  1. [postquote quote=175514][/postquote] I bet with some digging and research you could have the black series suspension made to fit the Ollie since the suspension is separate from the frame. $$$$$$
  2. I’ve recently posted about my vehicle with the Decked system. I am very happy with it. A lot of storage, plenty of deck room. It isn’t dust free. Nor is the inside of your cab, or the inside of your home. A little maintenance is all it takes. It’s all personal preference. What ever works best for you.
  3. They are still out there. When I went to (See an Ollie) I met the nicest couple who owned LE11 hull #2 with the amount of traveling they did and how well it looked I was convinced that buying an Oliver was the way to go.
  4. If you have time to wait. Sometime in August Chevy is introducing and will be available there 2020 1/2 ton Silverado with a tow rating of 12,500 plus now it is at 9000lb big difference, The new tow ratings for the 1/2 ton 1500 is the same as the current 3/4 ton 2500 HD. Worth looking into.
  5. I hadn’t heard of Harvest Hosts I checked the web site Sounds Very inviting. And your photos make it even more inviting Thanks for the Post.
  6. That’s what I love about this trailer. Anything and everything can be done on it. Like to see the pictures
  7. I’m am going to the dealer Monday for service. There is a recall notice for the Block heater wire. They said it was just a check to make sure the wire is not being pinched on the frame. 2017 Chevy Duramax.
  8. John please post when you separate the body from the frame for what ever the reason I’d like to see that. I think that’s the one thing you haven’t done yet.
  9. Your request seems like a big order to fill for a 23’ trailer of any kind. The nice thing about the Oliver is the versatility to be able to modify as you please, my suggestion if your are set on a Oliver is to look into used completely strip it out and try to put in every thing you desire. Buying new, then making all those changes would be a waste of extra money and I’m sure would void any warranty . Good luck
  10. This is my third Duramax. This one is 2017 High country comfort, plenty of Hp, and torque. For a stock unit My 2016 towed our 30’ airstream 25.000 miles around the country avg. 12-15 mpg never had the rpms over 3000 on western mountains. The Ollie is going to be amazing to tow. I’m sure the Duramax owners already towing the Ollie can attest to this. I’m a big fan of upgrades. Lifts. Big tires wheels, exhaust performance tuners etc. i had them all. For high mileage towing Stock is the better choice. For me anyway. Less headaches if there is a breakdown, also photo of 2016 with airstream Don’t know why the photo went side ways.
  11. Terms help. The little square thing with the thing that sticks out and moves up and down. Different color wire things that stick out the back with screw things on it. (Light switch) LS
  12. 373 gears are the norm these days. Somewhat the sweet spot for towing and fuel economy. Better say my opinion. 411s would be the tow gear but much needed fuel stops. Gear ratio shouldn’t be a issue if towing with 1/2 -3/4 pickup. All can tow the Ollie just fine.
  13. That is a very nice bike rack setup i would like to know more about it. Thanks
  14. A thought that was shared with me at the factory tour. Which i think would be over the top and set a new standard in the rv market. Design the bath area with the walk-in tub that they build. Over head shower head and a built in sink. As a molded unit. Great idea.
  15. I just installed a system called Decked. It has two large slide out draws about 4’ long it has a composite deck that will hold 2000lbs in each corner there are small cubby storage. Each unit conforms to your type of truck bed. Very easy to install about two hours. Cost about $1250. Free shipping. Working very well so far I have a good amount of weight in the draws and they roll very easy and close nice. Web site is Decked good video on the product.
  16. Thanks ScubaRx I didn’t see any diagram that showed this. I would think the 2019 elite II would have this in the system. one more question to ask at the Delivery.
  17. Question. I never had a extra 30 amp outlet for a generator on any trailer I’ve had. Are both 30amp receptacles tied into the main panel? Does the 30 amp generator receptacle have a cut off switch. If they are both connected to the main panel with no cut off switch. When you ran a generator would that back feed to the shore 30amp receptacle making that live. And visa versa. Hope i asked this in the simplest way possible.
  18. Please keep the forum posted very interested to hear the out come. thanks
  19. Ill also confirm the trailer valet is junk. It always kicks out from the coupler no matter how tight the collar is the emergency hand brake engages when you don’t want it to and on a slight incline you have to be hulk hogan to wrestle with it, that’s what happens when you try to go cheep. John DYI on you tube has some good self made movers out of a atv winch. Or check parkit 360
  20. You could also purchase a trailer ramp for changing flat tires no jack needed.
  21. Good luck nice setup. I’m hull 484 pickup is 6/28 seems like a million days away. Each day one day closer. The only bad part I’m trailer less the airstream is gone. and i wont be able to join the rally this month. I know, you veteran low hull numbers. Saying i remember back in the day when i was waiting for mine. Lol.
  22. I heard of a rumor that a Ollie flipped sustained some damage but is still on the road. Any truth to this?
  23. If you look at the wiring diagrams for 12v and 110v you should have these plugs at the night stand as standard equipment.
  24. SeaDawg Ollie still on order June 26th pick up. We lived in our 30’ Airstream trailer, the week without power.
