  1. @Rolind @JBurton At this year’s Oliver Rally the Truma Tech Dave Lehman announced at the Truma presentation that only Truma trained techs and Oliver TT Service Centers techs would be authorized to install the new Truma soft start on Olivers. My SWAG is it may not be available for DIY installation as doing so will likely cancel out the soft start 2 yr factory warranty.
  2. Johnny, Thanks for the in depth update/report. As an fyi: I spoke to Mike at Oliver Service this past week and they do not have the Aventa soft start available for sale and install yet.
  3. One on each side of our twin beds just below the reading lights on the pillow end. Perfect place to store our reading glasses πŸ‘“ and I phone.

  6. I believe @topgun2 recommended this mod to me early on. Just inside the door has proven to be a super handy place to hang our keys. The shelf on top is where our mini flashlight lives. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0154HAWHE?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

  16. @rideandfly Bill, I noticed you updated your signature, well done sir! Bill & Debbie / 2015 LE2 #75 / 2024 F-150 5.0L / North Carolina Welcome to the Ford Family, and congratulations to you and Debbie on your new TV.
  17. Yes, thanks for posting. I will be inspecting these areas for sure.
  18. I wonder how this recall will impact the fair market resale or trade in value of repaired/recalled trucks? Who would purchase a previously recalled used truck? Personally I would pass. The recall history and engine replacement or rebuild will be a permanent VIN record with Toyota. Toyota has a massive undertaking is an understatement not only in addressing this the recall, but from a PR and future buyers trust point of view. I have previously owned (3) Tundras and was very happy with all three trucks. It’s sad that the Toyota brand is taking such a hit. My hopes are Toyota steps up and does the right thing, it would certainly be in their best interest.
  19. Same here. πŸ‘πŸ»
  20. Bill, A very clean retro fit! Nice job! David
  21. A great story and another testament of how decent ALL the folks at Oliver really are. Thanks for sharing Art!
  22. We received the recall notice today, and inspected our 7000# bulldog hitch/coupler. Then completed and mailed the enclosed coupler recall short form to Oliver stating that our bulldog coupler is stamped 7000# and Hull #634 XPLOR is in compliance. Done! βœ… Onward!
  23. @NomadLife Hey KJ, Here you go. We have had this installed 4 years and are very happy with it. It has a manual key lock for both the handle and dead bolt. Absolutely no issues and very handy if you just want to use the key pad while camped. Naturally you will need to change batteries out once a year. It will let you know that through a lower beeping tone that your bats are getting low. We have never had a problem with our RV lock and the install took about 15 minutes tops taking my time. Pro tip - We also replaced our key pad with the silicone pad. They run sales often. https://www.rvlock.com/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign=1748190371&utm_content=69572607838&utm_term=rvlock compact&gadid=392517272318&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw9vqyBhCKARIsAIIcLMGRkbWSRFcRLVHYMe9o6_qj19LLEKcw6kNk9rEErXwBIBWwKcBZSOAaAuDZEALw_wcB We purchased this one - I would still double check with RV lock to ensure your ordering the correct lock for fitment. https://www.rvlock.com/products/rvlock-v4-0-w-integrated-keypad-for-rvs
  24. Bill, We gotta get our 🫐berries picked and then we’ll be on the road again. So far things are looking really good. We’ll see.πŸ‘πŸ» David
  25. Bill, With the type of meticulous care you take of ALL your vehicles, I don’t think you will encounter any ongoing issues with your Tundra. πŸ‘πŸ»
