We typically carry both of our bicycles on a 1UP USA Super Duty bike rack. My wife and I are avid cyclist and enjoy rails to trails or just riding around in our CG. The total weight of our rack and bikes is appprox 110#. The bikes are locked down and covered with an XXL Yardstash cover I bought on Amazon.

Yes spendy for sure JD. It’s one of those buy once, cry once purchases. Ha!

I use a Y valve on the CG shore fresh water source for my extra hose “camp hose”. The rear bumper makes a nice shelf to support my water hose. My Andersen levelers came in handy as the slab had a slight fall to the street side to allow water to run off. This was at Teton Valley Resort in Victor, Idaho last fall, we love the Tetons. And this was a really nice base camp.

Your working too hard 😊. We have been using eley hose quick connects for several years and they have served us well and do not leak. A quick and simple way to hook up our water hose sans pliers. https://www.eleyhosereels.com/products/garden-hose-quick-connectors?srsltid=AfmBOorhl73lbWlG-pTRQ_aHjougxYv88x-aD4DfsGjJACCyuZjoAX0t More info here -

It might be a little easier with Air tags. Just got a reminder from my iPhone and Ipad to swap out old 2632 batteries for new. Done. ✅

After a call to Oliver Service on January 6 and leaving a brief v/m, I received a call back from Jason at Oliver. He said that the recall letters were goin out in batches and that Hull #600 to 699 letters were being mailed this week. We own Hull #634, and I received my letter mid week. ✅ The recall repair takes less than an hour. So if you have not received your recall letter yet, be patient Oliver is working on the letters in batches. If anyone does not receive a letter, may I suggest you reach out to Oliver Service. I know they will get you taken care of. Onward!

My recall letter arrived in the mail yesterday. This will be our 5th year using our Truma and happy to report, we have never experience any problems. Its been reliable and has served us well. We will have Oliver perform the recall and motor on.

Agreed, having lived a few years in no see um South Georgia/North Florida coast we found it’s just best to keep the windows closed and the AC on. We called those pests a flying set of teeth. 😂

Starlink monthly billing works as follows: Payment due date The first month's service fee is automatically charged on the payment due date, which is the earlier of the date you activate your Starlink Kit or 30 days after it ships. Recurring billing The service fee for each subsequent month is due on the monthly anniversary of the payment due date. Billing cycle The day you activate your Starlink becomes the recurring date for your statement. For example, if your billing cycle is June 28th–July 27th, you'll be billed on June 28th. Pricing Pricing may vary based on your location and selected equipment. Additional charges You may be charged additional automatic charges for Priority or Mobile Priority data if you opt-in to purchasing it after hitting your data limit. Payment methods Starlink accepts most credit cards, debit cards, and ApplePay. Alternative payment methods are supported in various regions. Pausing and reactivating If you pause your service, the month you pause is not pro-rated. If you restart your service, the month you restart is pro-rated.

A neat video promoting the “tubers” RV inspection business, Olivers Travel Trailers, and a good plug for your bird store business as well. Olivers really do sell themselves for those who have the means to spend the big bucks. I did not see anything in the video that has not been really covered in the many Oliver owner testimonial videos and Oliver University videos which I would watch if I were interested in purchasing an Oliver. We purchased at a what we feel was a really good price point in 2020 even got a nice discount due to an end of the month purchase. At today’s price point, only a short 5 years later, we would not be players on a new brand new Oliver. I have seen plenty of newer used 22,23,24 YM Olivers well optioned sell for much less than the original list price for various personal life reasons. Ouch. The price increase unfortunately does narrow the funnel of buyers to retired empty nesters with hopefully “disposable income” given that the OLE2 only sleeps three. Starting at 70k he was obviously talking about the Elite and not the Legacy Elite II. I have to admit the new price increase allows me to smile about our decision to buy when we did. All this said, we are happy with our 2020 LE2 and are sooooo glad we purchased when we did. Happy & Safe Travels and Happy New Year!

Steve and Deb Try to Stay Warm - January 15 - February ?
Patriot replied to Steve Morris's topic in General Discussion
Safe travels Steve, I once had the unique opportunity to meet Dale Earnhardt senior during my former career. I asked him how he was doing? He said just “I am just keeping it between the ditches”. 😄 So I will pass it forward, stay safe and keep it between the ditches and have fun! -
A bit of trivia - The voice narrating this short video is Phil Andrews, a decent guy and former sales rep who is no longer employed by Oliver.

