Truma Six Short Two Long EPS Error
Patriot replied to DunnYet's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
DunnYet, Thanks for posting your update even though you never found out exactly what the cause of your issue was. It’s good to hear Truma did take care of you and that their customer service was great and as you say they were willing to get involved. 👍🏻 Patriot🇺🇸 -
Jason, Thank you for the updates on the new model Olivers changes and how some of these updates can be retrofit on older models as well. We look forward to seeing you in May when we swap out our Dometic AC for the Truma Aventa, Patriot 🇺🇸

@Caddymvyou bet! Necessity was the mother of invention on this mod. -
Looking for solution for charging multiple devices
Patriot replied to Kathy Tewart's topic in General Discussion
There are no outlets flanking the night stand, hence the mod. On the newer model Olivers the number of outlets has been reduced. And a few inches of cord visible at that location is really not a distraction at all. At least for us! 😊 Patriot🇺🇸 -

We use this “cube” and like it so much we purchased a second one. We have it mounted at the rear of our night stand with a small piece of clear Velcro. We just use the plug at the top left hand side of ceiling. And neatly hide the charger cord behind self adhesive cable race way. -
Like @Frank C we also changed our zerk fittings. Adding the zerk caps seems to make greasing a much easier task to ✅. Thanks @topgun2 for the suggestion at the time on the caps. -Patriot 🇺🇸

Brian, Yes I am aware of the Warn winch, it’s a nice really well designed option. I have not added yet. And thank you for the link of the much cheaper price than most dealers offer. And as an fyi Brian no OEM headlight recalls that I am aware of on my 2021. 😉 Patriot🇺🇸 -

Agreed BL, The OEM LED head lights on my 21 F350 are blindingly bright. In fact the brightest lights I have ever owned on any vehicle. A total game changer and I highly recommend. Patriot🇺🇸 -
Welcome back and stick with your PT. It sounds like you are well on your way to full recovery. I agree with @ScubaRx I really try to avoid ladders as much as possible. Wishing you many happy and safe travels! Patriot 🇺🇸

This company might be worth calling. I have not used them so I cannot endorse their products or customer service. https://www.headlightrevolution.com I see you own a 6.7 power stroke. I do use this on line distributor for OEM filters and have been very happy with their prices and shipping. https://www.dieselfiltersonline.com Just passing it forward. -
@Wolfepack thanks for sharing all those important details. The more we learn and share the better it gets. 👍🏻👍🏻 Patriot🇺🇸

You bet and you are welcome! I think it does give a peace of mind should cell service not be available. 👍🏻👍🏻

We recently had to retire our iPhone 7’s as Apple is no longer going to push IOS updates out for our older phones and our phones could not be updated. Our phones kept getting “No service” icons and Apple could not fix the issue. Planned obsolescence?? (We learned this icon signaled a failure of an iPhone component.) So, the dreaded and costly update to new phones had to happen. We decided to bite the bullet and purchase outright (2) new iPhone 14’s and continue with our Verizon plan. I attached a tutorial video of the new iPhone 14 SOS feature. There maybe other better tutorials out there, but this pretty much covers the basics. The SOS feature is provided “free of charge” for the first two years and it’s a subscription after that. It will be interesting to see what Apple charges for the subscription service. Needless to say the SOS feature could really come in handy in an emergency situation where no cell service is available and we need emergency services. Just passing this info forward in the event anyone is looking at purchasing a new iPhone. Naturally we hope we never need the SOS feature, however it is a peace of mind to know that we have it available in an emergency. Happy and Safe Travels! Patriot🇺🇸
