  1. I checked my shelf stock and I am good! Thanks for the heads up.
  2. @rideandfly Bill, I noticed you updated your signature, well done sir! Bill & Debbie / 2015 LE2 #75 / 2024 F-150 5.0L / North Carolina Welcome to the Ford Family, and congratulations to you and Debbie on your new TV.
  3. Yes, thanks for posting. I will be inspecting these areas for sure.
  4. I wonder how this recall will impact the fair market resale or trade in value of repaired/recalled trucks? Who would purchase a previously recalled used truck? Personally I would pass. The recall history and engine replacement or rebuild will be a permanent VIN record with Toyota. Toyota has a massive undertaking is an understatement not only in addressing this the recall, but from a PR and future buyers trust point of view. I have previously owned (3) Tundras and was very happy with all three trucks. It’s sad that the Toyota brand is taking such a hit. My hopes are Toyota steps up and does the right thing, it would certainly be in their best interest.
  5. Bill, A very clean retro fit! Nice job! David
  6. A great story and another testament of how decent ALL the folks at Oliver really are. Thanks for sharing Art!
  7. We received the recall notice today, and inspected our 7000# bulldog hitch/coupler. Then completed and mailed the enclosed coupler recall short form to Oliver stating that our bulldog coupler is stamped 7000# and Hull #634 XPLOR is in compliance. Done! ✅ Onward!
  8. @NomadLife Hey KJ, Here you go. We have had this installed 4 years and are very happy with it. It has a manual key lock for both the handle and dead bolt. Absolutely no issues and very handy if you just want to use the key pad while camped. Naturally you will need to change batteries out once a year. It will let you know that through a lower beeping tone that your bats are getting low. We have never had a problem with our RV lock and the install took about 15 minutes tops taking my time. Pro tip - We also replaced our key pad with the silicone pad. They run sales often. https://www.rvlock.com/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign=1748190371&utm_content=69572607838&utm_term=rvlock compact&gadid=392517272318&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw9vqyBhCKARIsAIIcLMGRkbWSRFcRLVHYMe9o6_qj19LLEKcw6kNk9rEErXwBIBWwKcBZSOAaAuDZEALw_wcB We purchased this one - I would still double check with RV lock to ensure your ordering the correct lock for fitment. https://www.rvlock.com/products/rvlock-v4-0-w-integrated-keypad-for-rvs
  9. Bill, We gotta get our 🫐berries picked and then we’ll be on the road again. So far things are looking really good. We’ll see.👍🏻 David
  10. Bill, With the type of meticulous care you take of ALL your vehicles, I don’t think you will encounter any ongoing issues with your Tundra. 👍🏻
  11. A thought provoking article on lithium-ion battery fires and how many first responders across the US are not well trained or equipped to deal such intense hot fires. A long but interesting read. https://www.yahoo.com/tech/lithium-ion-battery-fires-rise-121058068.html?soc_src=social-sh&soc_trk=ma
  12. Congrats to you and your bride on your very special day! 30 years is quite a milestone. There is nothing like spending your retirement years together seeing this gorgeous country.Wishing you both continued happiness and lots of fun in your future travels!
  13. Art, That sounds like a nice area. We totally loved our month in CO last year. If we head out west again this summer we’ll surely touch base. We need to get through our blueberry picking season and then we’ll be traveling again. A real pleasure meeting you and D at the rally. Thanks for the heads up! Dave
  14. 63 degrees here at home on Blueberry Hill and chilling out back. A perfect evening for a warm fire and some down time to plot and plan our next trip with XPLOR. The mountains are calling.
  15. I know there are a few Super Duty owners on here. So I decided to post this as it might generate some interest. After our trip I decided to change out the cabin filter on our TV. So I picked up (2) new filters from my local dealer and knocked it out with a little knowledge from YouTube University. Surprisingly with only 25k on the odo my filter overall looked pretty good, but still swapped it out. Two is one and one is none! I keep a decent supply of oil, air, and both fuel filters in my shop and always carry a few spares when we are traveling. Cabin filter PN# for 19 -22 YM.
  16. Was so disappointed Toyota dropped the bullet proof 5.7 V8. We loved our 14 Platinum CrewMax it was a great truck. We just needed a lot more cargo capacity when loaded up to travel safely and ready to camp. The negative press and stop sale stickers on the new 22/23 YM Tundras sitting on dealers lots impacted by this recall is not good. Only time will tell how this works out.
  17. Another great video by Jason Essary. We are 4 years in with our Truma and really like everything about continuous hot water. The ease of cleaning and winterizing is perfect for our needs.
  18. We are moving to G. Much larger level grassy site, (we like gatherings with friends around campfires, evening shade, and a partial lake view.👍🏻
  19. It’s not that close to Mt Pisgah but we have stayed at bear den twice and enjoyed it. It’s usually pretty cool in the elevations. https://spaciousskiescampgrounds.com/bear-den/ If you’re going to be on the Blue Ridge Parkway, I would very highly recommend visiting Mt Mitchell and Grandfather Mountain. https://www.ncparks.gov/state-parks/mount-mitchell-state-park https://grandfather.com/ If you happen to be in the City of Asheville you may want to visit the historic Biltmore Hotel. Keep your head on a swivel in the City of Asheville as the city made the brilliant decision to defund their police force. 😏https://www.biltmore.com/stay/?gclsrc=aw.ds&gclid=CjwKCAjwx-CyBhAqEiwAeOcTdQBL5_9FOL0HJrzux7TRx8nOMzwinSWTOTqlNB0AkkTMA9vMgS5HCRoCF38QAvD_BwE
  20. This little Craftsman has been our go to hand held vac and lives in our Oliver when traveling. It’s also handy while on long trips to keep the interior of our TV floor and truck Bedrug clean. It takes up very little space and has served us well. https://www.lowes.com/pd/CRAFTSMAN-V20-Cordless-Hand-Vacuum-Bare/5000250841?cm_mmc=shp-_-c-_-prd-_-tol-_-ggl-_-CRP_SHP_LIA_TOL_Online_C-D-_-5000250841-_-local-_-0-_-0&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD2B2W9-XLQQI4H7JdrLfEr1cBTh4&gclid=CjwKCAjwx-CyBhAqEiwAeOcTdVuoDkejzEvHyzvxUPmjaPWSHmx4DfPyYeZlRjKtWRi17fhc-Z2VhBoCt8UQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  21. As of a few minutes ago we cancelled our res for site E13. So it is now available. We switched to another more desirable site. Just wanted to pass it forward to anyone who may want a concrete pad during next years rally. If interested you may want to call LGSP and scoop up this site, it will likely get gone quickly. Patriot🇺🇸
  22. @Derek B Welcome to the forum and family. Ask lots of questions and enjoy your new to you Oliver! Patriot🇺🇸
  23. Nice find Johnny! Thanks for posting up! 👍🏻
  24. @rideadeuce All great suggestions! Thanks for passing them forward!
