We have had USAA for 3 decades for all our ☂️insurance coverage. Yes, we have seen our rates jump without ever having filed any claims. All said it would require a deep discount for us to switch carriers only to see the slow creep price increase of signing up with a new carrier. Sure a local carrier can tailor an insurance policy to your needs but ultimately you will eventually see your costs creep up it’s economics. Not a full subscriber to just stormy weather in the south causing rate increases. New construction costs, storms, wildfires, mudslides, and floods naturally do contribute to rate increases across the board. So I believe there is a far bigger picture such as insurance companies are taking on massive losses. State Farm and Geico recently made the decision to stop doing new business in job killing California due to over regulation. Also factor in social unrest in many states with businesses being looted and eventually closing their doors. We live in interesting times. It would come as no surprise to me to see other large insurance companies walk away from other over regulated states. Our new 2020 OLE2 came with a hard copy owners manual. I do believe Oliver still provides hard copies. Patriot🇺🇸

Had they offered Lithium/solar in 2020 we would have been all in. It’s a nice option!

Hey Brian, Interesting to hear that about DCT. Do you find you need to check the torque on your lugs? I am guessing no issues? I have my tires rotated and balanced every 5k by DCT, so far all good. Patriot🇺🇸

Maybe they have done away with auto renewal, it’s was been over a year ago. I believe at the time you needed to uncheck ✅ auto renewal. This was not easy to see the uncheck AR when we registered/signed up. I believe what happened was we never unchecked the auto renewal box. We just happened to see the auto charge on our CC catch the auto renewal just in time. We called HH to cancel and they allowed us to cancel even though we were past our renewal date by one day. The rep we spoke to said they had a number of complaints about the auto-renewal box needing to by unchecked. She said they were working on changing it. Let us know if they did. 😊 You may wanna give them a call and ask what their current renewal policy is.

Yes the Apple fee remains to be seen for sure. If they keep it reasonable it will sell, if not I agree with you most won’t opt in. I am willing to wait and see how far Apple takes their SAT/Comm. 👍🏻👍🏻 Patriot🇺🇸

All good points, and thoughts! We will likely stay with the iPhone 14 with satellite capability for now based on our needs. If I saw a real need I certainly would consider the InReach mini. Right now I don’t. It’s a piece of fairly “cool looking” expensive tech with a monthly fee that would sit idle more than likely ever get used by us. We won’t be traveling to the Arctic Circle any time soon. Brrrrr…🥶😊 Patriot🇺🇸

Interesting.. I have never been a fan of wheel spacers sandwiched in between any wheel and the hub for many different reasons. I have all things tires done on our vehicles including our Ollie by Discount Tire. DCT will not install wheel spacers due to the liability concerns. I would think these as with any spacers would require regular lug torque checks which many people would likely not do. I agree with @SeaDawg and will stick with weights preferably installed on the inside of my aluminum wheels. Patriot🇺🇸

My bride and I both have iPhone 14’s which do come with Satellite SOS. I thought this review was worth sharing as this guy does a decent comparison between the 14 and the InReach 2. I guess the question is do you really need both? Patriot🇺🇸

I may look into purchasing the InReach 2, just in case we are ever “out of reach” with normal comm. 👍🏻 Patriot🇺🇸

Steve, All good info, as mentioned there have been no reported failures to date by owners or Oliver of using the OEM sleeve. It’s also important to note any modifications to the OEM bike rack naturally voids the factory warranty. I do believe what’s really most important is to not exceed the weight limit of the rack. If the customer reaches out and states they had “self levelling sealer” installed by Oliver directly, then they have already had the update done and do not need to pursue any additional updates. We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Columbia a few times and would recommend it as a base. Patriot🇺🇸

@chiwald Love the Flag, cool front graphics and the sun shade! I am guessing that flag is flown only when you’re parked? Have you had any issues with rain water pooling on the sun shade? You will be so glad you are keeping your Ollie out of the sun while not in use. The sun’s UV is brutal on the gelcoat. Patriot🇺🇸
