  1. @MAX Burner Thanks for your reply! 👍🏻👍🏻 I just called USAA about RSA on our car and two trucks and also spoke to Progressive about our RSA coverage for our Oliver. I was informed by both providers that a claim for Roadside Assistance would not cause our premiums to increase for the type of policies we have. USAA also said we would not loose our long standing policy discounts. cheers!
  2. Here is a little interesting information on car insurance and what can happen if you use your roadside assistance. It might be worth asking your provider what happens if you decide to use your roadside assistance? Is it considered a claim under your current auto policy? The devil is certainly in the details. https://clark.com/insurance/car-insurance/roadside-assistance/?fbclid=IwAR02oGvp3QfVch9vp8Ys8dvzKWH30fZ3Pr1XWSsBS9H-BwGeVFd-fSxeYas
  3. Gerry, Wishing you all the best with your new rig! And glad your going to still hang out here on the forum. What did you decide to roll with in a new rig? Patriot🇺🇸
  4. Here ya go..and thanks for compiling the list.
  5. @MAX Burner @Wandering Sagebrush Thanks gents. My bride aka navigator and I are happy with how it turned out. Your kind words are appreciated!
  6. Awesome feed back and report on your install. All very helpful should we decide to move forward with SL. I am looking forward to your further updates. I like your idea of a lower profile on really windy days. And no apologies, I felt sure you wanted a little more field experience before posting up. Great mod and thanks Max Burner! Patriot🇺🇸
  7. After some thought of how little we used our 3200i generator in the cargo tray on our last 42 day trip out west, we decided to move forward with a custom all aluminum cargo/storage box from Sea Biscuit metal fabrication shop. My wife and I took a 3 hr drive up to Johnson City, Tenn and visited the Sea Biscuit metal fabrication shop. We met David and Kristine Hess the owners. Some of the nicest folks you will ever meet, and they are campers as well. After seeing the high quality of the Oliver storage boxes that David and his team craft we decided to purchase one. The fit and finish is excellent. We like supporting small companies and their products made right here in the USA 🇺🇸. We know we will get a lot more use from our cargo box each time we set up camp. It has lots of room for all things for initial set up. Our gen will be secured in the truck bed. I custom ordered and installed the XPLOR metallic silver graphics from https://lettering.com/ another excellent customer service experience. Had a buddy of mine install XPEL PPF on the front and sides of the box as it sits in the road rash blast zone. For questions on custom boxes and pricing reach out to -https://seabiscuitmetaldesigns.com/product/oliver-box/ a few photos - PPF - I bought and trimmed a fatigue mat to fit from HF to line the shelf and bottom. Added graphics- Moose rack holds our cables off the ground. Plenty of storage for all initial set up gear- XPLOR graphics installed-
  8. Great report Bill. I have always had a prompt reply from Oliver Service. Given how busy they can get on any given day I am grateful for the service team Oliver has in place. The service ticket system really works well in my experience.
  9. I will chime in. I believe @MAX Burner is referring to the torque value of the nut that tightens the wet bolt. Comonly referred to as wet bolts due to having a grease zerk on the end. https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Leaf-Spring-Suspension/Redline/34007-187-00.html
  10. We attended the Charlotte RV show today and specifically asked the owner of Bumgarner RV who is now selling and servicing Olivers if they would accept a trade in on a new Oliver? Shannon Bumgarner the owner said yes that he would accept a trade in on a new Oliver. We have absolutely have no interest in selling or trading our Oliver. I just thought it was interesting to know that our local Oliver dealer will take a trade in.
