  1. FYI We updated our web page with pix and campground maps from our Fall trip (Sept-Dec): Sept-Dec 2025 Trip on Loneliest HWY, Alcan Springs, Grand Canyon & More We've also started planning our trip (Red Lines) to the Oliver Rally in October along with stops at NP and Quilt Shops (Missouri Star) and Ft. Wilderness. Craig & Rose
  2. Mike, Please turn a ticket in to Oliver Support as category of structural failure/battery box. My repair has held since 2022 when I turned in the ticket. I followed specific Oliver instructions on my repair as I was too far from the Factory for a repair. I've also had Oliver inspect each time I go back for service...and so far it's held in place. Craig
  3. Really imitated the Airstream 23' rear bath front twin unit. I noticed the roughness of the cabinet cutouts while they were showing off the storage......and how thin the facia panel is...this could be an issue for owners. Given they said this is a "production model" I'll bet they will need to put some type of corner moulding around the openings (to keep cuts off of hands) or some other way to reinforce the narrow remaining pillars. Once one of those cracks there will be no easy fix.
  4. The shocks are bulldog shocks. Bulldog HD Shock Absorber Replaces 555001 For Trailer Leaf Spring Retro Kit They were ordered on-line for around $145 from 4 state trucks. 19-050000007: Bulldog HD Shock Absorber Replaces 555001 For Trailer Leaf Spring Retro Kit
  5. We had the 4 leaf alcans put on in October and they are a great upgrade. They also gave me the extra leaves in case I wanted to add them in the future. I also replaced shocks and equalizer at the same visit an it only took Alcan 3 hours. Craig

  14. Just had Alcan redo our Hull 505 with new springs. Here's a video showing how they make the springs...starting at 1:14 mark for about 2 minutes. After a spring replacement with an Alcan 4spring pack we need to retorque nuts. Q) What size sockets are needed to tighten all the nuts after a spring replacement from Alcan? A) Here is the detail from Alcan: You need a 22mm or 7/8” socket and 150ft-lb torque wrench for Ubolts and inside shackle bolts Use a 21mm or 13/16” as backer wrench or standard depth socket on nuts outside of shackle. Mileages: Retorque u-bolts & shackles at 50mi, 100 mi and 500miles after installation, then yearly check. Torques Values: U-Bolts 90 ft-lbs Shackles: 65 ft-lb (Note - use 21mm or 13/16” backing wrench on outside of shackles) Also check lug nuts to wheel specs at each interval as well.

  17. In our 2019 factory installation the cell amp is mounted on the left wall of the cabinets above the dinette. This has an access port inside the upper part (right side) of the pantry, but the wires dive down a run along the back channel of the shelf forward to power switch and the antenna runs back through a hole into the pantry . The cell boost antenna is a magnet mount on the street side top rear of the roof.
