM flat bar stock underneath with 1/8" Styrene Butadiene Rubber between the flat bar and the aluminum frame member. I used a sheet of 3/8"x12"x12" Styrenes Butadiene Rubber cut down to size between the fiberglass and the bottom of the basket. FYI: my basket is solid aluminum, not the expanded aluminum version.