  11. My bride and I had the opportunity to attend the Charlotte, NC 2024 RV show. Bumgarner Camping Center based in Lenoir, North Carolina had two 2024 Legacy Elite lls on site. It was really nice to see and talk with Shannon Bumgarner, owner of Bumgarner Camping Center and OTT Sales and Service Director Rodney Lomax. There was a really large crowd in attendance and a lot of people checking out the Olivers. There was not another camper that we had any interest in. So glad we have our Oliver.😊 https://olivertraveltrailers.com/events/charlotte-nc-rv-show/?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA8NKtBhBtEiwAq5aX2OzzjFR7exvNfjhQVdyiXRKuwXvwV5RBk6Z5DOXEW4PEarfBrcvl5hoCWyEQAvD_BwE A few photos of the Oliver trailers, Rodney, my bride and co pilot Kathy and me. We had a really nice time. A random pic of the Lithionics NeverDie battery configuration.
  12. I like this no drill option bed slide offered by Ford for the Super Duty. It’s advertised that the slide frame work uses the existing bed mounts to secure the base frame. I may do a deeper info dive on this 1500# capacity slide option. Any forum Super Duty owners using this bed slide? If so please post up your thoughts. https://accessories.ford.com/super-duty-2018-2021-bed-slide-for-6-75-bed-1
  13. Our Generac power plant exercises every Monday morning at 9 am and runs for 5 min. As soon as it starts I get a txt message letting me know it is in exercise mode anywhere in the US. After the 5 min exercise run, it shuts down and I receive another txt letting me know that it’s now on back standby ready to go. The company that did our install also monitors the gen during this time. I had the tech set the exercise mode up on Monday morning in case there was an issue. If our utility power goes off within 8 seconds we have full power restored via the gen. Generac was advertising in writing a 10 yr parts and labor warranty when we had ours installed. This pretty much sealed the deal.
  14. You are welcome John. We have been very extremely pleased with our Gen so far. 👍🏻
  15. We own lien free “XPLOR” Hull# 634 and our TV. With over 20k miles we have yet to see another TT that would serve our traveling needs better than our Oliver. Per OTT Sales and Service Manager Rodney Lomax “Everything you need and nothing you don’t”. 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸😊 @thirddoor I hope you can find a well maintained gently used Oliver on your time line. 👍🏻
  16. Neat article, thanks for posting. Our local dealer Bumgarner Camping Center has (2) 2024 LE2’s listed for $106k marked down to $95K. As an owner, I am glad we purchased our LE2 - “XPLOR” in 2020. @topgun2 could you merge these posts please? It’s a duplicate.
  17. @Steph and Dud B Necessity the mother of invention! 👍🏻 Patriot🇺🇸
  18. Nice work Foy. Always perfecting your craft! Patriot🇺🇸
  19. I can’t speak for the older Hull numbers. But I can say our Oliver warms up quickly and keeps us plenty toasty during cold weather. Over the years Oliver has listened to owners and has continued to make changes and many improvements since the early models. We have a vent in the wet bath. As for the closets they are not heated and never really found this to be an issue. You may want to consider a supplemental small plug in heater. Running duct work to the front bath may come with many challenges. Patriot🇺🇸
  20. Welcome Scott and Conni, From a USAF Gulf War Vet, a big thank you for your service in the best and most lethal Air Force in the world. 🇺🇸 I really enjoyed my time served in USAF. Your delivery day will be here before you know it. Congrats on your new Oliver! Patriot🇺🇸
  21. Not sure if this photo helps or not. The rack that engages the tire does allow some adjustment for fenders. (Arrow points to the adjustment holes) We have a set of Trek 920 touring bikes with full fenders and also this set of Specialized “Rolls” which have full fenders. I trust the way 1Up secures the bikes, however I still use a back up Velcro strap on each wheel securing the wheel to the 1Up rack where the wheel and tire are secure in the rack. Just incase for some reason the rack ratchet mechanism should fail. In this pic I don’t have the Velcro straps on, but it shows where I install them. Hope this helps.
  22. It ought to be beefy for $750. Then add the optional license plate relocation kit. https://1up-usa.com/product/license-plate-holder-2-0 We really like our 1 UP Super Duty rack, like anything you pay for quality. USA made. 🇺🇸 https://1up-usa.com/product/2-super-duty-double
