  1. I've been changing our bookings as well. We're going to getting new springs in Grand Junction CO in early October, but will also avoid the Black Canyon of the Gunnison which is on fire at this time. My wife is also distraught about the Brighty of the Grand Canyon Statue being lost in the fire. Photo below from Grand Canyon Historical Society FB Post yesterday.
  2. Here’s the service manual. 626800B_SM_N41,N500,N51.indd.pdf626800B_SM_N41,N500,N51.indd.pdf
  3. Sad news that the North Rim Grand Canyon Lodge and the Visitor Center have been destroyed by fire. Praying for those that have suffered loss in this tragic fire. North Rim information The North Rim is closed for the remainder of the 2025 season because of losses resulting from the Dragon Bravo Wildfire.
  4. Check out our website blogs for many various upgrades and changes we've made. I'll start you out with the Battery and Inverter Upgrade along with DC/DC charger post. You'll see even more once you look it over: 4-ever-hitched.com - Oliver Upgrades
  5. Updated New link: Oliver Outfitters Guide
  6. I carry a bottle jack from Harbor Freight and some "dunnage" boards to stack up for height adjustment as bottle jacks are short. If you have room one of these is great as it also has a catch mechanism that make it lock in place for safety. With this near the front lift point, and the rear jack and dunnage for the rear you can lift one whole side of the trailer if needed. Here's the link to the jack on Oliver Outfitters Guide in amazon. https://amzn.to/3Tm07XU I also have the ramps for quick tire change. Craig
  7. Galway Girl at home. Happy 4th!
  8. Saw a post on FB from Josh in sales saying there is a new model compressor fridge coming for 2026. It has a removable freezer section. Does anyone know the make/model yet?
  9. Bike torque wrench I use for electrical. https://a.co/d/6xEek4l you probably have any sockets you need already. if not here’s one in in-lb with sockets: https://amzn.to/3G4ja5W Craig

  11. Awning brand?
  12. That’s correct.
  13. Is there any water in the tank? If completely empty you could try first to check and clear inline filter located by the pump. This may be enough to break air pocket. Next try holding your external tank above the back bumper to give a bit of gravity help to the pump. alternatively If you have access to pressurized street water try pressurizing and running a bit then turn off water at street and try pump again just in normal position. 14. Our original 2019 Jensen tv cracked. We reported it to Oliver with no feedback given other than to adjust tire pressure down (which is set at 50psi) We then bought replacement of same size/brand Jensen that also cracked (yet the tV works fine). I McGivered together a solution on the road using a stiff thin cutting board and a bunch of JB Weld to beef up the back. Its ugly but has held for two years. I also use a chunk of foam between the arms when closed. Once I get back to my shop in July I plan to take the back off the original TV and fabricate a sandwich of stiffener inside and outside the back paying attention around the mount points. Happy travels.
  15. @Geronimo John I’m planning on doing the 4 leaf pack later this fall. Do you think for new shocks it’s better to use new Bulldog Shocks or stick with the OEM Monroe’s. I’ve changed out my Monroe’s about 2 years ago. I’m thinking of using new Bulldog’s and keeping the 2 best old Monroe’s as spare. Thanks for your advice. craig
  16. Original schedule as originally posted went through Nov 1
  17. Very interesting. 23’ living space. A/C under seats , heat in floor so no roof penetration.
  18. Let us know how it goes and what is decided
  19. Hopefully Hurricane Season has Subsided...I remember last year that it was terrible for inland places like East Tenn, N.Carolina
  20. Final update: After 3 internal fires and 2 failed complete Truma units, and a request for a Truma Escalation, the company (Truma) stepped up and replaced our whole water heater unit and external (kinda warped/melted) door under a "warranty exception" after finding another problem in the unit during testing of the new Recall burner. That make the 3rd Truma water heater installed in our hull. This one now is fully registered and has a 1 year warranty. Hope this one is the last we need to install. 21. I've noticed some comments/concerns that the 5 spring Alcan pack may be a bit too stiff for the EII with 3.5K axles. There apparently are Oliver Factory design concerns about how STIFF folks make their suspension when upgrading. Some flex is desirable for limiting shock to the frame and the trailer body. But if you're a true off grid person with tough terrain then that 5 pack may be perfect. I've been emailing Lew (owner of Alcan) to discuss options. For the same basic price Alcan will build the Oliver Springs as a 4 spring set with 2000 lb rating. They do this by leaving off the shortest (bottom) spring and adjusting other parts. This 4 pack still leaves in place the longer springs that cover all the way out to the last spring eye. Lew says they always recommend and provide wet bolts with brass inserts and the right size Ubolts etc. Lew also said they've had 4 Oliver's in this last week alone getting new spring packs. 22. Update on The Dexter Fail: I contacted Dexter using the warranty claim form on the Dexter Brakes web page. In that they asked all kinds of trailer info, and to include contacts at the dealership that did the install and also asked for pictures of all the failed units. After sending all that in via their web form, in 2 days they determined that they were "replaceable under warranty" Dexter agreed to replace all 4 brake assemblies with brand new manual adjust assemblies which they have shipped to my home. End to end the warranty claim to delivery of parts took 1 week. E-Trailer had nothing to do with it, in fact they gave me the wrong contact info for Dexter brakes.. Craig Hull 505
  23. Added a cooling fan following many other installations in our 3 way Norcold. Fan mounted by bolting onto a shall sheet of screen door panel from Home Depot. Air flows up from the heat chamber around back side of the panel and forced out vent slots by fans. Unit held in place with high temp furnace aluminum tape. Used high temp race for wires down to the bottom chamber where the control is mounted and wired into +12 / GND. Hope this helps anyone else doing a similar mounting process. Pix 1: Upper Vent area: Fans wouldn't fit directly onto vent cover due to space, so I chose to mount it at an angle that blows the hot air directly out the vents (which are slanted that direction). Wiring in the controller to the +12 and GND took a bit of cable splicing and re-building. In hindsight, if I'd had 3-way cable crimp connectors it would have been easier to wire in the controller.