Bill, Care to post up a link to your peal & stick lights?

Request for information about selling our Oliver LE II
Patriot replied to a topic in General Discussion
Paul, It may really be worth your time to dive in and get it advertised on Facebook Oliver TT for sale forum or just the FB market place. It’s not very difficult to list an item and you will be actually targeting/advertising to folks actually looking for an Oliver. In the last few years I have seen quite a few Olivers sold rather fast in the marketplace or the Oliver TT for sale FB page. If I were selling that’s where I would advertise. Best of luck, priced right it should move fast. -
What’s your favorite flashlight EDC (Everyday Carry)
Patriot replied to Patriot's topic in General Discussion
My Olight Valkyrie Mini 2 -600 lumens. A blindingly bright torch for things that go bump in the night. 😎 -
What’s your favorite flashlight EDC (Everyday Carry)
Patriot replied to Patriot's topic in General Discussion
Very nice Geoff. Streamlight crafts a fine torch. I am big fan of BenchMade knives. My EDC is the Adamas “auto” folder. This has been an excellent EDC knife. -
Having always been a fan of all things Olight, my bride, navigator, and copilot gifted me this Olight Arkfeld Ultra for Christmas and it is now an integral part of my EDC kit. I like the cool white light, green laser and UV light functions and how slim it is. Caution flag as the brightest CW light @1400 lumens is blinding as is the strobe. The UV light is impressive as well. It has a very strong clip for mounting on the bill of a hat or securing it in your pocket. Looking forward to field use using this during our travels in XPLOR and will update how it performs. So far out of the box this little light is a keeper. What’s your favorite go to EDC flashlight? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D8SQYJW3?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 A fairly in-depth review.

Not sure, do you have a photo to share to compare? Our Ollie is a 2020 YM. I can say that in almost 5 years in I no Temp/Pressure relief valve issues. 👍🏻 -
Recall on Truma Water Heater - From Oliver
Patriot replied to Galway Girl's topic in Ollie Modifications
The “new Jason” at Oliver Service told me, it is a quick in and out straight forward repair for the Truma. We look forward to getting it buttoned up. 👍🏻 Onward! 🇺🇸 -
We have been using these quick dry micro fiber beach and shower towels for a few years. Simply laying the towels over our camp chairs in the sun or a light breeze, they dry out fast. https://www.amazon.com/4Monster-Camping-Absorbent-Microfiber-Backpack/dp/B07WJKZDTZ/ref=sr_1_7?crid=36GBWCVUZJGKX&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.dFe_c20sdlYzd-zyAsq_funKLO06H91apK9OV9Uo-B7K1TMNfYxCxmi5cCdNK4IrLIQRvTpSDp6OaqhWtkb0ZBZT4wgdUppjio_L8576pU4U1gPhIuAOCgZF91aJ_QJM42KtEGegGWH53DHZ99w6oFy4Fj178JhJCTjhnvv-1u8fB8ItzaZjKrY1Q2MTLmj7_jDgOlgEZQ_YgZstv1PeJieqA8lAJ4mhL3xZ9IP8HITAiBlvV0ZrD69UPC6Rf9JZOA9vz21rNOpNOUhy6bVSP5JIwRiuA8jsc0R1wVaTLyVr4OuPxSIo-POjdFFAni-Pboun0cjE227CyA-EXBVHI8oGdfRViE0peDPoSTYM3kAH5cmGNqro2eEAf-0O1FukZUKXVAgjhq50SuasdLtwxhRflhfIr983VMsXroufMJJ9VBRKFdKdyGwBGbS5-bxi.gaUk0TUySiVC8Pc-2DEnvwQcjauvHndLZHUItmP3P-8&dib_tag=se&keywords=camping%2Btowels%2Bfast%2Bdrying%2Blightweight&qid=1735633114&sprefix=Camping%2Btowels%2Caps%2C112&sr=8-7&th=

Yep, I did that with the one that broke off. When I accidentally skinned it while torquing my lugs. At $3 a piece its a quick fix. 😊
